Pictures from dry flowers and leaves. Master class "Autumn landscape" (from autumn leaves)

Oshibana - ancient art Japan. Available master classes allows you to quickly master this technique, and you can create picturesque paintings from flowers.

What is wrong?

This word came to us from Japan, where this art form was first born more than six hundred years ago. Oshibana is called flat floristry. Pressed natural materials are used as the main material. It can be:
  • dried flowers;
  • dried leaves;
  • grass;
  • tree branches;
  • seeds;
  • fruit;
  • Poplar fluff;
  • sometimes - dried fruits and vegetables.
This natural material is dried by placing a load on top. First, paper is placed on a sheet of plywood, and straightened plants are placed on it. Then, paper is placed on top again, and plywood is placed on top of it. On which you need to put a load and dry the herbarium for a week.

Change the paper to fresh paper daily to dry the plants. And the damp one - clean it up.

When the natural material dries, iron it through a double layer of gauze. Prepared materials are glued to a thick fabric or paper.

A distinctive feature of mistaken is that plant materials practically retain their original color, they do not fade. This is achieved by pumping out the air between the work and the glass covering it. In such a vacuum, the material is better preserved. Now you can also buy various devices in the form of mini-pumps from us in order to apply this technique and make your work durable.

You can first come up with a theme for the work, choose material for it, or create a composition from what you already have. When you have prepared everything you need, you can proceed.

Oshibana - flower painting workshop

To create such a picturesque picture, you will need:
  • dried pansy flowers;
  • dried leaves;
  • PVA glue;
  • brushes;
  • tweezers;
  • a sheet of cardboard;
  • White paper.
If you have white cardboard, leave it as it is, if it is gray, then you need to glue a sheet of white paper on top. Draw on it the features of the future landscape, taking a simple pencil.

Very carefully, using tweezers and a thin brush, you will transfer the pansies smeared with glue to the prepared place. Blot excess glue with a napkin.

AT this case, flowers occupy the corner of the space. Glue larger ones closer to the corner, then smaller flowers follow. Decorate them with thin leaves or under dried grass.

In another part of the composition is a butterfly. Make her wings out of reddish aspen leaves, and draw her body with black gouache. Using the same composition, make a fringing for the wings.

When the glue dries, you can frame the picture. If you want, you can pre-coat it with varnish.

In the technique of mistaken, you can create not only paintings, but also decorations. See how the following is formed.

How to make a flower decoration with your own hands - technique

Here is what you will use for this:
  • epoxy resin;
  • dried plant;
  • accessories.
Follow these steps:
  1. You can use a stencil or use a medallion blank to pour resin into. First prepare this substance as it is written in the instructions for this material.
  2. If you are using a stencil, then lay it on a flat, clean surface, covering it with a file on top. Then you can pour epoxy here in small portions and distribute it with a toothpick. Now it is very important to prevent dust and dirt from getting on the dry surface. To do this, it is covered with a lid on top.
  3. When the resin dries a little, put the prepared dried flower in it and fill it with resin on top. Then this semi-finished product must also be covered with a lid to prevent dust from entering.
  4. When the locket is dry, but still plastic, make a hole at the top with an awl to insert the fittings here. Attach a chain to it to wear such beauty around your neck.

If you decide to get serious about making jewelry out of flowers and resin, then you can buy special molds that will make the job easier.

But back to the classic mistake. Watch master classes that will help beginners master the interesting art of Japanese masters.

Obogan Flowers Paintings: Easy Workshops for Beginners

To create canvases, it is not necessary to use only flowers and leaves. These decorative elements can decorate, for example, photographs loved one and give him such an author's portrait.

To carry out the work, you need to prepare the following materials:

  • photograph of a person;
  • colored paper;
  • scissors;
  • glue;
  • dried flowers and leaves;
  • tinsel;
  • colored pencils or paints;
  • a sheet of cardboard;
  • frame.
Manufacturing master class:
  1. If you want to dress the heroine of the portrait at your discretion, for example, so that the dress is antique, then you will need to cut it out of paper of the desired color. But first draw its outlines.
  2. Glue a portrait on the top of the picture, and a dress below. Arrange dried small flowers in a bouquet, glue its elements so that the heroine of the composition holds this beauty.
  3. Oshibana also allows you to create outfit details, for example, such a hat. It consists of one large leaf, small flowers and stems. You can decorate the headdress with a piece of fur or feathers.
  4. You will also create a beautiful skirt from flowers. You can take tulips for this. Make a tinsel trim. Glue on the panel various decorations flowers or paper.

