Composition of Buranovsky grandmothers. “We are old, but not sick!” How do Buranovo grandmothers live, deprived of a brand? The best of the best

After the participation of the team in Eurovision, many inhabitants of the Earth began to ask the question: where did Buranovskiye Babushki come from? The answer is simple - from Russia. Our country is so large that a huge number of talented people live on its territory, able to prove themselves regardless of age and social status.

Small village, big popularity

The small village of Buranovo became extremely popular after the Eurovision Song Contest in 2012. Until that moment, not everyone knew about the village. Now it is the most favorite place for tourists to visit. In the state of Russia, Udmurtia is its subject. Buranovo cannot even be called a village, it is a village with a population of 658 people. The village has existed since 1710.

Since the church was built in Buranovo, it has become the most visited: bazaars were organized for residents of other villages. The church has not survived to this day. Now a new temple is being built, and ordinary grandmothers are collecting money for its construction. And it is precisely this desire to make available to the villagers a place where they could become closer to God that makes the performers go on stage again and again.

Where are they from, these talented old women

Where do Buranovskiye Babushki get their money from? What are they? What is their popularity? The Buranovskiye Babushki collective performs songs not only in the Udmurt language, but also in Russian folk songs, as well as hits of famous contemporary performers translating them into their native Udmurt language.

The ensemble was created over forty years ago. Can be counted average age grandmothers, it is equal to seventy years. For the first time, the performers performed in 2008 during the celebration of Mother Language Day. The holiday was held in State Philharmonic Udmurtia. The old ladies surprised everyone with their repertoire. They performed songs by Viktor Tsoi and Boris Grebenshchikov. To the content of the songs famous musicians were understandable to all listeners, the team performed works on mother tongue. This interested the entire press and television.

The best of the best

And then a miracle happened: the team representing Russia at the competition had the name "Buranovskiye Babushki". Eurovision for them began with the qualifying round of the contest in 2010. Grandmothers took an honorable third place, singing a song about birch bark in their own language. In 2012, at another round of selection, the grandmothers sang a song that brought them incredible popularity, the right to speak on behalf of all of Russia and later, at the competition in Baku, claim second place.

Youth, famous people and venerable producers, gathered at the Eurovision Song Contest, greeted the grandmothers standing up. Everyone was captivated not only by the respected age of the old women performing on the stage, but also by the amazing sense of music and talent. The recording with the performance of the Buranovskiye Babushki band became a real hit on the Internet. Websites and news lines literally exploded after the ensemble entered the stage. The comments were the most rave reviews. They noted the originality and originality of the song and the group itself.

Talent Feature

This uniqueness lies in the fact that grandmothers performed works of their own composition. So, the song about birch bark, which made a splash in the audience, was written by Zarbatova Elizaveta Filippovna, the oldest member of the team. What is the song about? About the hard lot of a simple Udmurt woman, She thinks about how to clothe and feed her children, make her alone, without the help of men. strong hands. This song is still relevant today. How many single women with the same problems raise children, earn money, make a career. The song was written a long time ago, and the woman's share has not improved at all.

Celebrity Homeland

The native village, where "Buranovskiye Babushki" comes from, does not have such sights for which it is worth coming thousands of kilometers away. But here they meet with a kind word, clean air, beautiful scenery. And famous artists will talk to everyone and give their autographs. The nature of Udmurtia is rich in its incredible expanses and talented people. That's where "Buranovskiye Babushki" came from. It is there that their sonorous voices and soulful songs sound.

The team "Buranovskiye Babushki" has already changed its composition. On the this moment from the previous one, which won a prize for the country, only one participant remained. This is Natalya Pugacheva, People's Artist The updated line-up includes soloists from State Ensemble"Italmas", the Republican theater "Aikay", the head of the group of accordionists "Arganchi" and simple amateur artists.

well deserved award

"Buranovskiye Babushki" celebrated the year of their performance at Eurovision with a wonderful award " National artist"by Decree of the President of the Udmurt Republic. According to this document, eight members of the ensemble were noted for their great contribution to the development of art and high performing skills.

Brought incredible popularity to the team "Buranovskiye Babushki" "Eurovision". Over the years of their work, women gained skills from concert to concert, became more popular. And participation in a competition of this magnitude has become just a regularity of their talented performances. But so far there has not been a single specialist who could determine to which genre the performance of their songs by grandmothers can be attributed.

The team found fans not only in their native village, the republic and Russia as a whole. All over the world they became interested in the phenomenon of Udmurt old women. In Japan, the appeal to national traditions and art. In this country, they filmed a small documentary about grandmothers.

For heaven's sake

"Buranovskiye grandmothers" sing very sincere songs, they are happy to help each person with advice and deed, they are very hospitable. Therefore, their dreams are as bright and pure as they are. Grandmothers always wanted the Church of the Holy Trinity to be restored in their village. All the money that the team managed to earn at concerts was donated to the fund of a rural shrine. In May 2012, the foundation was laid for the temple.

