How to register at the Lithuanian embassy

Sheet 14

In order to submit documents to the consular section of the Lithuanian Embassy, it is necessary to register. From June 1, 2013, the opportunity to receive a coupon in the window at the embassy itself was removed. Now registration takes place exclusively through the site.

Without an appointment from 9:00 to 12:00 on any reception day, persons over 65 years of age and persons with a disability certificate can apply.

So how do you register to apply?

Registration is available 2 weeks in advance. Unlike the Polish embassy, if there are no dates, this does not mean that nothing will shine for you in the next month.

Every day from Monday to Friday from 6 am to 10 am, and then from 11 am to 2 pm, the dates for registration are thrown out at the Minsk consulate. Usually up to 300 places for a period of a week or two. Dates are sorted out in a couple of minutes. Therefore, it is worth getting up early and following the appearance of dates.

For the record, Grodno residents and residents of the Brest and Grodno regions follow this link, and all other residents of Belarus follow this one.

We have a visa registration site

We select the item: Registration for visas and get here:

Everything seems to be clear with the filling. We write the number of people and our real workbox, as confirmation of registration will come to it. Let's get started:

Here we enter your passport number (try without errors!). If several people are submitted, the site will offer to fill out the form several times.

If serving several people, then take the time in order (for example, all 9:35)

We chose the time, and you received a letter with a registration confirmation code to the box (indicated earlier), which must be entered into the form within 6 hours! or just go to the top link (the bottom one will CANCEL the time reservation):

After confirmation of registration, a coupon will be displayed on the screen, which can be saved in pdf format, or you can immediately print it.

That's it, you have a coupon in your hands, which contains the data (name, passport number), as well as the time, address and number of the window where to apply for submission. In fact, there is a live queue near the Lithuanian embassy and the time in the coupon is not important.

But this option only works when there are dates (recently extremely rare).

How to catch a ticket

In order to catch a ticket outside the release time, you need to constantly monitor. That is, do everything according to the instructions above, but as soon as you click on “Set an appointment”, you will see the “No free time” window pop up. Then you just need to sit and constantly press the button "Set an appointment". Every half hour you will have to go through the data entry procedure again. You can easily notice this: in the Russian-language profile, when you hover over inactive dates (gray), the text in Russian pops up. If the idle time has passed, then on hover there will be a text in Lithuanian, which means you need to go to the main page again and enter your full name, email and passport number again.

Although there are no dates for releases on weekends and holidays, it is possible to catch a refusal time (especially Sunday evening to Monday). Therefore, if the documents are collected, you can spend Sunday evening and catch a coupon for tomorrow.

Problems when registering at the Lithuanian embassy

Due to the large influx of applicants and the crookedness of the server of the Lithuanian embassy, strangers are often displayed in the ticket. Do not worry, you have registered a stranger, but he will not be able to use your unexpected service. AT this case, it is worth canceling the reservation. If there are several people on the coupon, including strangers and you, just circle yourself with a marker and calmly go to the embassy.

To prevent other people from registering, you can check who you are registering. This is easy to do: next to the inscription "Set an appointment" there is another "Appointment time (1 person)" - just hover over it. If your name and passport number are displayed, then everything is fine. If not, then you need to re-enter the data.

What to do if you are registered and the system does not allow you to enter data a second time

It happens that you yourself can get into someone else's ticket. Then, when registering, you will be given "all persons are already registered in the system, so registration is terminated." There are two ways out: 1) find the person who registered you (almost impossible, even though they try on the online forum),

2) enter your data a little differently so that the system does not record duplication. For example, you have a series of passports in MP - you can enter in Latin, you can enter in Cyrillic, it doesn’t matter for the embassy, it does for the site. You can also put (or not put) a space between the series and the passport number. For the registration system, this will be different data.

Bypassing this procedure is extremely difficult, and changing or influencing Lithuanians is even more difficult. You just need to accept and be able to use.

  1. A completed application form .
  2. Valid passport with free visa pages ( passport must be valid 3 months after the expiration of the visa).
  3. Information about wages over the past three months.
    • Individual entrepreneurs present a certificate of registration of individual entrepreneurs and a copy of it
    • Pensioners present a pension certificate and a copy of it
    • Officially not working persons - documents confirming the availability of funds
  4. One color photograph corresponding to the age of the applicant ( 35x45 mm, not more than 1 year old, with a white background, the size of the face should occupy 70-80% of the photo).
  5. Accident health insurance (minimum coverage of the insurance policy must be 30,000 euros).
  6. Consular fee - 60 euros.
  7. For minors - a copy of the birth certificate.