Another beauty created using the mistaken technique will turn out if you use flowers.

  1. To complete this work, you will need to pre-dry the iris petals, pansies and various other small flowers. Draw on cardboard the outlines of the future beauty on cardboard with a simple pencil.
  2. Taking the leaves of the iris, glue them to the appropriate place. You can also cut out the back for the top of the dress from iris. The sleeves are made from lighter petals, you can even use roses.
  3. Make a decoration for the head from pansies. Put smaller flowers in the hands of the girl so that they make up a bouquet. You can use the same composition idea as in the photo. Where the girl seems to be looking in the mirror, so it is illuminated from two angles.

You can also create a magic fairy using the mistaken technique. She is almost all flowers, even her butterfly. Draw the facial features with a colored pencil, also use a brown pencil to draw the body of an insect.

Collect different leaves with your children in the fall so that you can make beautiful compositions from them in winter. From large ones you will make picturesque hills, and small ones will turn into leaves various trees. On the foreground you can glue small flowers that will become a picturesque meadow.

If you have a lot of flowers, then dry them in the shade on a flat surface as described at the beginning of the article. See what they should look like.

As you can see, this plant material must retain its colors. Now you can make, for example, a vase of flowers. This craft is great for beginners.

Create a vase from colored paper. Glue the flowers on top so that they form a bouquet, and the cardboard almost does not show through them.

The art of the mistaken is the use of other materials as well. For example, you can take birch bark, remove the top layer from it and apply it. See what beautiful roofs of houses you get.

If you want to do winter compositions, then the roof will look snowy if you use birch bark. But you can create an autumn landscape from these materials. In this case, large leaves will become the outlines of the bushes, and small ones will show off on the trees.

The picture is mistaken from natural materials

At first glance, it is difficult to guess what this picture is made of. Look at exactly what natural materials were used to make the work using the mistaken technique. Check out what paints for work can be obtained from certain plants:
  1. White - from the leaves of thin corn cobs.
  2. Gray - from the leaves of silvery poplar.
  3. Light gray - from cineraria.
  4. Dark gray - from sedge leaves that lay on the ground and darkened.
  5. Yellow - from the leaves of a young willow or autumn leaves of various trees.
  6. Red - from hazel leaves.
  7. Red - out autumn leaves maple, viburnum or other trees and shrubs.
  8. Brown - from oak leaves.
  9. Green - from dried currant leaves.
  10. Blue is delphinium petals.
  11. Sea water can be created in the picture if you use the leaves of a young silver willow, and river water can be created from poplar leaves.

To get a dark brown color, scrape the pulp from the banana skin, completely dry the remaining skin.

But what auxiliary materials and equipment will be needed to create a picturesque composition of leaves. It:
  • PVA glue, but not stationery, but for working with wood;
  • cardboard;
  • tweezers;
  • scalpel;
  • tassel;
  • scissors.

Using a thin simple pencil, outline the outlines of the future picture on the cardboard. Draw a horizon line, indicate where the house, mountain, tree will be located.

Now start filling with plant material first the background and the largest objects. Take the leaves with tweezers, grease one side with glue and apply to the right place.

Once you've completed this part of the job, move on to the smaller elements. Also glue them to the designated place. If you need to create the smallest details, such as highlights, shadows, then cut the leaves desired color scissors and glue them on.

See if everything suits? Perhaps somewhere more plant material needs to be added. Do it.

When the picture from natural materials is completely created, put it under the press overnight. When it dries, it's time to frame it with glass. It will not allow dust to settle on the work and make the material more durable.

Floral painting - technique

Trees and shrubs will bloom in spring. Don't miss this time. Have time to collect crumbled flowers to use them in paintings.

See how wonderful cherry blossoms look. It will be enough just to dry them and you can create just such a floristic composition using the mistaken technique. Pre-take cardboard more dark color, for example, blue. Then the white petals will be clearly visible against this background.

Still unblown buds you will make from petals that need to be cut to the shape of this part of the plant or take real buds.