You should not be so naive as to believe that the money that the grandmothers managed to earn should have been enough to build the church. But the incredible love for the ensemble melted the ice in the hearts of those people who are far from art. Thus, the head of Udmurtia, Alexander Volkov, allocated funds not only for the restoration of the temple, but also for the repair of roads and water supply to the village of Buranovo. In addition, two soloists of the ensemble Tuktareva Olga Nikolaevna and Koneva Galina Nikolaevna became participants in the television game “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?”. They won eight hundred thousand rubles and sent all the money to build a temple in their native village.

Incredible popularity

Charming grandmothers conquered many. They began to appear in commercials for popular food and other materials. Famous old women are actively promoting safe traffic. They are freelance employees of the Udmurt traffic police department. One of the participants of "Buranovskiye Babushki" joined the team of torchbearers of the Sochi Winter Olympic Games.

In the team, everything did not always turn out well, but the ability to survive, to compromise distinguishes all members of the song team. On tour, grandmothers always rely only on themselves. They stock up on canned food, take baked bread with them, and cook their own meals.

"House of Lyudmila Zykina" signed a five-year cooperation contract with the "Buranovskiye Babushki" team. In May 2014, his term expired. The ensemble refused further work, as its participants did not agree with the decision of the producer. It was proposed to update the composition by recruiting young performers. All former members of the ensemble were fired, putting forward the condition of a ban on the performance of songs that they sang in a group called Buranovskiye Babushki, because even the name of the ensemble, like all phonograms, was limited by the copyright of Zykina's House.

No one guessed that a simple amateur team would cause such a storm of emotions all over the world. And none of the members of the ensemble even thought about the professional stage. They just wanted to get together to sing like their grandparents sang. The songs helped in the work, distracted for a while from the problems and everyday difficulties in life. For these simple working women, the main concerns of the villager remain: to plant and harvest crops on time, to prepare food for pets for the winter. For them, there is no problem of choice between creativity and family. They will always choose the latter.

Forces come from nature

The performers at the Eurovision Song Contest were treated with great care and attention. The organizers were worried about the grandmothers' health. A resuscitator was constantly with the team. Doctors conducted a special examination, which resulted in the conclusion that every performer is in good health. The thing is that grandmothers live in harmony with wildlife, feeding on energy from its sources.

For grandmothers, music is a faithful companion in life.

Many of the Buranovo performers are unhappy in their personal lives. Some are quite lonely. Music for them is the only opportunity for meetings and communication, it gives them additional energy and the meaning of existence. Women try to do everything with their own hands, doing hard men's work. But none of them shows that it's hard for them. They go on stage smiling, giving all listeners and spectators a good mood.

In all of Russia, every resident knows exactly in which republic "Buranovskiye Babushki" appeared. This is the Republic of Udmurtia, it has always been famous for having arms factories. Its territory was glorified by the brilliant designer, the creator of the world-famous machine gun Mikhail Kalashnikov. And now the Buranovskiye Babushki team has added a piece of glory to their native Udmurtia. Not every Russian village can boast that caring talented people live in them.

IA SakhaNews. In a few days at the Eurovision Song Contest in Baku, some very old and not at all glamorous women from Russia will perform the song "Party for Everybody". At the competition, they were tipped, if not a clear victory, then one of the highest places - that's for sure. And the amazed world, shrugging its shoulders in bewilderment, already today asks each other: who are they?

So after all, who are they, "Buranovskiye Babushki"?

SOMEWHERE IN RUSSIA

Not every European will find Udmurtia on the map. If you ask, they will answer: yes, somewhere there, in the vast and mysterious Russia.

The Russians are closer, although not everyone knows either. If you look from Moscow - beyond the Volga, but in front of the Urals. You can get your bearings this way: on the second day of the journey, the passengers of the Moscow-Neryungri train pass the Argyz station. A few kilometers from Argyz is the village of Malaya Purga, the center of the district, not far, 30 kilometers from Izhevsk, the capital of Udmurtia, is the village of Buranovo.

The usual Russian outback. In the village of Buranovo, no one is in a hurry. Cell phone works only on hillocks. Dirt streets, wooden private houses, each of which has its own planted and sown garden. On the one hand - boring and poor, on the other - rural grace.

Also, of course, the house of culture. Director of the Buranovsky village club Olga Tuktareva(she is also the head of the Buranovskiye Babushki ensemble), says that women always sang in Buranovo. She herself is local, since childhood she remembers the milkmaids who went to the summer pastures in open trucks and always sang. Udmurts, in general, are musically distinguished, have a rich musical folklore. There are many such ensembles as "grandmothers" in the villages. Any local resident can offhand name a dozen village folklore groups - "Zarni Shep" from the village of Malaya Purga, "Marzhan" from the Zavyalovsky district, "Zardon" from the Debessky district and others.

