Drawing with children 5-6 years old. Lesson notes

From the author

Visual activity introduces the child to the world of beauty, contributes to the formation of a harmonious personality, develops creativity. In drawing classes, children master various visual means, use their imagination, convey their individual vision of objects.

Children 5-6 years old, getting to know different types visual arts(painting, graphics, sculpture), vividly perceive images. Compared to more early age their activities become more conscious. The idea begins to outstrip the image. Previously acquired visual skills are consolidated. Hand movements become more confident. AT collective work children begin to plan and coordinate their actions. At this age, it is necessary to continue to teach how to depict objects from nature and develop imagination. You should pay attention to the transfer of shapes and colors, essential details. Starting from senior group, it is necessary to teach children to tint paper, mix paints. It is useful to give children the opportunity to draw different materials(with wax and pastel crayons, charcoal pencils, sanguine, felt-tip pens) and use previously unfamiliar drawing techniques.

In this book, we provide summaries of exciting drawing lessons. Classes are arranged according to the thematic principle: the same theme permeates all classes during the week (on the world around, on the development of speech, on modeling, on applications, on drawing). Thus, children study one topic per week in all classes.

Drawing classes for children aged 5-6 are held 2 times a week; The session lasts 20-25 minutes. The manual contains 72 abstracts complex classes for the academic year (September to May).

Before class, carefully read the summary and, if something does not suit you, make changes. Prepare the necessary material and equipment. Preliminary work before class is important (reading artwork, familiarization with surrounding phenomena or viewing drawings and paintings). It is advisable to conduct a drawing lesson after the children have already sculpted and applied on the same topic.

Drawing lessons are built according to the following approximate plan.

1. Creating a game situation to attract attention and develop emotional responsiveness (surprise moments, riddles, poems, songs, nursery rhymes, fairy tale character in need of help, dramatization games, exercises for the development of memory, attention and thinking; outdoor games).

2. The process of doing the work begins with an analysis of the depicted object, the teacher's advice and the children's suggestions for doing the work (in some cases, the teacher should show the basic techniques for creating an image on a separate sheet). The teacher can direct the actions of children in need of support and help. When finalizing the picture with additional elements, you need to pay the attention of children to means of expression(for example, harmoniously matched colors).

3. Consideration of the completed work (only positive evaluation). The child should rejoice at the result and learn to evaluate his craft and the work of other children, notice new interesting solutions, see the resemblance to nature.

The theme of the week is "Protect the Forest"
Lesson 7. Leaves of trees
(Drawing with colored pencils)

Software content. Learn to draw silhouettes of leaves from life and carefully paint over them with gouache paints, smoothly moving from one color to another. Strengthen the ability to fit a drawing into a sheet. Continue learning to paint over the leaves with colored pencils, shading in one direction without gaps and increasing pressure in darker places. Develop aesthetic perception. Continue to teach to understand and analyze the content of the poem.

Handout. Dried leaves of different trees, landscape sheets, pencils and colored pencils.

Lesson progress

For this activity, ask the children to bring dried autumn leaves.

At the beginning of the lesson, read to the children I. Tokmakova's poem "Wind".

Windy, windy
The whole earth is ventilated
Wind leaves from twigs
Dispersed around the world:
Lime,
Birch,

yellow leaf
And pink
Red,
colorful,
Old sheet of newspaper.
Sunny, windy
Windy, windy!

Ask the children:

What does the wind do in the poem? (Tears leaves from trees and disperses them all over the earth.)

- So today you brought to class the leaves that the wind plucked from the trees. Let's look at them, and then draw.

Determine with the children what trees their leaves are from, what shape they are (round, elongated, carved, etc.), what color they are. Note the multi-colored leaves, on which there are several flowers at once.

Offer to draw a rounded leaf (linden, birch, aspen or alder). Show the children how to outline the shape of a leaf with a simple pencil: first a circle is drawn, divided by a line (rod) into two parts, and then the leaf is given the desired shape. An elongated leaf (willow, willow) is drawn from an oval. Then you can try to depict an oak leaf. To do this, you need to outline a rectangle, break it into stripes, draw a central line in it, and then round off each cell with waves, conveying the shape of an oak leaf.

