Chimera group. Chimera group information from Mr. ed

Let me start by saying that my internet is not very fast. Since in this moment I live in a village, then I have to use the Megaphone Modem. 3G network. My usual Internet speed is 100-200 kilobytes per second, and the fastest is 500-600 KB per second. And it constantly changes depending on the time of day and weather conditions. But still, even under such circumstances, I successfully managed to download a massive 12 GB file from the Mega file exchange. I'll tell you about this later, and you will find out for yourself. useful information how to download huge files from mega.nz.

Initially, I downloaded small files from Mega using just a regular browser. By the way, in view of the fact that access to this file sharing service through some networks, especially through is closed, you need to look for additional ways to access it. Typically, file addresses begin with the line https://mega.co.nz. And if you can’t enter through them, then you just need to change the characters “mega.co.nz” to “eu.static.mega.co.nz”.

First way downloading a file from Mega.nz is to use a regular browser. It is recommended to use Google Chrome for a more successful download. If the file is huge in size, then it is advisable to initially clean the browser itself from any rubbish that accumulates in it and interferes with further work- this is the history of downloads, cookies, log of visited sites. For these purposes, I use a free utility called CCleaner.

How is the process of downloading to Mega through a browser? At first, it is saved in the browser, and then when it is completely downloaded, it is automatically transferred to the computer. Most often in the Downloads folder. Well, or to another folder in which you installed.

Select the file you want to download and click "Download in zip". Or you can right click on the file. A window will appear in which you click on "Download", and then choose either a regular download or download in zip. I prefer to download files in archives like zip and others.

Initially, I downloaded one object - an 8 GB archive. Everything went well. The next day I started downloading a 12 GB file. He rocked me for about 22 hours. I messed around with him. The speed was not clear why very small. Then, when the file was already 90% downloaded, the download process was constantly interrupted, and it had to be constantly started. It was written in English something like that the download will continue after you free up space on the browser. It is possible that 12 GB for a browser was too much. Plus, the fact that I didn’t clear the browser before downloading also influenced. And as a result, 99% of the download on Mega was interrupted. I was disappointed as there was nothing I could do about it. Yes, and spent a lot of time and traffic. Therefore, I had to look for another, more successful method of downloading from Mega.

Second way how to download from Mega.nz file hosting is to use the Mipony program. She has many advantages. It is able to resume, does not create temporary files. I installed it from mipony.net. My antivirus in this file did not find any signs of an "evil" virus. And the mipony.net site seems to be official, at least it looks like one. True, along with this utility, a bunch of unnecessary programs were installed for me. I will get rid of them, since I do not need them, although they look harmless. And among them is the Amigo browser. How he bored me. I install it all the time with some programs. Apparently, software developers have such a promotion scheme - to pay the owners of other programs so that their application is installed along with the installation of their file.

Then select the desired files or all. To start the download, click on the "Select Download" button below. All files after these steps start downloading.

The entire download process takes place in the "Download" section.

Don't forget to put the "Unlimited" speed in the lower right corner. I originally had 10 KB / s. This is very small and you will be downloading large files at this speed not just for weeks, but for months, if not years.

As a result of using Mipony, I was able to download a 12 GB file in about 8 hours. This process can take much less time for you. It all depends on the speed of the Internet you are using.

Good luck! I hope that the article on how to download from the Mega file sharing service was useful to you.

Another impressive aspect of the band was Starkov's lyrics. Edward was an original and truly brilliant poet. The verses of his songs are filled with esoteric-surrealistic images and, despite the seeming gloom, are surprisingly positive in mood.

"Chimera"- Russian rock band from St. Petersburg. According to many music critics, Chimera is one of the most underrated, great and unusual bands in the history of rock music.

Story

At first, the group was called "Deputy of the Baltic", which was founded in the autumn of 1990 by the poet, guitarist and songwriter Eduard "Radt" Starkov (vocals, guitar, trumpet, accordion) and guitarist Gennady Bachinsky (guitars). In addition to them, the team played: Yuri Lebedev (bass), Pavel Labutin (cello), Vladislav Viktorov (drums, percussion).

