Qamar, together with his friend Adila Taksaita, founded his first group, the French-speaking hip-hop duet LES MESSAGERS DU SON, at the age of 13. "Million Dollar Boy" is only K-MARO's second solo album. But taking Cyril Camara for a neophyte in show business is not worth it.

With clothes - a similar story: in his own brand "Balbec" Kamar embodied his understanding of a chic life, but every day the musician prefers to wear something simpler. To the downright Spartan modesty of the "millionth kid" it is also worth adding exceptional determination and pragmatism. K-MARO has never been in the habit of creating idols for himself in music, preferring to trust his own taste. However, there are a number of artists that he looks up to and has a deep respect for their work. These are mostly rappers like Puff Daddy, Jay Z, Dr. Dre and others. In essence, K-MARO is closer to hip-hop culture (it’s not without reason that this authoritative party looks favorably in his direction), because he made himself, is by no means an empty bag, which means that it is interesting not only for romantic schoolgirls.
As the singer self-deprecatingly confessed, the main highlight of his work is "franglish" - a hybrid of two languages, to which K-MARO became addicted while living in Montreal, this small France inside English-speaking Canada. According to the artist, English fits more comfortably with recitatives, while French has more charm and sexuality - what could be more important for lyrical songs? Only then will you have a chance to achieve everything you dream of," K-MARO is convinced. For therapeutic purposes, he even made a tattoo on his arm - "Guilty of his exclusivity" - in order to see this cheat sheet in the mirror every morning and not forget about his mission. K-MARO grew up in Lebanon. In this country, where 99% of the inhabitants profess Islam, a civil war has been going on for a decade and a half.
K-MARO has no childhood friends. All of them died during the bombing. What could await Cyril in the future? The same as a hundred other Arab guys: participation in some terrorist group, thoughts of jihad and ... a suicide belt. But, his wise parents fled the country to Canada when future star was 11 years old. They settled in Quebec, converted to Catholicism and raised their son in respect for this religion.
