Do smurfs exist? What are the smurfs called? Short cartoons "The Smurfs"

Title in English: The Smurfs.
Alternative titles: smurfs, strumfs, strumpfs.
Creator: Belgian artist Pierre Cullifort, better known under the pseudonym Peyo.

The adventures of the Smurfs began on October 23, 1958 in the comic book Le Journal de Spirou. The real fame for the blue men came in the 80s of the last century with the release of the series "The Smurfs".

The idea of creating the Smurfs came to Peyo unexpectedly. In the forest, he saw large mushrooms and suggested that gnomes might live in them. Initially, the artist wanted to make the Smurfs brown, but accidentally chose blue. So there were such cute characters as the Smurfs.

The Smurfs are funny little men, three apples tall, which is about 20-30 cm. When talking, they often add “smurf” to the words. Smurfs dress modestly and alone in white clothes, and only Papa Smurf wears red. The Smurfs' favorite color is blue. The village of the Smurfs is called Smurfidol. As shown in the cartoon "The Surfs", the village where the little men live is located in the forest. Their houses look like huge mushrooms, but they are not mushrooms, it's just that the Smurfs build them like that, perhaps for disguise. There are a little over a hundred Smurfs in total, but among them there is only one girl - Smurfette. The names of the Smurfs are very telling: Dad, Poet, Strongman, Clutch, Artist, Farmer and so on.

Who are the Smurfs?

The Smurfs live together and happily, only the evil wizard Gargamel and his cat Azrael poison their lives.

The Smurfs: Heroes

It is simply impossible to list and describe all one hundred little men. But you don’t need to get to know each other for a long time, it’s enough to know the name of the Smurfs. The name fully reflects either the character or the occupation of the little man. So, having heard the name of the Smurf, you can get a completely exhaustive idea about him. And yet there are Smurf heroes, which you should definitely tell in more detail.

- the most important in the village, he is obeyed and loved by everyone without exception. The Pope is responsible for order in the village and owns magic, but, unlike Gargamel, uses it exclusively for good purposes.

In the cartoon "The Smurfs" it is shown that the Smurfs in the village are all boys, with the exception of. At the beginning of the story, when Smurfette was evil, she had black short hair, but after that she became a long-haired blonde. The Smurfs and Smurfette are the same family, but the girl was created by the evil wizard Gargamel from magic clay. He did this to capture the Smurfs. Initially, Smurfette and the Smurfs were strangers to each other, and the Smurf girl helped her creator. Because of the intrigues of Smurfette, the Smurf village was flooded. But the Smurfs forgave Smurfette and she repented and asked Papa to make her a real good Smurf. Subsequently, the blonde often tries to figure out who she really is and find her place in the Smurf village.

- a smurf with whom something constantly happens. The Smurfs and the Clutter often clash: either they won’t let the poor fellow go to the holiday in order to avoid destruction, or they won’t take him with them on an important matter. But despite such precautions, all the Smurfs love Clutzer for his kind heart and are always ready to help him. Muddler - the protagonist movie The Smurfs 1.

- still very small. The kid and the Smurfs learn love and patience from each other. In the future, the Smurfs learn that the Kid is a master of magic, and he is destined to become the head of a new generation of blue men.

Umnik (Prudent)- a boring smur who considers himself the smartest. He always warns everyone about troubles, but often he himself plunges into them. Despite his arrogance, he is a very charming character.

The narrator- comments on what is happening always and everywhere, which often annoys other smurfs. Present in the film "The Smurfs 1" and the movie "The Smurfs 2".

Negative characters

- an evil wizard loser. He hates the Smurfs because they are always happy. From the Smurfs, Gargamel is going to brew a magic potion that will enhance his magic. Gargamel's appearance is rather repulsive. According to the series, the wizard has an apprentice, Grubble. But in the film The Smurfs 1, as well as other full-length films, it is not mentioned.

- a red cat, serves Gargamel. Just like the owner, he hates the Smurfs. Interestingly, the cat is much smarter than the evil wizard.

The cartoon "The Smurfs and the Magic Flute" in 1976 is the first attempt to show the Smurfs to a wide audience. The director of the cartoon was the creator of the Smurfs - Peyo. Judging by the fact that in the future a series will be made about the Smurfs, the cartoon "The Smurfs and the Magic Flute" was very warmly received by the audience, but now this film may seem very naive.

Plot: The action of the cartoon "The Smurfs and the Magic Flute" in 1976 takes place in the Middle Ages. Once, a magic flute with six holes falls into the hands of a mediocre minstrel William. This flute makes anyone who hears the music played on it dance. William, although deaf and voiceless, is truly endowed with good heart. It never occurs to him to use a flute for an evil deed, he simply makes fun of the inhabitants of the king's castle. But there is a man who is going to plunder a lot of gold with a flute, hire an army and seize the kingdom. He steals the flute. William and his friend Johan take an oath to find a magical tool. To defeat the magic of the flute, William and Johan go to the blue men. Baby Smurfs are flute makers. And William and Johan just need a second flute to win.

