Stories about the national heroes of Azerbaijan, Mubariz Ibrahimov. Armenians are afraid even of the dead Azerbaijani hero Mubariz Ibragimov! What memory remains of Mubariz Ibragimov

Mubariz Aghakerim ogly Ibragimov(Azerbaijani Mbariz Aakrim olu brahimov; February 7, 1988 - June 19, 2010) - Ensign of the National Army of Azerbaijan, National Hero of Azerbaijan.

Biography

Mubariz Ibragimov was born on February 7, 1988 in Aliabad village of Pushkin region. From 1994 to 2005 he studied at the school named after Malik Piriyev in Aliabad village. In March 2006, Mubariz was called to active duty. military service military commissariat of Bilasuvar region.

On November 20, 2007, Ibragimov was dismissed from active military service to the reserve as a subgroup commander, but on September 18, 2009, he was re-admitted to active military service of his own free will and took training courses for ensigns of the Training and Educational Center of the Armed Forces. After graduation, he served in Naftalan.

Doom

Official Azerbaijani and Armenian versions

The Azerbaijani news agency APA reported that Ibrahimov died repulsing the attacks of the Armenian armed forces, another - that he died during the shelling of Azerbaijani positions by Armenians. According to the Armenian media, during a sabotage and reconnaissance attack on the posts of the Armenian armed forces. The body of Mubariz Ibrahimov remained in the zone under the control of the Armenian forces (later the Armenian side handed over the body of Ibrahimov to Azerbaijan). It was reported that during the clash the Armenian side lost more than 4 and wounded soldiers. The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan has blamed the Armenian side for the clash on the front line between the Armenian armed formations and the Azerbaijani military, while the Armenian side has blamed the Azerbaijani side.

According to Carnegie Endowment spokesman Thomas de Waal, "Circumstantial evidence indicates that this clash was more likely the result of an Azerbaijani attack (the body was on the Armenian side), but the true picture will probably never be known."

Body

The day after the incident, the Azerbaijani news agency ANSpress reported on the funeral of Ibrahimov, this message was immediately copied by a number of other media outlets. Subsequently, this message was removed from the ANSpress website. However, the situation around the body of the deceased soldier took on a conflict character. On July 7, Ombudsman Elmira Suleymanova turned to the President of the International Committee of the Red Cross, Jacob Kellenberger, with a request for assistance in returning the body of the deceased soldier. The Armenian side stated that it had not received an official request regarding the return of the body. On July 15, the head of the Information and Propaganda Department of the Defense Ministry of the unrecognized NKR, Senor Hasratyan, in an interview with an ARMENIA Today correspondent, said that the body of Mubariz Ibrahimov had never been at the Armenian side, and the corpse of the killed Azerbaijani lay in the neutral zone. The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan questioned this statement, noting that recently the Armenian side substantiated the reason for the non-return of the body of the deceased by the fact that the Azerbaijani side did not contact them about this. At the same time, the statement of the Armenian side, to which the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan referred, did not mention the presence of the killed soldier in the territory under its control.

On July 17, commenting on Azerbaijani media reports about the refusal to hand over Ibragimov's body, Senor Asatryan made a statement in which, referring to Azerbaijani news agencies, he claimed that the soldier was buried by the Azerbaijani side two days after his death. At the same time, he added that “in this context, the Karabakh side can do nothing to help the Azerbaijani side in the issue of issuing an already buried body.” According to the Azerbaijani side, on August 3, 2010 in social network Odnoklassniki, a user with the fictitious name Tehler Yan, posted photos similar to the murdered Mubariz Ibragimov. In this regard, the Baku office of the International Committee of the Red Cross appealed to the central office of the organization. In turn, the Armenian media suggested that the appearance of a photograph of the alleged corpse of a person similar to Ibrahimov was an Azerbaijani provocation.

This year, the National Hero of Azerbaijan, ensign Mubariz Ibrahimov would have turned 30 years old. He did not live up to the round date for eight years - he died at 22. Why Mubariz died and what Mubariz fought for, Vestnik Kavkaza will try to analyze in this article.

