Location
The resort town of Nessebar, located on a small peninsula in the Black Sea, is one of the oldest in Europe. Architectural monuments of all eras of its existence, give a unique flavor to this romantic and original city - a museum, included in the list of world cultural heritage UNESCO.
The resorts of the southern coast of Bulgaria invite you to take part in the Sun-Joy-Beauty festival. This is a wonderful opportunity for creative communication of children and youth, acquaintance with the traditions national art. The festival provides an excellent occasion for meeting and exchanging experiences of artistic directors of groups. The warm sun and gentle Bulgarian sea will create an atmosphere of an unforgettable holiday.
The participants of the festival are accommodated in the hotels of Nessebar and the Sunny Beach resort, on the shore of a cozy bay, 30 km from Burgas. Luxurious sandy beaches, developed infrastructure and traditional hospitality create favorable conditions for recreation. The organizers of the festival are the Municipality and the Municipal Children's Complex of Nessebar.

Costumes and dresses must be made by the contestants themselves or with the help of their parents. Appropriate footwear should be selected for each toilet. Rehearsals are held on June 16, 17, 18. Participation in rehearsals is mandatory.

The festival helps to reveal the talents of the participants and improve their performance skills. The goal of the organizers is to promote the development of children's and youth creativity through communication between leaders and children from different countries, enriching their repertoire with classical and contemporary works. One of the main goals of the festival is to unite the youth of Bulgaria with the youth of other countries in creative unions, to familiarize them with the culture and natural attractions of Bulgaria.
Conditions for organizing the festival
Collectives, chamber formations, ensembles and individual performers can take part in the festival. The festival consists of two parts - competitive and festival. If desired, participants can take part in both parts.

Section "Music"
Collective and individual performances
1. Performances in the category "Music" - in real time with musical accompaniment or synback at the choice of the participant. Playback and duplication of the soloist is not allowed.
2. Vocal formations must consist of a minimum of two participants.
3. Formations in which performers of different age categories take part compete in the age category of the senior participant.
4. For participants in the category "Pop music" one of the performances must be on mother tongue. Only one performance is allowed per foreign language.
5. For participants in the category "Folklore song":
- Up to 14 years old - one of the songs should be long-winded without scale (slow), and the other should be fast with instrumental (symback) or with live accompaniment.
- Over 14 years old - no backing vocals or additional recorded on the symback are allowed.

Individual performers, groups, duets and chamber ensembles (trios, quartets) can take part in the competition.

Duration: chamber groups present their program up to 8 minutes; dance groups - up to 15 minutes; ensembles - up to 20 min.
Recommendations: chamber dances should have a thematic or plot orientation.

VI. Sports (ballroom) dancing
In this category, teams of sports (ballroom) dances can take part, consisting of more than 4 competitive pairs or at least 8 competitors who perform competitive compositions of standard and / or Latin American dances together or according to certain regulations.
The compositions are based on five standard or Latin American dances.
The performance of the group (including entrance to the stage and exit) should not exceed 5 minutes.
The lifting of partners is not allowed.
The composition of the teams:
a. Children's groups (I age group). In the presence of a team of 8 couples - two can be youthful, with the participation of 6 couples - one.
b. Youth teams. (II age group). If there is a team of 8 couples - two can be youth, with the participation of 6 couples - one.
c. Teams with competitors over 19 years old. Youth can participate.
Recommended plot form
Each group can participate with a maximum of two dances per genre category. The duration of each dance should not exceed 5 minutes.

Section "Fine Arts"
In the open air (competition) no more than three works with a maximum size of 50/70 cm are submitted (without limiting the type of materials used in drawing). The theme of the plein air is "Ancient and young Nessebar". On the reverse side The drawing indicates the surname, name and patronymic of the child, age, city, country, full name of the head and they are handed over to the Municipal Children's Complex.
Each participant draws with their own materials.
The awarded works remain in the festival fund.

Participants submit a list with the names of participants to the Municipal Children's Complex until August 10, 2016. The creative application form for participation is filled out according to the model of the organizers in WORD formats and sent to: e-mail: [email protected].
1. Participants perform in the competition with 2 numbers, each lasting a maximum of 5 minutes in each declared nomination style, unless other requirements are specified in the conditions of a particular nomination.
2. The organizers reserve the right to take pictures, film, record and distribute the performances of the competition program without paying for the rights, etc.
3. The schedule for entering the stage is determined by the Organizing Committee 5 days before the start of the competition. Schedule changes are not allowed.
4. The right of the jury is to determine which of the awarded participants will be presented at the Gala Concert.
5. On August 18, 19 and 20, the organizers hold technical conferences with team leaders.
6. On August 22, 23 and 24 from 9.00 in the conference center "Sochi" meetings are held with the jury of the previous competition day (classification is not announced).
7. Classification by nominations and awarding is carried out on August 24, 2016 from 18:00.