If you have an apricot or apple tree that blooms with pink flowers, then use this natural material. It will turn out a gentle picture that will decorate any room. A bird can be made from feathers and glued to a branch.

You can take pelargonium flowers, which retain their original color for a long time. But dry them as quickly as possible to avoid losing a bright shade.

Oshibana involves the use of a variety of natural materials. Look what interesting job works if you apply them.

Do-it-yourself painting "Mill" from natural materials

To get such a composition, you need to take:
  • tweezers;
  • scissors;
  • medical syringe without a needle;
  • sharp knives, like a scalpel;
  • gouache;
  • watermelon bones;
  • pieces of apple bark, cherry;
  • bamboo sticks for the frame;
  • small pebbles, sea sand, crushed stone;
  • thin branches of trees;
  • fine vegetable mesh.
First you need to print the outline of the windmill on a piece of paper.

Mix blue gouache and glue in a ratio of 1:10 and apply this solution with a sponge to the base. Use burlap as a base by gluing it to cardboard.

Stick moss on the walls of the mill using PVA.

Make the blades of the mill from thin twigs of viburnum. To do this, draw glue into a medical syringe without a needle, squeeze this substance into the place indicated on the canvas and attach the twigs.

Cut the watermelon pits in half crosswise to show their white inside. These "bricks" will help create the front wall of the mill. Do this masonry by placing natural material in a checkerboard pattern.

And you will create a side wall from seeds, the untouched part of which must be placed towards the audience. In this case, the cut edge will be on the canvas.

From thin branches, lay out a frame for the window.

Attach flat pebbles to the corners of the walls with glue.

Cut the bark of a cherry or apple tree into strips and glue them to the roof, starting from the bottom. Moreover, the upper elements of the tile should cover the lower ones by about half a centimeter.

Generously grease the lower part of the work with glue and pour sea sand or small pebbles here.

Transform the vegetable net into a fishing net, as if it were hung to dry in the sun.

Draw clouds with white gouache or glue poplar fluff.

Dried work can be framed using bamboo stalks or other natural materials.

That's what she is - mistaken, allowing you to make amazing paintings from flowers and other natural materials. It is interesting to watch the creation of such works.

We offer you to see how a picture is created using the technique of mistaken.

Oshibana or oshibana is a kind of floristry, the art of creating pictures from natural materials dried under pressure: flower petals, green and yellow leaves, stems and seeds of herbs.

The material for creating a picture must be prepared, i.e. collected and dried. Flowers, leaves, grass, seeds, fluff are collected and dried under pressure or in a herbarium folder so that they become flat. Leaves and flowers often change their color. To obtain the desired shade, heat treatment or other methods of preserving natural beauty are sometimes used. It is important to know which plant, at what time of the year it is better to collect. In addition, you need to collect plants in clear weather so that the plants are not wet.

How to dry plants?

1. In paper press

You can dry the flowers and leaves in a thick book, between the leaves of tracing paper. If you need a voluminous flower - in a box with sand (chamomile can be dried this way by gently pouring the flower with sand), the dandelion is dried at the opening stage, head down, as soon as the white fluffy head opens, sprinkle with hairspray.

If you do not strive to preserve the natural color of the plants, you can dry them with an iron, placing them between two sheets of paper. Only the iron should not be too hot, otherwise the leaves will become very brittle. It is better to iron them with a barely warm iron 3-4 times with an interval of several hours, so as not to overdry.

3. In the microwave

The herbarium can be dried in the microwave, but the leaves do not always remain even and smooth, so it will be difficult to stick them.

4. In glycerin

Plants dried in glycerin will retain their shape well, but will acquire a greenish-brown hue, however, for decorative panel they can be painted.

Dilute glycerin (available in pharmacies) in hot water in a ratio of 1:3. Pour the resulting solution into a container at least 6-10 cm deep, lower the plants vertically, leave for a few days until they darken, then dry.

Little tricks when drying a herbarium:

1. With proper drying, the top of the whole plant with stem and leaves should not lean down.

2. To make the leaves denser, dip them into a solution of 20% PVA glue and water.

3. Flower buds can be dried in sand poured into cardboard box. Of the flowers, dried red dahlias or delphinium retain their color better than others.