At the end of 1991, the Soviet Union collapsed. The country was destroyed on the initiative of the central authorities, and not the union republics, where the initiative coming from the center was perceived very warily. Peoples of the Caucasus Central Asia, the RSFSR, Ukraine, Belarus and other republics at one time made a huge contribution to the strengthening of the USSR, fought shoulder to shoulder against Nazi Germany, defending the honor of the country, liberating the occupied Soviet territories and heroically continuing the offensive, passing through all of Eastern Europe, defeated the enemy in Berlin .

Recall at least the fighters of the 416th Infantry Division, which consisted mainly of Azerbaijanis. The 1054th and 1374th regiments were formed in Agdam, the 1373th regiment in Geokchay, and the 1368th regiment in Sumgayit. At the end of April 1945, the 416th division was one of the first to break into the outskirts of Berlin, stormed Strausberg, crossed the Spree, broke into the enemy stronghold - the palace of Kaiser Wilhelm. In early May, soldiers of the 416th division captured other strategic points and hoisted the banner of victory over the Brandenburg Gate. Add to this the fact that 90% of the oil products used for military purposes were supplied by Baku, and the contribution of the Azerbaijan SSR to the Victory will become obvious.

In 1991, Moscow granted independence to all the union republics, but Azerbaijan's sovereignty turned out to be incomplete. This was facilitated by the policy of Mikhail Gorbachev (it is surprising that this man has not yet been convicted for his deeds), aimed at inciting ethnic conflicts, which became one of the main reasons for the collapse of a huge country. The result of this kind of policy was confrontation, which in some territories turned into a war. The instigators of these conflicts were the henchmen of the Gorbachev clique, who acted through the hands of the criminal rabble, who had certain skills for these purposes.

The beginning of the armed confrontation in Nagorno-Karabakh was preceded by the events of 1987-1988, which began with the dismissal of Azerbaijanis in the cities of the NKAR, including Stepanakert. All this was part big plan power structures and officials who held high positions both in party structures and in the KGB. The second point of this plan was the eviction of Azerbaijanis from Armenia. All this was followed by an open confrontation, inflated according to a clear scenario of the KGB and foreign experts interested in the collapse of the USSR.

It was possible to unleash a large-scale war, helping first one, then the other side of the outbreak of the conflict. They helped selectively, taking into account the internal alignment of forces and forecasts as to who would more obediently fulfill the requirements of the center. It was about accepting conditions corresponding to the semi-colonial status of the republics. The result of such a policy was the occupation of more than 20% of the land of Azerbaijan and more than a million people who were forced to leave the lands of their ancestors.

Can the people who fought for common homeland and defended it in 1945, agree with the loss of the land where they were born, grew up, where their fathers and grandfathers are buried? Can they put up with the barbed wire that separates them from their native land? Are there many Azerbaijanis for whom material well-being means nothing compared to the honor of their families and the nation as a whole? A lot of! A striking example of this is Mubariz Ibragimov.

As a result of a firefight provoked by the armed forces of Armenia on June 18, 2010, near the village of Chaily, Terter region of Azerbaijan, 22-year-old ensign of the national army Mubariz Ibragimov entered into an unequal battle with Armenian servicemen, killing four aggressors and injuring four more at the cost of his own life.

When Mubariz did not return to the military unit, suspicions arose that he had deserted. The commanders found the ensign's father, who told them: “My son would never have run away from the army. If it is not there, then look for it in enemy territory. He went to fight.

The father's words were prophetic. Later it turned out that the body of Mubariz after the end of the battle remained in the territory controlled by the invaders.

Before joining the battle, the ensign left a letter to his parents: ″My dear mother and father, do not miss me. My heart is breaking in these difficult days for my Motherland. I'm going to the enemy. If I become a martyr, then do not cry, but rejoice for me that I was able to reach such a level. Long live the Motherland! Your son Mubariz."

Armenia handed over the body of Mubariz Ibragimov only two months later. His hands were still bound. It seems that the occupiers were even afraid dead hero. So great is the strength of people who are ready to die for their native land, for the invaders to leave Karabakh and other territories of Azerbaijan.

