A group of 45 students of the Dedenevskaya secondary secondary school them. N.K. Krupskaya (Dmitrovsky district, Moscow region) visited Tula for the first time as part of the patriotic program "Roads of Victory". The first point of the two-day excursion for children was a visit to the Tula state museum weapons.

On the grand opening of the new stage of the program "Roads of Victory" in the museum of schoolchildren was welcomed by the Advisor to the Chairman of the Russian Military Historical Society Rostislav Medinsky, Deputy Head of the Federal Agency for Tourism Roman Fast, Chairman of the Government of the Tula Region Yuri Andrianov, director of the “Museum-Estate of L.N. Tolstoy "Yasnaya Polyana" Ekaterina Tolstaya.

The patriotic program "Roads of Victory" was developed by the Russian Military Historical Society together with the Federal Tourism Agency. The objectives of this project are to show our history of glorious victories, the heroes of the First World War, the Second World War - the very feats that our grandfathers and great-grandfathers accomplished, defending the freedom of our homeland. To date, we present 23 routes to historical museums and places of military glory. Trips to the hero city of Tula will become the 24th route- said the Deputy Head of the Federal Agency for Tourism Roman Fast.

As a response, the students of the Dedenevskaya school prepared creative performances: a song and a dance with canvases in the colors of the Russian flag. Older children were invited to the first excursion - students of grades 9-10. In the future, younger students will also visit the museum. Under each age group organizers have prepared an individual program of excursions for children.

- In our museum, the guys will see that the traditions of valor, skill, feat were passed down from generation to generation. Thanks to the demonstration unique collections in combination with multimedia complexes - these traditions come to life again. It is important for us that a visit to the museum touches the heart and soul of a young person — the future of Russia, — shared the director of the Tula State Museum of Weapons Hope Kalugina.

After visiting the weapons museum, the young tourists went to the Samovar Museum and then to the Kremlin. The program of the second day of the trip was a visit to the L.N. Tolstoy "Yasnaya Polyana", located 14 kilometers from Tula. In addition to visiting the grave of L.N. Tolstoy and the house where he lived great writer a number of master classes have been prepared for schoolchildren: on ceramics, floristry and making amulet dolls, which, according to tradition, were given to soldiers in Russia.

A visit to Yasnaya Polyana as part of this program is very important. After all, how much Lev Nikolayevich Tolstoy wrote about the war! How much he wrote about patriotism, about what love for the Motherland is! This is what we will talk about with the children. How important it is that a person who went through the war, the terrible events of the defense of Sevastopol, came out of there not embittered, but on the contrary - with peace in his soul and with the desire that people around him understand each other, hear each other and that they live in peace, - explained the director of the “Museum-estate L.N.