- for artists - 42 levs (22 euros) for each participant;
- for individual participation - 60 lv. (31 euros);

June holiday experience
Given that the summer this year was not very hot, I was glad that we got out in June to sunny Bulgaria. We took a last-minute ticket, especially since we already had Schengen visas open. So the rest turned out to be spontaneous, but very interesting. The weather already allowed not only sunbathing, but also swimming, although in the morning the water was still cool. We allocated several days for excursions, so our trip turned out to be very eventful.
Family holiday
This is a beautiful historical resort town with ecologically clean sandy beaches, cozy family restaurants, picturesque narrow streets and beautiful buildings. It is very calm and good to relax here with children, the level of service in hotels and restaurants is quite high, and the climate is very mild and favorable. And a nice bonus - affordable prices, so here you can relax with the whole family inexpensively and comfortably.
What to take with you on vacation?
Going to the Bulgarian Nessebar, as well as to any other southern resort, be sure to take hats, sunglasses and creams with you. It is especially worth picking up good creams for children, since the sun has been baking very strongly since the end of May. Well, you should not forget about the first-aid kit, proven medicines should be with you on any trip. For walking around the city, I recommend taking shoes with comfortable soles, since the old part of the city is almost completely paved with stones and cobblestones, by the way, it is also inconvenient to travel with prams here. And so, Nessebar is not a very expensive resort, so even if you forget something, you can always buy swimwear, some clothes or beach accessories on the spot.
Where is the best place to stay?
If you come to Nessebar to sunbathe and swim, then be sure to choose a hotel on the seashore. As a bonus to a beautiful view, you will get free daily access to the beach, this is very important, since renting umbrellas and sunbeds on the city beach will hit the budget hard. The sun loungers on the public beach are so close to each other that it is simply unrealistic to sit on your own towel or blanket.
What to do at the resort?
The resort is divided into two parts: old and new Nessebar. Old Nessebar is separated from the new part and is a small peninsula, which can be reached by bridge. Here you can walk around narrow streets covered with red tiled roofs, looking at old buildings and feeling like a resident of the Middle Ages. The new part of Nessebar is filled with hotels, shops and restaurants. It is full of souvenir shops and cosmetic shops, so you can just shop and dine in local taverns and cafes all day long. You can also walk along the promenade every day, listening to the sound of the surf and looking at the architectural beauties of the hilly old town.
Shopping in Nessebar is very developed, everything is sold here, but before you find something of high quality and originally Balkan, you will have to go through a bunch of malls with Chinese trinkets and replicas of famous brands. Of the souvenirs, we bought magnets and postcards, by the way, we bought them at the post office, the prices are inexpensive, and there is a choice.
About the quality of food and service
There are a lot of cafes and restaurants in Nessebar, the cuisine is mainly European, sea. The prices are pleasantly surprising, especially after the resorts Western Europe. There are a lot of meat and fish dishes, here they are served with fresh vegetable salads. No frills, just very satisfying and tasty. This year's vacation turned out to be spontaneous, so without thinking for a long time, the whole family went to Nessebar. We are resting in Bulgaria not for the first time: comfortable rest, lack of acclimatization, warm sea, sandy beaches, Russian-speaking (mostly) local population, low prices... There are really a lot of pluses in such a holiday.
This time we went to the resort town of Nessebar.
In this settlement, the "mainland" modern part is distinguished, connected by an isthmus to the old Nessebar, which is a world heritage, which is not surprising: about 40 historical monuments architecture (mostly churches). Some of them have turned into decorative ruins, which are besieged by tourists from all over the world.
Some quietly hide behind residential buildings, and only on the sign you read the date of construction - the 13th, 14th century. This town is simply a miracle: surrounded by the sea, with old houses covered with wild grapes and ivy, it simply attracts you again and again. Just walking along its narrow cobbled streets is already a real pleasure: a huge number of artists and artisans with amazing works of ceramics, glass, shells, wood, marine paintings...
There is also an absolutely wonderful picture gallery... You can come back here again and again. The symbol of Nessebar is a windmill installed at the entrance to the city.
The beach in Nessebar is just perfect for children. A gentle descent, a long stretch of shallow water, warm sand - children simply do not get out of the water for hours. The beaches are completely controlled by lifeguards, in principle - and they are cleaned pretty well.
Well, now, as promised, about the prices.
Unlike the same Sunny Beach, the Bulgarians live here permanently, so there are a lot of shops "for their own" with enough low prices. (this was relevant for us, because we rented apartments with a kitchen without meals). Prices for the beginning of July: olives (local, by weight - 3-4 dollars, the famous Bulgarian white cheese - 1-3 dollars (everything - per kilogram), cherries - 2 dollars, delicious tomatoes - by the dollar. And this is another price rose after of our arrival! I live in Belarus, the prices are like at home for almost everything. Something is a little cheaper, something is more expensive, but on average - the same. And, yes - wine (here, mostly dry and semi-dry) - an average of 3 dollar (it is clear that there are much more expensive options, but the seller in the shop near our hotel advised exactly this).
A hearty lunch - 2 adults and a low-eating child - costs about $15 at the cafe. So everything is on a budget. I can’t say anything about sights and entertainment like flying over the sea on a parachute: I was completely exhausted in a year, so a relaxing beach holiday and evening gatherings in a cafe with a glass of wine suited me completely. There is an amusement park in Nessebar - swings-carousels cost about 3-4 dollars for a ride. Water park (large) - 20, for children - 15 dollars per visit. The water park, by the way, occupies the 20th place in the world ranking of water parks, so it's worth a visit.