HOW MANY GRANDMANS IN THE WORLD

Now no one can say how old the ensemble is. Maybe 25 years, or maybe all 40. They have been singing together for a very long time. Nobody ever thought about a professional stage, they were just going to sing - the way their great-grandmothers sang for many centuries in a row.

Even they themselves do not know the exact number of today's "Buranovo grandmothers". Someone in the village believes that there are eleven of them. Basically, they sing eight. At Eurovision, according to the rules of the competition, there will be six performers.

Olga Nikolaevna Tuktareva - director of the Buranovsky Palace of Culture and artistic director ensemble, and not a grandmother at all. She is suitable for “grandmothers” as a daughter, she is only 43 years old.

Oldest - . She is the main composer, although she does not know the notes. She is 85 years old, sings only in Buranovo and does not participate in tour performances. Therefore, he will not perform at Eurovision 2012.

“When I leave, I hire a woman to feed all my cattle. And I have 18 heads - a goat, two cats, chickens, roosters, guinea fowls. I pay her 100 rubles a day. How else? Now all the money understands", - Galina Nikolaevna laments.

BABA LISA - COMPOSER

The song "Long-long birch bark and how to make an aishon out of it", with which the grandmothers performed at qualifying round Eurovision, wrote 10 years ago a member of the team Elizaveta Filippovna Zarbatova. Everyone calls her just Baba Lisa. At that time, no one knew the Buranovskiye Babushki team. Baba Liza admitted that she is glad that many people have heard her song. She herself would gladly go to Moscow, but the years are not the same - 85 years is not a joke.

The song sings about the difficult female lobe: an Udmurt woman, going out into the field, turns to a birch: “How can I make ayshon out of birch bark? How to weave a belt from linen? There are seven shops in the house - how to feed them? In the stall - a young mare - how to teach her to plow? I go out into the field - the distance is boundless - how can I, an unlearned one, plow the land and sow seeds?. All this is in the Udmurt language.

For the first time, the composer's gift manifested itself in Elizaveta Filippovna at the age of 14, that is, in 1941. The war, the father is at the front, and the entire female population is on the collective farm. Lisa was preparing timber for the locomotive fleet of the Argyz junction station, and the songs in her head were born by themselves.

And so it is until now - songs are born spontaneously non-stop. Whether she walks down the street, sits at home, does housework, in her head - music follows the words, or vice versa. Having composed, she sings the song aloud to other chorus girls, they remember, write down the words and go on stage.

BUT musical notation Elizaveta Filippovna never knows. Yes, and she is useless to her.

FROM A TURKMEN COSSACK

At Valentina Semyonovna Pyatchenko one hand is lifeless. And I lost my hand a long time ago- Valentina Semyonovna smiles and waves her stump like the wing of a toy windmill, - but now there is free bus travel to Izhevsk”.

Life is also difficult. She lived with her husband in Krasnovodsk, on the Caspian Sea. “All our grandfathers and grandmothers are local, Buranovsky, and I flew like a bird to virgin lands and met my Cossack there. He took me to Krasnovodsk. And she worked in a Turkmen school for 21 years. Russian language taught. She rode a horse through all the steppes. I saw mirages! And returned", - says "Buranovskaya grandmother".

She left her husband in 1984 when she realized that he was cheating on her. She left with the children. She left him an apartment in Turkmenistan, and she herself returned to Buranovo to her old mother. In 1998, while working on a circular, she lost her arm. Now, going up to the stage, he puts on a prosthesis.

One of the sons has died, the second does not live well with his family.

So the songs and girlfriends - "Buranovsky grandmothers" - save. When he goes on tour, his daughter-in-law looks after the house and the chickens.

Performer of patriotic songs Ramil Nurimanov I found out on the Internet that Valentina Semyonovna does not have a hand, and she is tormented by phantom pains. Ramil suggested a familiar doctor - an acupuncturist. Treatment for Valentina Semyonovna has not helped yet. But the doctor and the singer chopped wood. It's not bad too.

RED WHITES OFFEND

By Grandma" Faces of Ivanovna Baysarova- a rich garden: the beds are high, like mattresses. Eggplants, tomatoes, cucumbers grow in the greenhouse. The flowers are like a garden in Rothschild's villa in Monaco.

Chickens match the garden - thick and beautiful. Only "redheads offend whites" because whites are smaller.

Granya Ivanovna knits ceremonial stockings with patterns for all "Buranovo grandmothers".

Zoya Sergeevna Dorodova She worked as a milkmaid for 36 years. One spring, the husband, in a drunken stupor, went along thin ice through the pond, ended up in the water near the shore, but did not know how to swim. The three of them were left to live in the woman's kingdom: grandmother, Zoya Sergeevna herself and daughter Olya.

But, at the same time, they themselves built the house. “I didn’t need a new husband, I myself had masculine strength”- says the songstress.

BATS FOR GRANDMAS

There is a museum in Buranovsky DK, where "grandmothers" live national culture, and manages it Alevtina Gennadievna Begisheva. She also sings along with everyone. The exhibits in the museum do not gather dust: spinning yarn, weaving ribbons, playing the harp - both young people and the elderly come here to learn folk tricks.