Today, Baku is in favor of a peaceful settlement of the conflict, but do not forget that the Azerbaijani army is armed with the most advanced weapons, and the Azerbaijani people have such sons as Mubariz Ibrahimov, who are ready to fight to the bitter end for the liberation of their homeland. These are the great-grandchildren of those who beat the Nazis on the battlefields of the Great Patriotic War, who supplied oil to the front, without which not a single tank would have moved, not a single aircraft would have taken off, which in a war of engines would mean the defeat of the USSR, which was surrounded by an enemy.

It is worth noting that the national policy of today's Azerbaijani leadership is fundamentally different from the policy of the current leadership of Armenia, which came to power on the basis of nationalist slogans from the "Armenia for Armenians" series. If 150,000 Russians live in Azerbaijan today, then there are only 15,000 of them in Armenia. The preservation of Russian kindergartens, secondary schools and Russian sectors in all universities means that not only the current generation speaks Russian, but today’s people will also speak Russian schoolchildren, because Azerbaijan sees its future together with Russia, where, moreover, the largest Azerbaijani diaspora lives.

This is the best answer to all those who sow the seeds of doubt and scare Russia with the fact that the solution of Azerbaijan's territorial problem will lead it somewhere away from Russia.

Today, only Armenians live in the occupied lands, recognized by the whole world as the territory of Azerbaijan, the infrastructure is completely destroyed there, and the territory is disfigured by destroyed buildings, reminiscent of post-war Minsk and Stalingrad.

Azerbaijan is ready to restore these lands, just as it did with the village of Jojug Marjanly liberated in April 2016.

The peaceful solution of the Karabakh problem will have to begin with the withdrawal of the occupying troops from the Azerbaijani lands. All citizens of the republic can live peacefully on the liberated and restored lands, including Armenians who lived together with Azerbaijanis in peace and friendship long years. The Azerbaijani authorities and people are able to guarantee the peaceful coexistence of all peoples on this land, regardless of nationality and religion.

The first material from a series of articles about the national hero of Azerbaijan, Ensign Mubariz Ibrahimov, published as part of a new initiative of the Justice for Khojaly campaign, has been published.

Within the framework of this project, carried out by the campaign "Justice for Khojaly" under information support 1news.az, we present to the readers the Live Journal "Justice Fighter" Live Journal, written by Azerbaijani and Bolivian authors.

The magazine will tell about the last ten days of Mubariz's life, before the Day when he accepted Martyrdom - the Day of Shahada and committed his heroic deed. In these ten days, the authors tried to reveal the path of the Hero to the Deed of Life, to tell about his short but glorious life path, the parents who raised the Hero, and the reasons why a person goes to an obvious death for the sake of the ideals in which he believes.

DAYSHAHADAForeword

Heroism without limits

They say that in life there is always a place for a feat. That every person is capable of an act that can perpetuate his name in the eyes of his contemporaries and future generations. Everyone is capable ... but only a few decide to take a heroic deed or a feat, who are then called Heroes.

A hero is a person whose life takes on a completely different meaning after committing an out of the ordinary, non-standard act. The hero is not in danger of oblivion, and death for him becomes only a line, passing which the Hero becomes part of the collective memory of his people, and sometimes of all mankind.

One of these Heroes, whose life and deed, which are a role model and can be the subject of close study by various sectors of society, was a 22-year-old guy from Azerbaijan with a symbolic name - Mubariz.

The name Mubariz means "constantly fighting" or "irreconcilable fighter." Quite by accident, the story of Mubariz's feat, which we will tell about below, attracted the attention of my friend, a well-known blogger from Bolivia, Julian Lugo, who recently visited Azerbaijan.

Julian is also the national coordinator of the international campaign "Justice for Khojaly". Collecting information on the Web about the victims of the genocide committed against peaceful Azerbaijanis, he read a short information about the feat of Mubariz and that one of the driving motives of the young guy was an enduring memory - a psychological trauma - the stories of refugees who survived the atrocities of the Armenian aggression and today live with an enduring pain about the loss of their native lands.

A citizen of Bolivia, a distant country in Latin America, was shocked by the story of Mubariz and suggested that I, an Azerbaijani participant in the Justice for Khojaly campaign, study deeper into the life of this (as Julian called him in the first e-mail) Justice Fighter and convey the truth about continuing gigantic injustice against my people through the refraction in the fate of the Hero.

