Of course, the summer weather in the middle lane can be extremely unpredictable, so you should stock up on a light knitted cotton blanket or an envelope with a thin, weightless layer of insulation made of cotton or other natural fiber. Clothing for a newborn can be as bright and elegant as possible, but it must certainly be comfortable and cozy, it must be easy to take off and put on.

Winter envelopes for newborns

It is most difficult to choose, since the understanding of when it is cold, warm and hot is very different for adults and newborns. In order to understand this issue, it is enough to open any book on pediatrics. The essence of the problem is that heat exchange with the environment in newborns occurs several times faster than in adults, and so, where the adult is warm, the baby is hot, and where the adult is cool, the baby is warm and comfortable. It's not in vain optimum temperature in the nursery - 19 C. Therefore, when buying a winter envelope for an extract, the main thing is not to overdo it, because a red, constantly screaming baby is able to deliver a huge number of unpleasant minutes to his parents. So, the most light and comfortable fabrics: after all, no one will like a pile of something heavy on top. Walking in such an envelope, and even more so carefree sleeping in a stroller during a walk, will be an unattainable affair. The ideal option is light fleece or modern fabrics made from synthetic fibers. The ideal filler is natural wool (sheep, camel, merino), while it is desirable that the insulation is still inside the envelope, i.e. was hidden under a cotton lining. Wool has excellent soothing properties, releasing natural lanolin and promoting sound sleep of the child.

Envelope for extract spring - autumn

It can be made in the form of an envelope-blanket, or even a transformer, which is very convenient, because. in the future, it can be used as an option for walking. You should choose models with the most natural and hypoallergenic insulation thermofin, holofiber, isosoft, etc. The material of the upper part must have low hygroscopic properties so as not to absorb moisture from the outside. These can be various polyester fabrics, ideally soft high-quality fleece, which reliably protects against wind and cold, while being light, weightless and, accordingly, comfortable for the baby. The inner part is recommended from soft natural cotton, which, on the contrary, has sufficiently high hygroscopic properties and breathability, which allows you to maintain the perfect balance between the baby's body temperature and the environment.

For me personally, the best option turned out to be an envelope-blanket, which, with its successful and thoughtful design, can be used for further walks in the fresh air or as a rug for games. Taking into account seasonality (late autumn), the envelope was made of faux fur like a rabbit, double thermofin insulation and fleece lining.