Grandma's costumes too living history. For example, Alevtina Gennadievna's monisto is from coins of the mid-19th century. This detail of the wardrobe was worn by her great-grandmother.

And the husband of Alevtina Begisheva, a machine operator, weaves bast shoes in his spare time Ilya. He studied with his grandfather from a distant village, who showed how to wrap the edges. When he goes to pick a bark in the forest, it is important to find young sticks without a single knot, which grow in the thicket - densely, like reeds. From the ten ends cut into the evening, you can weave a couple of bast shoes.

Bast shoes on your feet, and - to Eurovision!

IS IT DIFFICULT TO LIVE WITH A STAR?

At a small, pretty grandmother Natalia Yakovlevna Pugacheva, which sprinkles with jokes, jokes, also the husband is alive and well. How did you meet? “I worked as a milkmaid, he worked as a foreman. Once on a farm, he caught me". The fact that her husband was constantly looking to the side, Natalya Yakovlevna tried not to notice. “There were four children, but my character is weak”- the old woman laughs.

Now it's the other way around: my grandmother goes on tour, and Afanasy Afanasyevich forced to look after the economy. Each time, with a scandal, he lets his wife go to performances. It's hard to live with a "star".

Natalya Yakovlevna's monisto is simpler - everything is from ... Soviet rubles. She gave her old six-row jewelry to a friend to wear at the wedding, but she did not return the expensive necklace. “Then she herself went into the damp earth. Where to look for the ends? - asks the grandmother-baby.

But, however, the grandmother does not lose heart: “God is educating me. I live well! There are cows, chickens, turkeys! I sing - and the heart beats better ".

ALL TOGETHER BUILD A TEMPLE

The pension of the Buranovsky grandmothers is from 6,700 to 10,000 rubles. Many get up at 5.30 in the morning, but what about the household! They milk and feed the cattle, and songs help them cope with household chores.

“Those who don’t have gas still need to melt the stove. Chop wood, bring water: not everyone has water at home. Let's manage the household - and go to the store. And there at ten o'clock - to the club. We rehearse, then talk: who sowed what, what socks he knitted, we will exchange patterns, we will drink tea ... "

The age is such that, by their own admission, the old ladies, they are friends like in a kindergarten.

In winter, all grandmothers try to get up on skis. They come to the forest, make a fire, cook dumplings, make tea. “We don’t eat kebabs, we like our own dish, Udmurt, like dumplings. Pel in Udmurt ear, nanny - bread ".

Together they collect money for the temple. In the spring, the foundation will be poured and construction will begin. There will be a three-headed temple, made of red brick.

PUCHEKO, PUCHEKO...

So what is the secret of the "Buranovsky grandmothers"? Why are they so popular? Japanese journalists filmed a story about grandmothers, Finnish television is preparing a big program, RTR is filming a video. Eurovision is going crazy.

They don't even know music.

They say that once upon a time a tribe lived in the foothills of the Urals, from which many Finno-Ugric peoples were formed, including the Udmurts. The ancestors of the Finno-Ugric peoples were observant, they knew the laws of the world and nature. Their descendants dispersed throughout Europe, speaking in different languages. All of them today make up a large Finno-Ugric world. Who knows, maybe this is the reason for such an interest among advanced European youth in a small team from Udmurtia? After all, in fact, they are the genetic grandmothers of many Europeans?

There is also a less romantic version. Several recent years Europe is experiencing a boom - fashion for folklore. But this is not folklore. There are no analogues of "Buranovsky grandmothers" in show business today. None of the experts can give a clear definition in what style or genre grandmothers sing.

Music critics have an even more mundane version of what is happening. “The fact that Buranovskiye Babushki won the Russian preselection for Eurovision is rather a gesture of desperation. Russian pop is so monstrous, so hopeless and uncompetitive that, I think, both the experts who voted at this national final and the audience, so to speak, voted in protest, voting against pop, and not for ethnic music., - considers Artemy Troitsky. But this is a critic with his very clever theories. Or maybe everything is much simpler?

Think about it - what are these grandmothers singing about? Here is the translation of the song with which they reached the Eurovision final: "No husband. How to dig a garden alone? How to teach a young foal to plow? How to weave thin? How to feed children? How to live on? Pucheco ... pucheco ... "(“Pucheko” - in Udmurt, uneven, with knots, yarn. In figuratively- difficult, with mistakes, not in everything a successful life).

On stage, the Buranovsky grandmothers do not have simulated and orchestrated feelings. Behind each - a difficult fate. They sing about the unimaginable.

That's the whole secret.

They are real!

Based on media materials prepared Oleg SOLODUKHIN.

Buranovsky grandmothers (udm. Brangurtys pesyanayyos)- a small folklore group from the village of Buranovo, Malopurginsky district of the Republic of Udmurtia (). The ensemble was created over 40 years ago, the average age of the participants is 68 years.