During its existence, the group recorded the albums "Stoker's Dreams", "Smoke Gendarmerie Commissioner" and "Polupetrograd Acoustics", the sound of which was dominated by progressive rock with elements of psychedelia and folk music. Several others have also been recorded. concert performances. The style ranged from Russian rock and folk to post-punk and psychedelic rock.

At the end of 1991, Bachinsky turned from a guitarist into a band manager, and the band changed its name to Chimera. The sound of the group also changed, became heavier.

The renewed group makes the first recordings on October 20, 1992. Later they will be included in the noise-punk album "Dreamers". The main venue for performances was the St. Petersburg club Tamtam, although during their career the group performed in Switzerland, Germany, Czechoslovakia and Poland, as well as in various clubs in St. Petersburg and Russia.

The first album "Chimera" was recorded in March 1993 at the Melodiya studio on Bolshaya Okhta. It was officially re-released in 1999 and 2008 on CD. His style can best be described as psychedelic noise rock.

In the summer of 1994, the group made a European tour, and a year later they recorded their second album, Nuihuli, which was more musically diverse, but retained the band's signature sound. In the fall of 1995, Vsevolod Gakkel, an ex-member of Aquarium and owner of the TaMtAm club, became the director of the group.

In the spring of 1996, the band performs in Germany, and in the summer they work on their third album, Zudwa. The album turned out to be of better sound quality, and also quite diverse in the musical sense. The style of this album can be defined as psychedelic hardcore punk. It was released officially in mid-February 1997. The band continued to progress in terms of sound.

But on February 23, the leader of the group, Eduard Starkov, hanged himself. The circumstances and reasons for his suicide have not yet been clarified. His body was discovered by Vsevolod Gakkel a few days later.

When he was already in the next world, we were rehearsing at that time. His jacket hung.. He disappeared, was not there for a week. There were rehearsals, one or two. We couldn't even think that he was… But in fact, when we were rehearsing, he was hanging upstairs….

The group has ceased to exist.

In 2006, a tribute to the group was released - "Total Jazz", in the recording of which such groups as Pilot, PTVP, and others took part.

Gennady Bachinsky, who also worked at various radio stations since 1992, died in 2008 in a car accident in the Tver region on the 69th kilometer of the P104 Kalyazin - Sergiev Posad highway.

Style

The band's style is difficult to describe in any particular way. This is a mixture of hardcore, noise, punk, in which there are elements of folk music, psychedelic rock, and free jazz in some places. Starkov himself sometimes jokingly defined the band's style as "fuck-core". Starkov's texts and poems are also very special. They are filled with surrealism, esotericism, sometimes gloomy images or suicidal overtones, although there are also quite positive ones.

the beginning of the quote We have texts about life, about love, about hatred and about evil. About goodness and everything. Well, in general, about life texts. Well, of course, you can say about them that they are so, a little so esoteric, maybe not even a little - with such a bias towards esotericism, the texts can be paralleled with politics, these texts. You can parallel all this creativity with anything.

Stylistically, she ("Chimera") did not change. Even since the Deputy of the Baltic, nothing has changed stylistically at all - only the sound has changed. And the thought is one, the idea is one and the same goes through all life. Higher, higher and higher. To the stars. To the sun Well, yes, a lot of useful things are drawn from creativity ...

Influence

Starkov's personality still has a great influence on new generations of listeners. Cover versions of "chimera" songs were made by such groups as Pilot, Last Tanks in Paris, Underdrafts of the Underground, Psyche, Distress, Marraders, Electrozombies, The Spiders, Pigs in Space, Iva Nova and many others. There are also several poetic dedications - Lyokha Nikonov's poem "February 98", Roman Vasilyev's poem "Peter, 1997", Ilya Chert's song "Sky".
