Latitude Yu(Jap. Shirota Yu, 城田優, December 26, 1985, Tokyo) is a Japanese theater and film actor, composer, singer, model.
Biography
Yu was born in Tokyo to the Japanese writer Shirota Mitsuo. His mother Pippi is Spanish. Yu has two older brothers Dei (9 years older) and Jun (1 year older), as well as two sisters Maria (7 years older) and a younger Rina. Jun is a model, designer and member musical group Alma.
For the first two years of his life, Yu lived with his family in Barcelona (Spain), after which the family moved to Japan. He attended high school with Tomohisa Yamashita, Koike Teppei, Ikuta Toma, and Koki Tanaka.
He composed his first song called "Tear" at the age of 10.
