How to draw a pony step by step

Today we are with you draw a cute pony step by step. The task, at first glance, may seem too simple, but this scheme is the basis of the process of drawing a realistic horse, only in a more complex form. You will learn how to build the "skeleton" of a drawing and measure the scale with lines. You will need:

- pencil (the softer the better);

- two sheets of paper (plain paper for a printer is suitable);

- ballpoint pen or felt-tip pen (for dark lines).

You don't need an eraser!

1. WE DRAW A PONY BODY
   

Step 1

Take a sheet of paper. Mentally imagine an oval and transfer it to paper without pressing too hard on the pencil. Don't draw everything solid line. Try to draw with short dotted lines.

This will be the chest.

Step 2

Divide the oval into two equal parts. If you don't know how, here is one way:

Determine the center of the oval and mark it with a dot. Then draw one point on the right and left, on the line of the oval. Connect them with a line - you just split the oval in half.

Step 3

Draw a circle next to the oval. Make it a little smaller than an oval.

This will be the back of the horse.

Step 4

Now connect both shapes with two curves. The body of the horse is ready!