In addition to paying tribute to the memory of Mubariz, our motive was the fact that international institutions and the media, indifferent to the fate of the victims of the Karabakh conflict, were alarmed as a result of this act of revenge. Many foreign blogs, at the suggestion of Armenian lobbyists, have already rushed to present Mubariz's action as another manifestation of "Azerbaijani aggressiveness." Therefore, the story about Mubariz is also an attempt to tell the world the truth about the Karabakh war, which has been going on for the second decade and is taking the lives of such heroes as Mubariz. The international team of the “Justice for Khojaly” campaign supported our idea and publishes this study on the campaign’s Facebook page in translation in 3 working languages of the UN… an organization that has adopted more than one document, but has not done anything so that blood does not continue to be shed on Karabakh land… .

However, let's not get ahead of ourselves and start in order, first about our Hero.

FROM THE BIOGRAPHY OF THE HERO…..

Mubariz Aghakerim oglu Ibragimov was born on February 7, 1988 in Aliabad village of Bilasuvar region of the Republic of Azerbaijan. From 1994 to 2005 he studied at the school named after Malik Piriyev in his native village of Aliabad. From 2006 to 2007 - served in the National Army. In September 2009, he enrolled in ensign courses, after which he served in Naftalan and in the frontline zone. In the front-line because for about 20 years Azerbaijan has been in an interethnic conflict with the neighboring country of Armenia, which has occupied about 20% of Azerbaijani territories.

In the same month that Mubariz was born, the fire of Armenian separatism began to flare up in the neighboring Nagorno-Karabakh region of his native region. As a result of the Armenian-Azerbaijani, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, which flared up during the collapse of the USSR in the early 90s of the last century, called the Karabakh war, about 25 thousand Azerbaijanis died and over a million were expelled from their native lands. At that time, several hundred thousand Azerbaijanis were expelled from Armenia en masse, the same ethnic cleansing of the Azerbaijani population was carried out by Armenians in Nagorno-Karabakh and seven occupied regions. The expulsion was accompanied by massacres of Azerbaijanis. Today, virtually every eighth citizen of Azerbaijan is a refugee from Armenia or an internally displaced person from Azerbaijani territories occupied by Armenian troops.

All these years, between Azerbaijan, on the one hand, Armenia and Karabakh, occupied by Armenians, on the other hand, there is a front line, where shots are heard every day and information comes about the death or injury of soldiers. Despite the obvious injustice of the current situation, the leading world powers: the United States, Russia and Europe are doing everything to keep Azerbaijan from resuming hostilities in order to return the lands occupied by Armenia. The world community pays little attention to the fact that for almost 20 years over a million Azerbaijanis have left their native lands, lost loved ones, and are eager to fight to punish the aggressor Armenia.

In such a difficult situation, the current young generation of Azerbaijanis grew up, including our Hero, who chose the profession of a warrior and remained to serve on the line of the Armenian-Azerbaijani front. On the night of June 18-19, 2010, Mubariz committed his heroic deed, which caused increased attention not only in Azerbaijan, but also in neighboring states, as well as those far from our country.

That night, the Azerbaijani warrior Mubariz took the fight in response to another armed sortie of the enemy. Repelling the attacks of the Armenian armed forces in the direction of the village of Chaily in the Terter region of Azerbaijan, Mubariz Ibragimov crossed the front line and alone inflicted damage on the enemy forces, the equal of which is probably hard to find in the history of the Karabakh war. Mubariz Ibragimov killed about 50 Armenian servicemen during the ensuing skirmish.

According to unofficial sources and according to the testimony of his colleagues, Mubariz blew up a military transport truck, inside of which there was a unit of the Armenian army, and in an unequal battle destroyed more than forty Armenian servicemen. Breaking through the Armenian positions, Mubariz left 4 more Armenian soldiers killed and 4 wounded. But then he was overtaken by an enemy sniper bullet, but the seriously wounded Mubariz continued the fight and held the enemy. With weapons in hand, our Hero fought to the last and did not let the enemy close to him. Even after Mubarzi died from his wounds, the Armenian soldiers were still afraid to approach the body of the Hero for a long time, who, as it turned out later, became a real ghost for the Armenians even after his heroic death. But we will talk about this later.