It is there that they meet Patrick Winslow, whose life changes dramatically after he discovered a blue creature in his house. In the city, the Smurfs do not lose their determination to return home, but Gargamel goes after them, and, if not for the help of the hero played by Neil Patrick Harris, they would have had a hard time. Returning to their village, the Smurfs bring back the spirit of New York.

Despite the fact that the film "The Smurfs in the City" turned out to be really kind and original, critics gave it a rather low rating and left very cool comments about the movie "The Smurfs 1". But, contrary to the statements of critics, the film became very loved by the audience, and the song of the Smurfs became a hit in general.

The plot of the movie "The Smurfs 2": every year, on the eve of her birthday, Smurfette has a nightmare that she becomes evil again and helps Gargamel take over the village of the Smurfs. And only the love of the Pope and the support of all the other Smurfs helps her overcome her fears. But on the day that began the story of the cartoon "The Smurfs 2" in 2013, the little men, wanting to surprise the birthday girl, made Smurfette believe that they forgot about her birthday. And Smurfette thought that everyone had abandoned her. Meanwhile, Gargamel, unable to return to his world, becomes a famous illusionist and conquers Paris. He creates two bad guys - Robust and Splinter, outwardly similar to the Smurfs, but only the magician does not manage to make his creations blue. In order for the bad guys to turn blue, Gargamel needs the formula that Papa used to turn Smurfette into a real Smurf. But if Gargamel gets the formula, then a catastrophe will happen, he will destroy all the Smurfs and will be able, by creating bad guys, to draw the elixir out of them.

Having kidnapped Smurfette, Gargamel, along with the bad guys, begins to inspire her that they are her real family, and she herself is naturally bad. And they almost succeed. But the Smurfs didn't forget about Smurfette. With the help of magic crystals, Papa, Grumpy, Clutzer and Pretty Boy are transferred to Paris to a family already familiar to us from part 1 of the Smurfs story. The Winslow family has a new baby, Blue Winslow. Master Winslow, the Smurfs, the Kid, Grace and Victor - Patrick's stepfather - go to Paris to rescue Smurfette. In part 2 of The Smurfs story, Patrick and Smurfette have to figure out who their real fathers are and what true love means.

Part 2 of The Smurfs was also not as enthusiastically received by critics as the first. Moreover, in 2014, the film received the Golden Raspberry Award for Worst Sequel, Remake or Plagiarism.

The names of all the Smurfs mean something, and only the name "Smurfette" does not carry anything. The girl is trying to find her calling, but to no avail. Once in the forest, she meets an unfamiliar Smurf and rips off his cap. From this cap, Gargamel, who captured Smurfette and her friends, learns that there are other unknown Smurfs. The wizard announces to Smurfette that she was created bad, and her purpose is to lead him to the Smurfs, which she did. Gargamel goes on a search for unknown Smurfs, who are not even aware of his evil plans.

AT new series In 2017, the Smurfs are in a hurry to get ahead of Gargamel and find their relatives. They are the first to enter the Lost Village, having previously experienced a fantastic adventure in the Forbidden Forest. And then it turns out that all the new Smurfs are girls. It would seem that Smurfette has found her place, but Clutzer blabbed that Gargamel created her. Now the new friends don't want to trust Smurfette, believing her to be the wizard's spy. Gargamel manages to capture all the Smurfs, he is already rubbing his hands, anticipating how he will squeeze the elixir out of them, but Smurfette hurries to help his friends. In The Smurfs 3: The Lost Village, Smurfette finally realizes that she can be whatever she wants to be.

The director of the cartoon "The Smurfs 3" Kelly Asbury says about his creation as follows: "The meaning of the film is the importance of team play. The entire Smurf village must unite and work together to achieve their goal. The film tells about tolerance for other people's shortcomings and the harmonious use of virtues in the name of a common goal. It seems to me that this universal message will never lose its relevance.”

Of course, today the film "The Smurfs: The Lost Village" is the brightest and most dynamic of existing stories about blue beings. Let's see what the Smurfs 4 movie will bring us.

Songs from the cartoon "The Smurfs: The Lost Village" were released on the soundtrack of the same name, which includes 25 songs composed by Christopher Lennertz. But in fact, there are several more songs in the tape. So, the song from the cartoon "The Smurfs: The Lost Village", written by Megan Trainor, requires special attention. Director Kelly Asbury says about the song of the Smurfs: “Meghan Trainor wrote a very funny, upbeat and danceable song for us, into which she put all her talent. main topic songs - be proud of who you are. In principle, the same theme is suitable for describing the entire film. It turned out that Megan is a big fan of the Smurfs. She agreed to write the song without a second thought and completed it in just one night. She approached the work with enviable enthusiasm and put all her heart into the composition.