Olga Nikolaevna Tuktareva, director of the Buranovsky House of Culture and artistic director of the group, united the grandmothers under her wing, but none of the grandmothers seriously thinks about the professional stage.

They sing like their great-great-grandmothers sang.
They carefully preserve the values that have been passed down from generation to generation for centuries.
They live by subsistence farming the way their ancestors lived.
They can refuse to perform just because they need to plant potatoes. And everyone treats it with understanding.

The main repertoire consists of Udmurt songs and ditties. For the first time, "Grandmothers" began to perform rehashings of famous pop songs in the Udmurt language in 2008. Among them - "Golden City" by Boris Grebenshchikov, "A Star named "Sun" by Viktor Tsoi, "Smoke on the water»Deep Purple, «Hotel California» Eagles, «Yesterday» and «Let it be» Beatles, «Walks on the Water» by Vyacheslav Butusov and others. birch bark and how to make it Aishon - a high cone-shaped hat on a leather or birch bark base, lined with canvas, decorated with coins and various pendants.
It is a traditional female headdress of the Udmurts.
and took third place. They won the Eurovision 2012 qualifying round with the song Party for Everybody, the music for which was written by the group's co-producer Viktor Drobysh, the words in Udmurt belong to the grandmothers themselves, and the English text was created by the poetess Mary Susan Applegate, who works with Modern Talking and Kylie Minogue. At the end of May in Baku they will represent Russia at this competition.

Also in Soviet time, in 1939, in the village of Buranovo, they first closed, and at the end of 1940 they completely destroyed the Trinity Church, where the founder of Udmurt literature, the famous teacher and ethnographer Grigory Vereshchagin, served. The dream of the Buranovsky grandmothers is to build a temple in their native village. And, perhaps, this is the main incentive that leads grandmothers to the stage. The grandmothers also hope that their popularity will stimulate the development of the Udmurt language and culture.

In the rural club of the village of Buranovo, grandmothers opened a museum on their own, the main exhibits of which are 200-year-old scarves.
The national costumes of grandmothers, in which they perform, have their own centuries-old history. They were not sewn to order, but were kept for a long time in the chests of the inhabitants of Buranovo. For example, the dresses are hand-sewn from natural linen, and they are about a hundred years old, and the decorations on the neck - ">monisto" - are made of silver coins, some of which date back to the 18th century.

Olga Nikolaevna Tuktareva

Director Buranovsky rural House of Culture and artistic director collective "Buranovskiye Babushki". Graduated from the Perm Institute of Culture. Author of a large number of translations of songs into the Udmurt language. Very sincere and subtle nature. At the same time, she does not forget about the household - her family already in April eats fresh cucumbers from their own greenhouse.
Two children.

Ekaterina Semyonovna Shklyaeva

The tuning fork of the collective - the tonality is checked on it. Leaves the most delicious cabbage. There is always bread for birds in her pockets: wherever grandmothers come on tour, she feeds pigeons, sparrows or ducks everywhere. When I was in the 4th grade, Ekaterina Semyonovna's mother fell ill. Therefore, I had to leave school and take on all the work around the house. Worked for the legendary Izhevsk Mechanical Plant, then in Perm region at the construction site painter-plasterer. She got married there, but after 6 years her husband died. returned to native village and worked until her retirement collective farm in the village of Buranovo.
Raised 3 children. There are 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Valentina Semyonovna Pyatchenko

In the team she is called "shirpi", in Russian - mouse. She is so quiet. First she learned to be a seamstress, then she graduated from the Faculty of History and Philology of the Udmurt Pedagogical Institute. 21 years of experience teacher of Russian language and literature in Turkmenistan, where her husband was sent to serve. But family life, unfortunately, did not work out, and in 1984 Valentina Semyonovna returned with her children to her native village of Buranovo, where she worked at a school until her retirement.
In 1998, while working on a circular saw, she lost right hand(before going on stage he puts on a prosthesis). Over time, she learned to do everything herself: sew on a typewriter, bake pies and cook nai. delicious jam from pumpkin and zucchini.
She raised 2 sons, one of whom died tragically. Has 2 grandchildren.

Natalya Yakovlevna Pugacheva

The oldest participant in the Eurovision Song Contest in its entire history. She studied at school for only one year, then the war began - there was no time for studying. All her life she worked on a collective farm in the village of Buranovo. They say about such people: small, but remote. Indeed, it does everything! And he also has a great sense of humor.
Raised 4 children. She also has 3 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. And the beloved husband is grandfather Athanasius, who sometimes does not let his wife go to the ensemble rehearsals.

Granya Ivanovna Baysarova

By profession a painter-plasterer, tiler. Worked for Izhevsk Machine Building Plant. In 1975, she moved with her family to Buranovo, where she worked as a milkmaid for 20 years. She knits every free minute. Beautiful stockings in which grandmothers go on stage, her creation.
She raised 6 children who gave her 8 grandchildren. There is a great granddaughter.