In 2015, it became possible to apply for a multiple-entry visa without any special reason. Documents must be accompanied by an extract from your bank card.

Visa Application

An application for a visa to Lithuania is filled out on the website https://visa.vrm.lt/epm/.

You cannot fill out the questionnaire by hand, the questionnaire must be filled out only through the site.

  • do not make mistakes in your name and surname, passport details, phone number, length of stay.
  • if the questionnaire was sent, but there is a need to correct something, then it is necessary to fill it out again and send it again.
  • in case the system leaves the field "date and place" empty, then write them by hand. For example: Minsk, 01/01/2015.

Registration for a visa, monitoring dates

Registration for an appointment at the embassy is now taking place at https://evas2.urm.lt/ru/visit/

  • Without registration for submission, documents are not accepted at the embassy
  • For minors, you do not need to take a coupon (a coupon is needed only for the submitting parent / legal representative)

Rules for obtaining a Lithuanian visa

According to the principles governing competences under the Convention on the Application of the Schengen Agreement, the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in Minsk accepts an application for a Schengen visa for consideration only when.

The website of the Lithuanian embassy is increasingly malfunctioning, which has made it much more difficult to register online to submit documents, TUT.BY users report. The difficulties of registration are very similar to those with which the Polish embassy in Belarus has been experiencing for years. The Lithuanian embassy itself admits that there are technical failures on the site, but they do not say why. They only hint that it is "beneficial to someone." To the question of whom, they offer to answer ... the journalists themselves.

To apply for a visa at the consulates of Lithuania in Belarus, you need to register on the website of the embassy. Only by filling out an online application form and receiving a date with a specific time for submission of documents, you will be able to go to the embassy. The Polish embassy in Belarus has the same system, where problems with registration have existed for more than a year. True, if problems with the Polish embassy arose for a long time, then they began to talk about problems with the Lithuanian embassy only now.

"There were no such problems before!"

Here is how our reader described problems with TUT.BY registration Olga:

"Before, there were never any problems with registering online on the website of the Lithuanian embassy. But since May 7, I spent several hours on the registration website - there were numerous technical problems. I registered two, but after entering the data of two passports, a message popped up saying that 3 ", then 4 people. The data of two passports are mine, another one or two are completely strangers. Is it possible to apply for documents with someone else's data?"- asks Olga.

According to the girl, this was not the only problem she faced now during the attempt to register. "Several times I managed to" catch " free time registration, but the system hung up and refused to send a message with a code to the mail. On the third day, I managed to go through the procedure until I received the code and the link, by clicking on which you need to confirm your registration. It was six hours, but the link never opened - it gave an error message. Only on May 12 was it possible to complete the procedure. Every day it took at least three hours to "hover" on the embassy website".

It is interesting that it was at the time when these problems began that advertisements for the sale of online registration places for 150 thousand rubles began to appear on popular Internet forums, Olga adds. "The money, of course, is small, but the fact itself is very similar to the situation that has already developed in the Polish embassy, when different craftsmen get places with the help of special programs, and then sell them", the reader assumes.

After reviewing the complaints and questions of people on various forums, we realized that at least dozens of people are facing the same problem.

"The problem is that "bots" (special code programs that "catch" dates at high speed - approx. TUT.BY) have bred a myriad. Each of them, which registers one time cell for itself, is, in fact, for the system site "full-fledged character". The more there are, the worse the resource works, and people start to fit into each other's coupons,- an active participant of Internet forums told TUT.BY Andrew. - There was a day when after lunch "for tomorrow" the embassy threw in at least 1000 seats, and almost all of this was "eaten" by bots in order to put these seats up for resale later."

Embassy of Lithuania: "When you answer the question of who needs it, it will become clear to you why failures occur"

The Lithuanian Embassy in Belarus confirmed to TUT.BY that there are technical problems on the site, but those who deliberately create "interference" should be blamed. True, to whom this may be beneficial, the embassy did not say.

“For every day, the embassy opens 1100-1200 places for individual visa applicants. The electronic record is public. This number of seats is sorted out in about 30 minutes. On the day of submission of documents, as before, all 1100-1200 places are occupied, that is, no one refused to register. But 350-400 people come to submit documents. When you answer yourself the question of who needs it, and why this is happening, it will become clear to you why system failures occur. We only note that last year 60-70% of registrants came to apply", - commented TUT.BY difficult situation at the Embassy. They also noted that if other people's names are on your coupon during registration, then you can still go to the embassy with them. The main thing is to have your last name.