It remains to paint over the finished leaves with colored pencils. Teach children not only to paint over leaves with one color, but also to use several colors in drawing, smoothly transitioning from one to another or overlapping one another. You can add leaves with thin veins.

Lesson 8. Fairy forest
(Drawing in gouache)

Software content. Introduce children to the genre of landscape. Learn to create an image of a magical forest in a drawing, using the unusual structure of trees, fabulous patterns. To fix the techniques of drawing with gouache. Learn to apply one color to another as it dries. Develop imagination and creativity.

Demo material. The book by Z. Ezhikova "The Mole and Paints" with illustrations.

Handout.

Lesson progress

First, introduce the children to Z. Ezhikova's fairy tale "The Mole and Paints" and illustrations for the book.

Consider images of a fairy forest. Imagine with the children how trees in a magical forest can be painted (leaves on trees can be blue, red, purple, dotted, circled; tree trunks can be intricately curved, decorated with crosses, rhombuses, multi-colored stripes, etc. )

Invite the children to come up with and draw their own fairy forest. Teach children to think through the sequence of their work so that the paint has time to dry and a different color can be applied to it. You need to start with the sky and grass, when the entire sheet is filled and the paint dries on it, you can draw fabulous trees. Tell the children that the landscape can be supplemented with fly agarics in a clearing or an owl on a tree branch.

Theme of the week "Trees and bushes"
Lesson 9. Pine
(Drawing in gouache)

Software content. Learn to draw a tree, conveying its structure (trunk, branches, needles), first with a simple pencil, and then draw up the work in color. Learn to mix paints to get different shades of the same color. Continue to learn to draw wide lines with the whole pile and thin lines with the tip of the brush. To consolidate the ability to use the sticking method.

Demo material. Reproduction of "Rye" or "Morning in a Pine Forest" painting by I. Shishkin.

Handout. Album sheets, simple pencils, brushes, gouache, palettes, jars of water, rags.

Lesson progress

Consider one of the paintings by I. Shishkin and ask:

What time of year did the artist depict in the picture? (Summer.)

- What is in the picture? What kind of pines? (Tall, mighty, strong, etc.)

Read to the children a poem by I. Tokmakova:

Pines want to grow to the sky,
They want to sweep the sky with branches,
So that during the year
The weather was clear.

Offer to portray a lonely pine tree stretching into the sky. But first you need to draw a background - the sky (it is better to use different colors: blue, blue, gray, purple).

Then a tall pine trunk is drawn in the entire sheet, from it to different sides branches stretch. The branches are short at the top, and become longer towards the middle of the trunk; there are no branches in the lower part of the trunk. On the branches, you need to draw needles with the help of sticking (the brush is pressed against the leaf with the side of the pile). In the same way, you can draw grass below, trying to use different shades of green.

Lesson 10. Apple tree
(Drawing in gouache)

Software content. Teaching children to draw a fruit tree by passing it characteristics: a trunk with branches diverging upwards. Strengthen the ability to create plot composition, fit the drawing into the sheet. Cultivate compassion and kindness

Handout. Album sheets, simple pencils, brushes, gouache, palettes, jars of water, rags.

Lesson progress

Read to the children in advance the fairy tale of V. Suteev “A bag of apples”. Today in the lesson, remember this work, based on the illustrations in the book.

Offer to draw another apple tree for the hare, next to his house. You need to draw a trunk with branches diverging from it, draw leaves and round apples in spots on the tree. Next to the tree, you can draw a hare with a bag, grass, paint over the sky.

The theme of the week is "Birds in Autumn"
Lesson 11. Pigeon
(Stroke with colored pencils)

Software content. Learn to trace the contour of the palm with a colored pencil. Learn to give to a familiar subject new look with additional details. Develop observation and imagination. Cultivate a love for birds. Continue to teach to understand and analyze the content of the poem.

Handout. Halves of landscape sheets, colored pencils.