It should be noted that the feat of Mubariz plunged the Armenian side into despondency and confusion. Because of this shameful incident for the Armenian army, following the results of the investigation, two Armenian generals and a number of officers were fired. The Armenian side behaved unworthily: hiding the body of Mubariz Ibragimov, refused to hand it over to the Azerbaijani side. With such an inhumane method, the Armenian side is trying to "fight" with the corpse of our Hero. Armenian officials initially reported that Mubariz's body was at the Armenian side. However, then, on July 15, 2010, information was disseminated that the body of Mubariz Ibragimov had never been at the Armenian side, and the corpse of the murdered Azerbaijani lay in the neutral zone of the front line. Until now, the body of the Hero has not been handed over to the Azerbaijani side, his parents cannot bury the body of their son. But this only strengthened the fame of the heroic deed of Mubariz. The media started talking about it different countries world, the house of his parents has become a real place of pilgrimage, where people from all over the country flock to express gratitude and support the Hero's parents.

By the decree of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, ensign Mubariz Ibrahimov was posthumously awarded the title of National Hero of Azerbaijan. The Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on perpetuating the memory of M.A. Ibragimov also says:

“In order to perpetuate the memory of the National Hero of Azerbaijan Mubariz Aghakerim oglu Ibrahimov, I make a decision:

1. Provide the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan to name one of the secondary schools in the Bilasuvar region after Mubariz Ibragimov.

2. To provide the executive power of the Bilasuvar region to name one of the streets in the Bilasuvar region after Mubariz Ibragimov.

Ilham Aliyev

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan

The heroic deed of Mubariz Ibragimov has already become the subject of study for military experts and specialists from different areas. But I think it is of particular interest to try to study and convey to the general public the motives, inner experiences and inner world our Hero. Undoubtedly, readers around the world will be interested in getting to know our 22-year-old Hero, who immortalized his name with a heroic deed that has no analogues in the world.

With the same goal in mind, we decided to conduct this study. As a result, we present the Justice Fighter Live Journal to the readers' judgment. The magazine will tell about what were the last 10 days of Mubariz before the Day when he accepted the Martyrdom - the Day of Shahada. In these ten days, we tried to reveal the Hero's path to the Deed of Life, to tell about his short but glorious life path, the parents who raised the Hero, and the reasons why a person goes to obvious death for the sake of the ideals he believes in.

In the social network Odnoklassniki, Armenians, contrary to all ethical norms and universal values, published photographs of the body of the National Hero of Azerbaijan Mubariz Ibragimova. By publishing dirty comments, Armenian users once again showed their true face, their disrespect for the dead is evidence of fear even of the deceased Azerbaijani hero.

About two months passed, but contrary to all international conventions, the Armenians did not hand over to the Azerbaijani side the body of the Azerbaijani soldier, who remained in the territory of Karabakh occupied by Armenia. Even the demand of the International Committee of the Red Cross did not help. And now they have also distributed these photos, which, due to ethical considerations, we will not be able to place in the material ...

This fact is an attempt of an information-psychological attack by Armenians on Azerbaijani society, in which the feat of Mubariz Ibrahimov has become an example for young people, considers a member of the Committee on Security and Defense of the Milli Majlis, MP Zahid Oruj.

"Social networks have a great influence on the minds of people, and by publishing these photos, the Armenians are trying to make an informational and psychological attack on the Azerbaijani society, in which the feat of 22-year-old Mubariz Ibrahimov has become an example for young people. As always, with this fact, the Armenians showed their inhuman face and think, that in this way they can somehow take revenge.Such is unacceptable and goes against not only international norms, but also is evidence of a violation of all norms of morality and moral values", Zahid Oruj told Trend Life.

According to the political scientist Rasima Musabekova, measures must be taken to ensure that such incidents do not recur in the future.

"It is necessary to send a letter to the Odnoklassniki administration with a demand that they remove these photos, since this fact violates all ethical standards. Moreover, make sure that other villains no longer distribute these photos on social networks and websites," Rasim Musabekov told Trend Life.