Zoya Sergeevna Dorodova

By profession a baker. She worked in the Buranovo bakery, as a milkmaid on a collective farm. Having married in the village of Babino, she worked as a cook and manager school cafeteria. After the death of her husband, she returned back to Buranovo and worked as a cook at the Geofizika company until retirement.
The most sedate and laconic member of the team. If you need to cook lunch on trips, then Zoya Sergeevna does it.
She raised a daughter who gave her 2 grandchildren.

Galina Nikolaevna Koneva

The core of the team and the generator of ideas. It is not for nothing that her friends call her "mush muma", in Russian - queen bee. If she lived in the city, she would certainly become a statesman.
She graduated from the Sarapul Preschool Pedagogical College. All her life she worked as a kindergarten teacher. From a young age he has been performing on stage amateur performances and for only two years she has not participated in ski competitions - Galina Nikolaevna has the 1st adult category in cross-country skiing.
Raised 3 children. There are 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Alevtina Gennadievna Begisheva

All her life she worked as an accountant and only for the last 4 years she has been managing the museum in the Buranovsky House of Culture. She changed her job not by chance: the whole family collected antiques. So the family hobby became a profession. It was thanks to her that it was possible to collect many costumes for grandmothers. And for all the members of the team, her husband, Ilya Begishev, wove real bast shoes from linden bast. Alevtina Gennadievna - an accountant in life - loves clarity and order in everything. She loves to solve Sudoku puzzles.
Three kids.

Age: 87 years old

12 years ago she wrote the triumphal song "Long-long birch bark and how to make an aishon out of it." With this song, grandmothers performed at the Russian Eurovision selection round in 2010 and took 3rd place. Baba Liza, as everyone calls her, she herself would gladly go to Moscow and Eurovision, but the years are not the same.

Nikolai Grigorievich Zarbatov

(not in the photo)

Age: 55 years old

Accompanist of Buranovskiye Babushki. We do not see him on the big stage, because, as a rule, live musical accompaniment is not required there. But he has always been and remains part of the team. It's a human orchestra! He plays the guitar, button accordion, harmonica, domra, etc. Surprisingly, he took up music seriously only at the age of 30. Prior to that, I was a driver for 10 years.
3 children and 3 grandchildren.

The scandal surrounding the change of team in the Buranovskiye Babushki group from Udmurtia does not subside. Some diligently defend the position of those same grandmothers who became famous throughout the country, becoming the silver medalists of Eurovision 2012 in Baku. Others are trying to understand the producer, who wants to continue the project started so successfully.

“The new line-up was chosen on the basis of territoriality, vociferousness and the ability to behave on stage”

At the end of August of this year, information appeared that the producer of the band, Ksenia Rubtsova, decided to renew the line-up. It also included grandmothers, but others. Former soloists state academic ensemble song and dance of Udmurtia "Italmas" and the republican theater of folk song "Aikai" Anna Prokopyeva and Valentina Serebrennikova. And also Ekaterina Antonova, ex-head of the Arganchi ensemble of harmonists from the Malopurginsky district of Udmurtia.

For 5 years of performances, the team emotionally fizzled out. Especially over the past two years, when the schedule of performances was especially tight, - says Svetlana Syrygina, press secretary of Buranovsky Babushki radio Komsomolskaya Pravda - Izhevsk (wave 107.6 FM). - During this time, grandmothers traveled all over Russia, visited many countries of the world. A young artist will also get tired of such a rhythm, and even more so an elderly one. The team is in demand. Therefore, the producer decided to rejuvenate. But I would like to emphasize that we are always glad to see the former line-up in the new ranks.

AT new composition in addition to professional artists, original grannies also entered. True, they are not from Buranovo, but from Ludorvay ( village near Izhevsk. - Approx. author). They were selected by the current artistic director of the group, Anna Prokopyeva.

Ksenia Rubtsova suggested that I gather people, - says Anna Nikolaevna. - It was possible, of course, to collect grandmothers from all over Udmurtia. But technically it would be difficult to find one time for rehearsals with them. Therefore, we settled on Ludorwei. They have good voices, they know how to work with the audience and move well.

By the way, since September, the new team has been touring Russia under the Buranovskiye Babushki brand. There are 8 people performing so far. But the plans are to recruit about 30 artists.

The resentment of the old composition has not yet passed

Despite the producer's understandable behavior, old composition flatly refused to perform with the new one on the same stage. Grandmothers were offended, they say, steel was not needed. And the temple, for the construction of which they gave their fees, was never completed.

- “Buranovskiye Babushki” is our name and how can we take it away from us? This is us. Let the second team succeed. We do not wish them anything bad. Let them record new songs, do worthwhile things that deserve respect. They are going to hold a festival in the Kremlin - very a good idea, - tells the first artistic director of the group Olga Tuktareva.- At first, the grandmothers were offended that the new line-up sings with our voices. We understand that under copyright law we do not have the right to be called Buranovskiye Babushki. Let the new team protect this name just like we do.