Lesson progress

Read to the children the poem by I. Tokmakova "Doves":

Doves, doves
One two Three…
Doves have arrived
Sisari.
Sat down and chuckled
At the door.
Who will feed the crumbs
Cesarean?

Ask the children:

- Who is this poem about? (About pigeons.)

Why are the pigeons fluffed up? (They are cold and hungry.)

- Who are the "Sizari"?

Offer to draw one dove. Children need to put their palm with spread fingers on a sheet of paper and circle it around the contour with a blue or blue pencil. Then you need to finish the circled silhouette: to thumb add a beak and an eye, in the center of the palm - a wing. From the bottom of the palms - paws.

Nearby, you can draw slices of bread or seeds to feed the dove.

Lesson 12. Dymkovo duck
(Painting with gouache)

Software content. Continue to get acquainted with handicrafts, consolidate and deepen knowledge about the Dymkovo toy and its painting. Learn to distinguish and create painting elements (circles, rings, cells, dots, rhombuses, straight and wavy lines), its color system (crimson, red, green, yellow, orange, blue colors) and the composition of patterns on a bulk product. Develop visual memory.

Demo material. Dymkovo clay toys (whistles: ducks, cockerels, deer, horses; ladies in kokoshniks and hats); samples of elements of Dymkovo painting.

Handout. Ducks molded from clay in a modeling class and covered with whitewash with PVA glue, thin brushes, gouache, palettes, jars of water, rags.

Lesson progress

Tell the children about the origin Dymkovo toys: Dymkovo settlement can be seen on the bank of the Vyatka River. Here in ancient times they began to make this toy. AT winter time when people did not have work in the fields, they sculpted whistles from white clay. From a small ball, a duck, a cockerel, a turkey, a horse or a deer were obtained. Then the toy was whitewashed with milk and chalk and painted.

Together with the children, note what geometric patterns and colors the Dymkovo masters used.

Offer to become Dymkovo masters today and paint a duck. Remind you that to draw thin lines, you need to draw with the end of the bristle of the brush. It is desirable that on each table there is a sample of a painted Dymkovo toy and samples of painting elements.

Theme of the week "Colorful autumn"
Lesson 13. Colorful rain
(Watercolor painting on wet paper)

Software content. Continue to introduce the technique of drawing on wet paper. Learn to display the state of the weather (rain) using unconventional technique. Develop a sense of color, convey the colors and shades of autumn. Strengthen the ability to draw with paints. Continue to teach to understand and analyze the content of the poem.

Handout. Sheets of watercolor paper, watercolor paints, wide and thin soft brushes, jars of water, rags.

Lesson progress

Read to the children Y. Akim's poem "Autumn":

Rain, rain
All day
Drumming on glass.
The whole earth
All earth
Wet from water...

Ask the children:

- What is this poem about? (About rainy autumn.)

Decide with the children what colors rainy autumn has. (Yellow, orange, red, green, brown, grey, blue.)

Suggest painting a rainy autumn using these colors. Let the children think about how to depict rain (draw on a wet sheet).

It is necessary to apply water to the landscape sheet with a wide brush. Then, on a thin brush, dial watercolor paint and touch it to a sheet of paper in several places. The dot will start to expand. Free places need to be filled with spreading dots of other colors.

Probably, many mothers would like their children to attend an art studio or a circle. It's really cool, it's development, learning new things and just having fun. But not always and not everyone has such an opportunity. The reasons may be different: the lack of an art studio in the place of residence, lack of time if parents are at work most of the day, lack of finances, and many, many other reasons.

We are no exception, we also have certain circumstances, so I will sometimes draw with my children at home myself. If you wish, join. I will choose simple, but at the same time, bright and interesting pictures, made in a technique that will be within the power of children.
You say it's difficult. No, it just seems. Try it and you will succeed.

Our today's work is dictated by the assignment to school - to draw autumn.
We chose from the following pictures.

And we settled on this one - it does not contain many small and difficult to implement elements, it is drawn with the help of large strokes.

The author of these extraordinary paintings Leonid Afremov (Leonid Afremov).
His works can be viewed on the artist's website http://afremov.com/ or in Google at the link
Perhaps for yourself you will choose something else from the works of this author.