The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan considers the dissemination by the Armenian side of a photograph of the body of the deceased ensign of the national army Mubariz Ibrahimov a violation of international law and calls this fact another demonstration of the duplicity of Armenians. Deputy head of the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan told Trend on Tuesday Teymur Abdullayev.

"Most likely, international structures will take control of the issue of photographs and intensify investigations," Abdullayev said.

"Armenians seem to be trying to take revenge dead person. This is monstrous and contrary to all human laws. I just don't have the words to express how low their behavior is. All Azerbaijan is proud of Mubariz Ibrahimov. This event awakened the youth, his heroic deed is discussed in personal blogs and on Internet forums. This guy revived the spirit of patriotism in our country and showed everyone that we cannot be broken so easily," said a member of the Azerbaijani delegation to PACE, MP Ganira Pashaeva.

He died defending his homeland - he died heroically!

From a letter from Mubariz Ibragimov to his parents:

" Dear Mom and Dad. Every evening I look towards the occupied territories, and my heart breaks at the sight of the lands devastated by the enemy. In every house there used to be a light, and the voices of people were heard. And now in that direction there is only a dead, ominous silence, which all the time reminds me of how the enemies desecrated my homeland.Don't miss me. If I die, do not cry, be proud that I managed to reach such a level. My heart is breaking in these difficult days for my Motherland. I will go against the enemies to the last. We will meet again in paradise. Long live the Motherland! Your son, Mubariz "

Mubariz was born in the small village of Aliabat, Bilasuvar region, into a deeply religious family. Since childhood, he was a brave guy, seriously went in for sports and chose the path of a warrior and martyr. Today, his house has become a place of pilgrimage for people whose flow does not dry out. To express pride in this brave guy, thousands of people come, flocking from all regions of Azerbaijan. In the courtyard of the Ibragimovs' house there is a table with photographs of a young guy who did not even have time to start a family, but gave his life for the liberation of the Motherland from the Armenian invaders. There is also a notebook, the pages of which are covered with hundreds of confessions to the hero of their country. REAL PERSON!

His parents no longer cry - in his last, farewell letter, the son asked not to shed tears, but to be proud of him. Only a mother, secluded from everyone ... She is a mother ...

Shamama Ibragimova - mother of the hero:"I am proud that I am the mother of such a son. If he were born again, I would like him to take part in the battles and destroy even more Armenians. It was his dream. I am sure that he achieved his dream, and therefore his soul rests with the world. My son had great willpower. He always fought to achieve his goal.Mubariz wanted to end the Armenians once and for all.He was always involved in sports, boxing and wrestling since the third grade. From childhood, he loved action movies. Recently, he constantly said: "I must be healthy, I can not get sick. I will need this to make my dream come true. "I am in a lot of pain, but despite this, I am proud of my boy. He died as a hero."

Mubariz consciously became a martyr, because for him there was nothing higher than the freedom of the Motherland.

"Mubariz seemed to know that he would leave young, every time when there was talk of marriage, he laughed it off, they say, I don't want to make someone unhappy," says Shamama khanum.

Father of the National Hero Aghakerim Ibragimov recalls the last conversation with his son:

"The last six months, Mubariz asked me for blessings, but I did not understand his thoughts. The last time he asked me for blessings again, I gave a blessing to my son. I wished him to achieve his dream. In response, Mubariz asked me to wish him martyrdom. Only A few days later, when we heard the news that he had become a martyr, I understood why he asked me for blessings."

He spends all day in the yard, meeting people who come from all over Azerbaijan. Soldier father! With sorrow in the eyes and pride on the face!

"Many guys come to us, some of them are very young. Each of them says that he would like to become the same as our Mubariz"

It should be recalled that as a result of a skirmish provoked by the armed forces of Armenia on June 18 near the village of Chaily in the Terter region of Azerbaijan, ensign of the national army Mubariz Ibragimov entered into an unequal battle with Armenian servicemen and, at the cost of his own life, killed four aggressors and wounded four more ... By order of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev dated July 22, Mubariz Aghakerim oglu Ibragimov was awarded the title of National Hero. The President ordered to ensure that one of the secondary schools and one of the streets in the Bilasuvar region is named after the National Hero Mubariz Ibrahimov. On the initiative of MP Ganira Pashayeva, filming has already begun documentary film dedicated to the life of Mubariz.