It is worth saying that on Belarusian forums, as a rule, offers of users to sell a place in the online queue are deleted. However, for example, in in social networks there are enough groups offering assistance in registering on the website of both the Lithuanian and Polish embassies. Naturally, for money. Here are just a few messages in Vkontakte groups:

"Constantly available dates (coupons) in Lithuanian Consulate. The city of Grodno and the city of Minsk. The price is 150,000 rubles. Filling out the questionnaire 30,000 rubles";

"Registration of questionnaires for submission to the consulates of Lithuania. Grodno, Minsk. Price 150,000 rubles. Filling out the questionnaire 30,000 rubles";

"Registration of questionnaires for submission to the consulates of Poland (only national visas). Price 400,000 rubles. Grodno, Minsk, Brest";

"Help in obtaining a visa. You only need personal data to fill out a visa application form. If you urgently need a Lithuanian visa, please contact us, there are options for going the next day after ordering."

Note that these offers in groups in social networks are not from travel agencies, but from certain individuals who do not even indicate phone numbers - communication is only online.

Why is this happening?

Expert: the problem with registration on the website of the Polish embassy is still not resolved

This year, the most popular embassies for Belarusians through which they receive Schengen visas remain Poland and Lithuania, so first of all they “hunt” for visas in the embassies of these two countries, says the director of the intermediary company vizavsem.by Dmitry Maksimchik. The Polish embassy throws out free dates only once a month, the Lithuanian - every day, but now both embassies have almost the same problems. Only Lithuanian is not on such a scale yet. Perhaps due to the fact that free dates appear every day.

Maksimchik says that the problem with registration at the Polish consulate has not been resolved either.

"When there is a release of free dates, the servers of the Polish consulates start to go down, and it's even impossible to get to the site itself. This is due to the fact that at that moment the whole of Belarus is trying to register, this is already such a Belarusian tradition,"
- he says, adding that both people and programs with which they are trying to make money request dates.

According to the expert, the problem can be solved either by strengthening the work of embassy programmers, or by other means. For example, this year Poland tried to solve the situation by slightly changing the approach to issuing visas.

“Previously, everyone tried to get into any consulate of Poland, but now people must apply only to their consulate. Now the Grodno region can apply for a visa only in Grodno, the Brest region - only in Brest, all the rest - in Minsk. area at the Latvian consulate. There, for example, you can register in person or by phone. Also, registration for shopping has become more complicated - they began to demand the return of "wat" in order to issue such a visa."

The latest innovation of the Polish Embassy in Belarus - multiple tourist visas. However, according to Maksimchik, only a few have received it so far, and it is still difficult to say how much this will ease the workload of the Polish consulates. But it is interesting that in social networks those groups of craftsmen to catch dates, which even last year actively offered services in registering for the Polish annual Schengen, now offer basically "problem-free registration" only for national Polish visas, or for Schengen visas, but single.

In general, this year problems with online registration will be both at the Polish and Lithuanian embassies, the expert predicts. Will it be realistic in this case to catch dates this year?

"Really, but you have to try, - advises an active Internet user Andrey, who "catches" the dates on his own. - On the website of the Lithuanian embassy, you just need to keep track of when the dates appear, and with patience everything will work out. And the success in registering on the website of the Polish embassy will depend on the purpose of the trip. For business, for example, there is a chance to catch dates, and if you want "for purchases", then it is better to do this through travel agencies. Almost impossible on its own."

In the case of contacting travel agencies, it should be borne in mind that in addition to the consular fee of 60 euros, you will have to pay the travel agency. On average, intermediary firms in Belarus charge 130-300 euros for registration and submission of documents - for half a year / an annual Schengen. A one-time Schengen visa will cost 50-100 euros.

In order to register at the embassy, you need to follow the link https:// evas2.urm. lt /ru/visit/ .

If the embassy website opened on l itovian language, in the right upper corner pages, you can change the language to Russian.

You need to select "purpose of visit" - visas, "embassy" - embassy Republic of Lithuania in Belarus, in the column "number of visitors" indicate how many people you register.

In the column "date of visit" you will see a calendar in which dates with free places will be indicated in pink.

Having chosen a date convenient for you, in the next paragraph, click on any free time, then enter the security code from the picture.

In the "Visitors" section, enter the First and Last Name with Latin letters, passport number and email address.

After that press " register ". You will see a window with an inscription that the registration was successful and a confirmation letter was sent to the e-mail that you indicated in the questionnaire.

After confirmation registration email will be sent voucher to print and take with you to the embassy. Reception at the embassy is conducted not according to the time indicated in the coupon, but on a live queue.

Attention! Sometimes due to site overload, registration confirmation fails. Then you will have to start registration from the very beginning.