The pictures are painted in oil, but we will paint in gouache.

For drawing we use thick paper for watercolor. We don’t have special tools, so we will fix the paper and the sample of the picture printed on the printer using construction paper tape on a wooden drawing tablet.
One set on each side) Two children will draw. They chose the same picture)

For drawing, we need brushes of different sizes, mainly a flat bristle brush No. 10 will be used, for lines - round No. 3.
Paints - gouache TM Luch, we use 5-7 colors (you can take one yellow, we have three of them).

Before you start drawing with gouache, you need to make a light marking of the field of the future picture with a pencil. I did it myself. This is our first picture, I wanted the children to succeed, so that the picture was close to the original, and this gave them self-confidence and aroused a desire to draw further.

We start with the background. We select a small amount of white paint and tint it blue color. We paint over the necessary areas with strokes.

We breed paints in a plastic palette with cells.

The sky - light blue, then add blue paint and paint over the perspective field in the distance and the path. Foreground- almost undiluted blue paint. We draw everything with strokes, carefully look at the original and try to repeat.

I did not photograph the result after the phased application of blue and red-orange-yellow paint (alas.
In the photo below, there are already three color fields applied - blue, yellow-red and green. After applying each field, a break was made to allow the paint to dry. They washed the sour and the palette. Well, the children rested a little, for them, out of habit, this is a big and hard work.

It turns out interesting, they draw almost the same)

The next step is to draw tree trunks with brown paint using a thin brush (I outlined the position of the base of the trunks with a pencil + the children made a little gag).

And now let's get to the interesting work- put yellow, green and red paint into the cells of the palette, dip the brush mainly in yellow paint and only slightly touch the edges of red and green, and make leaves with strokes.

After that we draw lanterns - brown and white paint.

It's starting to look a little like the original.

I drew the figure of the girl with a pencil, the children, fearing that they would not be able to cope, fell into a stupor. They painted the girl white and red.

Then, under my strict guidance, glare was applied to the puddles with white paint. Here are the finished pictures.

The children are the same and the pictures also turned out to be almost the same)

The first experience was a success. We want to continue.

Dandelions with gouache step by step for children from 5 years old. Master class with step by step photo

Master class in gouache painting from 5 years old "Dandelions". Color streamers

Author: Natalya Aleksandrovna Ermakova, Lecturer, Municipal Budgetary educational institution additional education children "Children's art school named after A. A. Bolshakov, city of Velikie Luki, Pskov region.
Description: the master class is intended for children from 5 years old and their parents, educators, teachers of additional education.
Purpose: interior decoration, gift, drawing for exhibitions and competitions.
Target: creation decorative composition"Dandelions" in gouache technique.
Tasks:
- to acquaint children with the features of gouache, technique and methods of working with paints, their distinctive features from watercolor;
- teach different ways gouache works: applying a stroke, working with several colors at the same time, creating color stretches;
- to promote the development of observation, logical thinking, the ability to analyze, draw conclusions;
- to cultivate interest in working in gouache technique, the ability to apply the acquired knowledge in practical work.

Hello dear friends and guests! I bring to your attention a master class on working with a unique pictorial material - gouache. It is widely used in visual activity is an affordable and easy to use material.
You can paint with heavily diluted gouache in the watercolor technique, or you can master the painting techniques inherent in noble oil. Gouache paint is not transparent and contains white. This means that you need to write from dark to light, and not vice versa. That is, having decided on the composition and color scheme, you need to start with darker tones of paint, and highlights and dark color accents are placed at the end of the work.
Among other things, you should know that gouache dries quickly enough. If you make a mistake, then you can not correct it until the gouache has dried out. In case of violation of this rule, you will get a smeared dirty spot. You need to make changes and corrections to the drawing after waiting for the gouache layer to dry completely. Usually the drying time depends on the thickness of the gouache layer, it varies from 30 minutes to 3 hours. When the gouache has dried, it is very easy to make changes. It is only necessary to moisten the brush in warm and pigment-free water, lightly wring it out with a dry cloth and lightly wipe off the paint in the place of the mistake. In the same way, you can shade an overly clear outline of a drawn object.
When mixing colors, you need to take into account that wet gouache is brighter. When it dries, it becomes white due to the presence of chalk in it. Therefore, colors should always be chosen more saturated than those that you want to see in the final work.
Choosing the right brush will also help make familiarity with the data easier. artistic material. Since gouache is heavier and more viscous, too soft brushes are not suitable for it, so it is better to put aside a light squirrel. For wet gouache, well suited: columns, goat and synthetics. These brushes are great for shading, backgrounds and fills, that is, for working with a wet brush.