The history of each country knows many heroes who gave their lives for their Motherland. Their names are written on stone so that the descendants know and honor the memory of those who gave their lives for the peaceful life of their compatriots. And it is a pity that there are still places on Earth where wars do not stop and new heroes appear almost every day... One of them is Mubariz Ibragimov.

Why Azerbaijan and Armenia are at war

The conflict between the two countries has a long history. historical roots, but the peak was in 1987-1988, and in 1991-1994 military control over Karabakh began. In 1994, a ceasefire and truce protocol was signed in Bishkek between Azerbaijan, on the one hand, and Armenia and the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, on the other. But there is no truce in its direct meaning to this day, because every day there are shellings from both sides and both countries lose soldiers. Armenia refuses to return its lands to Azerbaijan and is legally considered an occupier, since the UN Security Council recognized the belonging of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic to Azerbaijan and there are 4 resolutions demanding the immediate return of the territories to their lawful country.

Who is Mubariz Ibragimov

Let's talk about this hero. Soldier Mubariz Ibrahimov was born on February 7, 1988 in Aliabad (Bilasuvar region). Graduated in 2005 rural high school named after Malik Piriev in Aliabad, and in 2006 he was called up by the military commissariat for urgent military service in the Internal Troops as a shooter, and on November 20, 2007 he was transferred to the reserve as a subgroup commander. But on September 18, 2009, he was again admitted to military service of his own free will. At the same time, he graduated from the training courses for ensigns organized by the Training and Educational Center. He served as deputy commander of a motorized rifle platoon of a motorized rifle battalion. Colleagues and wards say about Mubariz Ibragimov that he was a worthy and conscientious employee.

How the national hero of Azerbaijan died

On the night of June 18-19, 2010, Armenian troops attacked the border military zone controlled by Azerbaijan - Terter region, Chayly village. The Azerbaijani troops repelled the attack of the Armenians, and as a result, both sides suffered losses - the Armenians lost 4 soldiers, and the Azerbaijanis lost ensign Mubariz Ibrahimov. His body after the end of the battle remained in the territory controlled by the Armenians. Later, the body of the heroically deceased soldier was photographed by the Armenians, and the photo was posted on social networks. According to the Armenian side, the Azerbaijanis started the fight. The reason they call the meeting of heads of state in St. Petersburg, which ended not in favor of Azerbaijan.

Did the Armenians return the ensign's body to the Azerbaijanis?

The next day, the body of Mubariz Ibrahimov was in the territory controlled by the Armenians, and soon this situation began to acquire a conflict character. The Azerbaijani side officially appealed to the Armenian side with a request to return the body of the serviceman, and they, in turn, referred to the lack of a request. Later, on 08/03/2010, a user of the Odnoklassniki social network, under the fictitious name Tehler Yan, posted the photographed body of Mubariz Ibragimov on his page. Prior to this event, on 07.07.2010, Ombudsman Elmira Suleymanova, who asked Jacob Kellenberg, president of the International Committee of the Red Cross, to assist in the return of the body of a soldier, joined in resolving the issue of returning the body to his homeland.

The photo that appeared on the web forced the Baku office of the ICRC to contact the central office. The Armenians called the photo that appeared in Odnoklassniki a provocation of Azerbaijanis, but in October they confirmed the fact that the body was on their territory. In response to the refusal of the Armenians to return the body of the ensign, the Chairman of the Office of Sheikh ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade wrote a letter to the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia and the Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II asked the Armenian President to return the body to the Azerbaijani side. Later, at a trilateral meeting of Presidents D. Medvedev and S. Sargsyan, it was decided to exchange bodies between the warring parties with the support of the OSCE Minsk Group and the ICRC. On November 6, the body of Mubariz Ibragimov was brought to Azerbaijan, and on November 7 he was buried in the Alley of Honor in Baku.

it real hero. Loyal to his homeland and cause - this is how a person named Mubariz Ibragimov can be characterized.

Photos widely presented on the Internet only confirm this fact: they depict him with colleagues or alone. But almost always in military uniform.

Below is another photo of Mubariz Ibragimov (at a young age).

What memory remains of Mubariz Ibragimov