4. To keep bluish or bluish leaves retain their hue when dried, dip them for 1 minute in denatured alcohol.

Store plant material in airtight containers, protected from direct sunlight, moisture and moths. Ready-made Oshiban paintings can also fade and change their color over time, so it is advisable to frame them under glass and not keep them in the sun.

Artists attach (glue) dried plant material to the base (cardboard, fabric, wood), while the author creates a painting with the help of plants. That is, mistaken - this is painting with flowers, plants.

The art of oshigan originated in Japan about six hundred years ago. In Europe, this type of arts and crafts was widespread in Victorian era. In recent decades, the mistake has experienced a rebirth.

Floral artists perform in technique mistaken not only ornaments, landscapes, still lifes, but also portraits and narrative paintings.

Despite the seeming simplicity, the technique of mistaken allows you to create simply amazing pictures. We invite you to enjoy them with us.

Hello Dear friends! Putting aside my decorations, I decided to relax a little and plunge into the world of my favorite floristry. Outside gold autumn and I brought for you a new variety of roses with the same name "Golden Autumn"))).

Of course, this is not a real rose, but a rose made of leaves. I use aspen leaves because they look the most like rose petals. In floristry, flowers collected in this way are called glamelia. Whoever is not familiar with this name, I will explain, this is when a large flower is collected from individual flower petals (roses, lilies, gladiolus, etc.), each of which is planted on a wire.

And so let's get started.

We will need:

1. Aspen leaves of different sizes and different colors

2. Thin wire, I use floral stock

3. Floral tape

4 Scissors

To begin with, you need to choose about 30-35 leaves of various colors, evenly increasing. They must be fresh (it is much more difficult to work with dried leaves), clean (if the leaves are dusty, rinse them under water)

Chose, well, now you need to cut the petiole from each leaf.

Now we will prepare the wire by cutting it into pieces of 8-10 cm in an amount equal to our leaves.

Now we are preparing the teip tape, tear pieces of 4-5 cm in the same amount as the wire

Alright, now let's get to work.

I start from the largest petal. We take the largest sheet and thread the wire through it, about 0.5-0.7 cm from the bottom edge

We bend the wire, we do everything very carefully so as not to tear the sheet.

Now we take the teip tape and apply one end to the wire from the front side and clamp the whole thing between the fingers. Under the warmth of the hands, the teip tape will slightly stick to the leaf

Now we need to wrap the entire wire with teip tape. To do this, we begin to slightly stretch and wrap the base of the leaf and the stem of the wire with teip tape.

Here's what it should look like (front side)

Wrong side

To make sure everything is done correctly, turn the leaf horizontally, it should hold tightly on our artificial handle.

Thus, we make cuttings to the rest of the leaves, except for the smallest one.

Now take the smallest leaf

We roll the leaf into a narrow envelope

We take the wire and pierce all the layers of the envelope

bend the wire, as on the other sheets

We take a teip tape and wrap our stalk

Here are all our petals of the future rose

Well, the first stage is finished, let's start assembling

We take the core and the leaf next in size to it (the leaf at the base of the handle is slightly bent back, the promiscuity of the rose depends on the angle of the fold, the larger the angle, the more blossoming the rose will be)

We apply it to the core, as if wrapping it. We place the cuttings strictly PARALLEL

We take the next leaf and place it on the opposite side of the second petal (the core is the first leaf), as if trying to wrap the edges of the second

When all the petals are collected, you need to turn our flower over and fix the stem, to do this, wrap the leg with teip tape

Here's what we got

When the leaves dry, they will curl up and the rose will become more curly, something like this, this rose was made by me last fall

You can make such flowers any number, different sizes and colors.

How to use this is a matter of taste.

I made 2 panos from these roses (sorry for the quality of the photo)

To make the roses look more glossy, you can sprinkle them with hairspray.

You can make little men and - as a variant of one of creative competitions. Do not forget to take a picture of the crafts right away, because fresh petals will quickly fade and deform.

Flower pupae

In the yard of my childhood, mallows, or stock roses, grew. We made dolls out of them. The production is very simple. You need a thin flexible stick for the base, a few buds and mallow flowers. We string flowers on a stick in an arbitrary sequence and get a chrysalis. Any flowers and leaves are suitable for manufacturing.

Fashion images from petals

With older girls, you can do fashion - decoration.