Apparently, the storm of misunderstanding in the old line-up is slowly subsiding. Grandmothers say that they now feel free, and life is becoming calmer.

The path I have traveled has taught me a lot: both self-awareness and creativity. Many thanks to Xenia for everything she has done. It was good school. And she did everything very well, only she stumbled on the last steps. But she is still young, - said Tuktareva. - We will continue to perform, because we need another 5 million to complete the construction of the temple.

So far, the old team, indeed, has no time to lose heart. On October 12, they held the first divine service in the new church. But there is still a lot of work to be done. The official opening of the church will most likely take place before the end of the year.

Natalya Pugacheva will perform with a new team, and the song Party for everybody will get a new sound

By the way, there are pleasant moments in this cultural castling. For example, the smallest songstress of the Buranovskiye Babushki group, Natalya Pugacheva, will still appear at concerts.

This is the only grandmother from the old line-up who, despite her age and illness, agreed to perform with the new line-up, says Svetlana Syrygina. - It is clear that she will not take part in every concert, and will go on stage for only a couple of songs.

Recall that Pugacheva in March of this year underwent a difficult operation to remove a cancerous tumor.

Also, now the new line-up is working on updating the repertoire and phonograms. Well, the audience, this year is waiting for an updated version of the main hit of the team.

The song Party for everybody will definitely remain in our repertoire, - said Anna Prokopieva. - It's a branded song. And if at the first concert the backing vocals of the phonograms were still played by grandmothers from the old line-up, now we are completely rewriting the phonogram. Well, we are working on writing new songs. I think that in the future there will be new hits.

So the hit from Eurovision will be re-recorded with the participation of chamber choir"Biscuit" from St. Petersburg. In the new arrangement, for the first time, residents of ... Vienna will be able to appreciate the song, where a band from Udmurtia will perform on October 31 at a folklore festival.

There are many plans for this year. We will spend a lot of time on tour and in recording studios. Residents of Udmurtia will be able to see our concerts only next year, says Prokopyeva. - On October 26 we are going to Moscow to record phonograms - for the anniversary of Nadezhda Kadysheva, for Statehood Day, for the New Year. In November we will perform in Moscow at a concert by Alexandra Pakhmutova, for the police.

Well, the main event of the year - the festival "Buranovskiye Babushki" - will be held on December 7 at the State Kremlin Palace. It will be held as part of the opening of the Year of Udmurtia in Moscow. Other groups from Udmurtia, regions of Russia, as well as popular Russian artists, world stars will take part in the concert.

BY THE WAY

Recording of the broadcast of radio "Komsomolskaya Pravda - Izhevsk" (107.6 FM) with the participation of the new artistic director of "Buranovskiye Babushki" Anna Prokopieva and press secretary of the group Svetlana Syrygina

About 30 kilometers from Izhevsk, a small village of Buranovo, where 670 people live, hid between the hills.

8 of them will perform in Baku at the Eurovision final on Saturday. They will have to defend the honor of Russia in this prestigious competition.

"Buranovskiye Babushki" have lived in Buranovo all their lives, and some for most of it. They sang, as they say, as long as they remember themselves. Composition under star name formed relatively recently, in 2000. They sang Tsoi and Grebenshchikov in Udmurt, then - songs from the repertoire of the Beatles, Eagles and received recognition throughout the country.

Actually, main secret The success of the "Buranovskiye Babushki" - their originality, sincerity and purity of images - is visible, as they say, to the naked eye. What kind of artists are on stage, they are like that in life - simple, kind and real.

On the eve of the most important performances in the career of Buranovsky Babushki, RG correspondents visited the singers, asked them about their life, families and hobbies.

Hospitable grandmothers (RG-Nedelya told about some of them in the issue of March 22 this year) willingly acted as interviewees and told all the secrets about themselves.

Mother of many children sings, embroiders and knits

Granya Ivanovna Baysarova was born on June 12, 1949. By profession - plasterer-painter, tiler. After graduating from college, she worked for some time at the Izhevsk Machine Plant.

We have always loved to sing. When they worked as painters, the songs were bawled out to the entire entrance, in which they were doing repairs! - Granya Ivanovna recalls and adds: - Now they probably don’t sing like that.

In 1976, she moved with her family to Buranovo, where she worked as a milkmaid for 20 years. Granya Ivanovna had a big break in her work, when two sons, one after another, went to serve in the army, in Chechnya. They returned safe and sound, and my mother sang again.

Craftswoman of all trades - knits, embroiders, weaves. She always has yarn and knitting needles with her. Almost all grandmothers knit colored stockings for performances.

She raised six children, eight grandchildren and a great-granddaughter are growing up.

Bast shoes from the Begishevs

All her life she worked as an accountant at the Buranovsky state farm. After leaving the state farm, she created a museum in the local House of Culture. Although the museum is unofficial, Alevtina Gennadievna keeps a record of all the exhibits that she collects herself and with the help of her fellow villagers. Such a character - everything should be in order.

