gypsy show Allur was founded in 2003 in Minsk. Artistic director - Lyudmila Rodionova, she is also a stage director, repertoire creator and costume designer. All participants of the show are professional Belarusian musicians, vocalists and dancers. Since 2006, the ensemble has been working at the State Youth Variety Theater and giving concerts throughout the Republic of Belarus.

Dmitry Vranegl:
Why did you decide to create a gypsy band?

Eight and a half years ago, when we created it, there was nothing like this in Belarus. We decided to have a gypsy-themed team on the professional stage.

Nina Bogdanova:
Which audience is closer to you: wedding, restaurant, night club, large playground? Where do you go to "Hurrah!"?

Lyudmila Rodionova (Gypsy show "Allure"):
To be honest, everywhere! But we like the big playground the most.

Already not true. We have a real gypsy - Adam Malinovsky, and the rest are our Belarusian nomads, but in our hearts we are all gypsies.

Indeed, a lot of groups have appeared in Minsk that have nothing to do with the gypsy show "Allure". Under the cover of this name, they travel and work at the same weddings and anniversaries. Who taught you in the beginning creative career gypsy tricks in songs and dances?

At the very beginning of our creative career, we had a very good consultant Artur Gomanov. He is in the gypsy community. This is a man who told us a lot. Our own participants, who studied at the Belarusian University of Culture, took part in the staging of our numbers. Of course, it is hard for us, because we are not gypsies. But we tried, we looked for material in order to convey this to people as close as possible.

Never.

Of course, we performed, and we were left there for an hour. It wasn't just once.

After listening to a huge amount of material, you do not know what to throw away. I want to sing everything unambiguously, because if this is a romance, then to tears, if this is a cheerful composition, then I want to stand up and start dancing. Wonderful poems, words, it's not in vain, because the gypsies chose all the best from all over the world.

The head of the ensemble sews costumes for the artists herself. Is this the command of the heart or the strictest economy?

Lyudmila Rodionova (Gypsy show "Allure"):
I don't sew them, my brother's wife sews them. I invent them, select fabrics. The only thing I can do is decorate this suit, sew it nicely. Yes, handmade very expensive, but it gives me great pleasure.

Rumor has it that you have a whole dressing room - a separate apartment in which the costumes of the team are stored?

Lyudmila Rodionova (Gypsy show "Allure"):
Yes, there is, it two-roomed flat, one room is completely occupied by costumes, now the second one is slowly.

Nina Bogdanova:
I wanted to joke, I also need a bus, like Solodukha's. The question arose, do you move on horseback?

We now have two horses - two seven-seater minivans, but if you need more, then of course we order a bus.

Were there negative reviews from the gypsies? Maybe someone showed aggression?

I will not praise that everything is done with white threads ... Of course, messages came to the site that the girls who dance have visible legs. There are moments that are not allowed with gypsies. And we do it. Styling of costumes is also not allowed among gypsies, they have more red-black tones, and we have a different color scheme. Basically, there were no complaints, on the contrary, they said that you do it better than the gypsies. They thanked us for carrying our culture.

What myths about gypsies do you most often have to dispel?

Lyudmila Rodionova (Gypsy show "Allure"):
First of all, the fact that the gypsies are bad people, involvement in drug addiction, in theft. I repeat once again, there are no bad nationalities, there are bad people. And among the gypsies there are a lot of talented and capable people from birth who, even without education, feel great in the element of dance, song and music. They don't have to learn music, they take a guitar and play. This is probably in the blood, which, unfortunately, is not in our blood.

Nina Bogdanova:
When you eat from tour, what do you play during these moments? Are you really that funny, or do you play more dramatic stuff?

Lyudmila Rodionova (Gypsy show "Allure"):
We sometimes have buses shaking, because when this energy from the hall passes to you, you can’t calm down for a very long time. If you drive for three hours in a car, for example, from Brest, Gomel, then you still have time on the way to lose it and calm down, but if it’s not far away, you come home and don’t sleep until midnight, because the energy transmitted by people is raging inside. Here the girls seemed to be tired, the concert went on for two hours, and they can still sit and sing in the car.(Ed. note - they sing a "bus" song)

"Gait"- professional gypsy show. The name is an abbreviation - the Lyudmila Rodionova Ensemble (founder and artistic director of the group). In addition, everyone knows that the gait is the swift and graceful running of a horse. And the horse is considered a symbol of gypsy life.

The team was founded in 2002. Since 2006, "AlluR" has been working at the Youth Variety Theater, artistic director which is National artist Belarus, Professor Vasily Rainchik.

The repertoire of the gypsy show "Allur" is based on the folklore of the gypsies of Russia, Belarus, Moldova, Spain, Romania. In addition, professional artists at a high level perform songs from films of different years, their own songs, as well as those presented to the team by Belarusian and Russian authors.

The Allure show constantly takes part in various television programs (“Field of Miracles”, “Star Ring”, “Your Lotto”, “Our Five”, “Big Breakfast”, “Life is Like Life”, “Touch of Life”, “I Sing” etc.) Also participated as invited guests at the anniversary evening of Z.A. RB Alexei Isaev, benefit performance, anniversary evening, concerts dedicated to the national holidays of the Republic of Belarus, in solo concerts by Galina Shishkova, Nikolai Skorikov, Oleg Eliseenkov, the group "". As part of the tour "For Belarus!" "Allur" visited many cities of Belarus with performances.

Since 2006, "Allur" has been performing annually at the festivals " Slavic Marketplace in Vitebsk”, “Sozhsky Karagod”, “Call of Polesie”.

In 2007, the team performed at the opening of the "Association of Slavic Cultural Center in the Canary Islands and at La Hacienda Theatre. In the same year, tour performances took place in Moscow, Gzhel ( Russian Federation”) and in Chernihiv (Ukraine).

In 2008, performances took place in Israel, as well as filming in the films “Gypsies came to the city to us” and “Pavlinka” (ONT TV channel). This year, on the occasion of the 5th anniversary of the band, a solo concert was held at the Minsk Sports Palace.

In 2009, Allura passed tour across Latvia.

In 2013, concerts were held in Moscow and at the festival in the Mir Castle.