I offer this work to children at the very beginning. school year, literally 2-3 lessons, in order to remember with them "what gouache is, and what it is eaten with." Of course, this is a joke, but I cannot imagine my work without jokes, songs and dances, because they create a benevolent and creative atmosphere of classes. Each lesson is "a big secret for such a small company." It seems to be just a beautiful picture - this is for the audience, but for children it is a very complex and serious exercise in working with color, creating color stretches.
Color stretching is a smooth transition from one color to another, for example, from green to blue. A color stretch can be made from any two or more colors. A little paint of both colors is laid out on a sheet of paper (palette). The darker one is diluted to a creamy consistency, typed on a wide (20-25) brush and a strip of the darkest color is drawn. After in dark color a lighter one is added (on the palette), mixed and, with the capture of the previous strip, a new one is applied, and so on.

Today we will draw dandelions. In Russia, this plant was told this: it was the most beloved flower, because it gave nectar to bees, girls for wreaths their flowers, the roots healed the sick, at night golden flowers illuminated the way for the traveler. But one day the sky frowned, and evil riders appeared in the steppe, sowing death and devastation everywhere. The dandelion hid its petals, bowed its head, shrunk, not wanting to serve evil people. Time passed, the black tribe disappeared, but the dandelion did not forget anything. In clear weather, he brings joy, but as soon as a cloud appears, he closes his petals, warning of bad weather.
Welcome to our creative workshop!

Materials and tools:
- sheet of A3 paper
-brushes
-cloth
- jar
-palette (in case of a limited color gamut, children create the desired color, we get acquainted with this in previous lessons)

Master class progress:

Starting work with top corner the edges of the sheet, draw a blue triangle. Smears are applied in a vertical or horizontal direction at an angle. We will continue to use the chosen direction until the leaf is completely painted over.

Next, we enter the green color into the work, apply it next to the blue color. We wash the brush and draw it along the border of the flowers - smoothly connecting them.

We add strokes of light yellow to the wet green, and very carefully mix these colors together. Then wash the brush, pick up again yellow and apply it next to the mixed green and yellow. After light yellow, we introduce dark yellow and again mix them a little at the border of colors, so that we get a smooth transition from one color to another.

We continue to experiment with color - the kids really like this work. I suggest choosing colors yourself - complete freedom creative ideas, showing only examples of color combinations.

In the upper part, on a yellow-orange background, I wanted to add some greenish shades - I make brush strokes.

And with a clean brush I combine green (strokes) with the main tone, carefully blending. It is important here that the paint layer is wet, if necessary, you can apply new layers of yellow and orange.
Then I continue to fill the background of the picture with color: red, purple.

And I finish work on the background blue and green flowers. When painting with gouache, it is very important to use the set of paint on the brush correctly: excess water and paint must be removed on the edge of the jar or on a cloth. This will contribute to a fairly rapid drying of the paint layer, and will allow you to immediately proceed to the next stage of work.

In green, we begin to draw dandelion leaves. First, we draw a stem line, then we make strokes at an angle downwards, as if we were drawing a Christmas tree.

Next, we place thin stems on the drawings.

We change the water in the jar so as not to spoil the white color, which is very important in the final part of the work. And we begin to draw dandelions with thin elongated strokes (like a camomile).

We get an asterisk flower, then we draw horizontal strokes on the tips of the petals, in a chaotic manner.

Then the core - and the dandelion is ready.

Here is such a beauty!

Works of my children (September 2016).

Thank you for attention! All the best and brightest to you!