One boy brought an old iron, - says Alevtina Begisheva, - he thought we would give him money, and when he found out that the House of Culture had no money, he was very upset, but he did not take the iron back. And one man brought a three-kilogram mammoth tooth. Although he has nothing to do with the old way of life, I assigned him a number and show it to everyone.

And the husband of Alevtina Gennadievna weaves bast shoes for the whole team. The Begishevs raised three children.

Chef for the whole team

Zoya Sergeevna Dorodova was born on April 15, 1940 in Buranovo. She worked as a baker in Buranovsky bakery. She got married and left for the village of Babino (also in Udmurtia). There she worked as a cook and head of the school cafeteria. After the death of her husband, she returned to Buranovo and worked as a cook in the canteen of geologists until her retirement.

The most sedate and laconic member of the team. On trips, he always cooks lunch for everyone. He lives in Buranovo with his daughter and two grandchildren.

Idea's generator

Galina Nikolaevna Koneva was born on October 15, 1938. She graduated from the Sarapul Preschool Pedagogical College. Worked for several years in orphanage. She returned to her native village and could no longer leave - she tightened Kindergarten. Until the age of 60, she worked as a teacher. Then she reluctantly retired and found new hobbies for herself: she began to sew clothes for dolls, took on the role of the "senior" in the village. He remembers how a couple of years ago in the village they almost opened " night club". Having a clear educational idea and fortitude, Galina Nikolaevna achieved a ban on opening a cafe.

We'd better build a temple, it's important for the upbringing of the younger generation. We don't need any cafes to get people drunk! Let the youth pray to God, says Koneva. Galina Nikolaevna is the core of the team and the generator of ideas. She raised three children, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The oldest breeds "locksmiths"

Natalya Yakovlevna Pugacheva, the oldest of the Buranovsky Babushki, will turn 77 this year. She was born on November 28, 1935, not far from Buranovo, in the village of Chutozhmon (literally translated from Udmurt as "I came lame from the war"). She managed to finish only the first grade of school, as the war began. Then there was no time for studying. She worked all her life on the Buranovsky collective farm. Natalya-apai (translated from Udmurt - grandmother Natalya), as they call her in the team, loves pets and flowers very much. Now she and her husband keep a cow and breed chickens with guinea fowl, which Natalya Yakovlevna calls "my locksmiths."

Natalya Pugacheva is an excellent cook. On her table are always amazing pies, baked goods and cookies. She has an amazing sense of humor, always smiling and agile.

Four children, three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Tuning fork for ensemble

Ekaterina Semyonovna Shklyaeva was born on November 2, 1937, not far from Buranovo, in a village that no longer exists. I finished my studies only up to the 4th grade, as I had to become the eldest for my brothers and sisters, when my mother became seriously ill, and my father was taken to the front.

Then she worked at the Izhevsk Mechanical Plant, as a plasterer-painter at a construction site in the Perm Region. After 6 years, when her husband died, she came back to Buranovo.

In the team, the tonality is checked on it.

She raised three children, five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

One left

Valentina Semyonovna Pyatchenko was born on October 21, 1937 in Buranovo. She graduated from the eight-year school and went to Sarapul to study as a seamstress. After graduating from college, she continued her studies at the Udmurt Pedagogical Institute. She received a philological education, got married and left for Krasnovodsk, where her husband, a military man, was appointed by appointment.

After the divorce, she returned to Buranovo with two sons, one of whom died at the age of 17.

Valentina Semyonovna lost her right hand while working on a circular saw (she goes on stage with a prosthesis). Nevertheless, she does an excellent job with the housework and with one hand: she digs up a garden, picks berries, makes delicious jam and even sews on a sewing machine. Previously, it was she who sewed dresses for the team.

Valentina Pyatchenko is especially proud of her strawberry "plantation": there are enough berries for sale and for jam, which she makes in large quantities and distributes to all city friends, colleagues, and relatives.

Valentina Semyonovna has a son and two grandchildren.

Director of Success

Olga Nikolaevna Tuktareva is the artistic director of the "Buranovskiye Babushki", the director of the Buranovsky House of Culture, the author of translations of songs into the Udmurt language.

She was born on April 26, 1968 in the village of Puro-Mozhga near Buranov. Graduated from the Perm Institute of Culture. Moreover, when she came to enter, she spoke Russian very poorly. I decided to study as a director, not even knowing what this word means.

I was offered to enter the methodologist, librarian and director. I chose the latter - I really liked the word! - said Olga Tuktareva.

Her main hobby, besides the Buranovskiye Babushki ensemble, is children's theatre studio, which Olga Nikolaevna organized at the local House of Culture. In the DC, the artistic director practically spends the day and sleeps. And the husband at this time is engaged in greenhouses and in April he will treat the whole family with fresh cucumbers. The couple are raising two children.