Megan Trainor herself talks about how the song from the cartoon "The Smurfs: The Lost Village" was created, as follows: "I really like the Smurfs, and it's a great honor for me to write a song for a new movie about them. I was so inspired that I wrote the composition in one evening! I think I can be proud of this song. I can't wait for the whole world to hear it. Well, the fact that I also had the opportunity to voice one of the secondary roles is generally wonderful! I'm very excited to be part of the Smurf family!!!"

Songs from The Smurfs: The Lost Village have become as popular as the cartoon itself.

Movie "The Smurfs 4"

Despite the poor critical reception of the first two Smurf films, the cute little men have a lot of fans around the world. And, of course, fans are waiting for the continuation of the story. The cartoon "The Smurfs 3: The Lost Village" only increased this desire. And although it is rightfully considered the third global work about the Smurfs, it still cannot replace a full-fledged film with real actors. So everyone is hoping that director Raja Gosnell will announce a release date for The Smurfs 4. But will he decide to do this after receiving the Golden Raspberry in 2014, that is the question! However, on the Web you can already find the estimated release date for the Smurfs 4 cartoon - this is August 2020. But what it will be - a continuation of the creations of Raja Gosnell or the animated story "The Smurfs 3: The Lost Village" - is still difficult to say.

In the cartoon "The Smurfs" in 2011, the plot directly intersects with the famous story by Charles Dickens "A Christmas Carol in Prose". However, there is little left of the original. In the history of "The Smurfs" in 2011 the main role assigned to Grumpy, who suddenly stopped loving Christmas. But this is the only day in the year when Grumpy stopped grumbling, on Christmas he had fun, like all the Smurfs: he danced, decorated the Christmas tree, waited for gifts. But as a gift, Grumpy was waiting for a hang glider, and not, as usual, a new hat. And in the end, not getting what he wants, Grumpy stops believing in the magic of Christmas night. Further in the cartoon about the Smurfs, three Christmas spirits appear to Grumble to show him how things really are, and that if he stops believing in Christmas and enjoying the holiday, Gargamel will capture all his friends and destroy the Smurf village. It also reveals to Grumpy that Papa makes Smurf hats every year, and each such hat is special. And if he had not been angry, but delighted with the gift, then a pleasant surprise would have awaited him. Like all stories about funny people, the 2011 cartoon "The Smurfs: A Christmas Carol" teaches viewers to value their family above all.

Every year, Egghead emerges victorious from the competition, and Daredevil decides to learn his secret. It turns out that Egghead goes to pick berries in a forbidden place called Smurf Hollow. Daredevil plans to play a trick on Egghead and take the victory for himself, but he does not expect that Egghead, frightened, will not run home, but into the very heart of the cursed place and fall into Gargamel's trap. Composers: Hoyt S. Curtin, Clark Gassman.

For the first time in a row, all series of cartoons about the Smurfs were broadcast from September 12, 1981 to December 2, 1989.

The plot of the series initially corresponds to Peyo's comics, but these are just a few episodes of the 1st season of the Smurfs series, then the story begins to develop on its own. The viewer watches how the Smurfs live in their village, fight with Gargamel and remain cheerful and kind, no matter what. In the Russian show, episode 1 of the Smurfs series immediately begins with an acquaintance with Smurfette, who was craftily created by the evil wizard Gargamel to harm the Smurfs, among whom there are no girls at all. But initially the Smurfette series is not the first: first there is an acquaintance with the Smurfs, which is much more logical.

Season 1 of the cartoon "The Smurfs" instantly became popular. This happened primarily because the characters were strikingly different from all other characters that presented various cartoons to the viewer. And this difference was not in color, just the Smurfs are truly kind and deeply positive creatures, and many people really miss this in everyday life. Hank Azaria, who played Gargamel in the new episodes of The Smurfs, released in 2011 in 2013, also did not remain indifferent to this series: “I remember that when I first saw the TV series about the Smurfs, I was already about 20 years old. Accordingly, I did not watch it every morning, as children usually do, but, since I have always been interested in animated films and characters, I followed this series with curiosity when I had time. He always pulled me into something. There is such a positive beginning in these guys that attracts attention.

The Smurfs Season 8

Season 8 of The Smurfs has 16 episodes in total. In the new episodes of the series, the Smurfs again face the machinations of the evil wizard Gargamel, but they again manage to leave him with his nose. Season 8 is the shortest, in terms of the number of episodes it is inferior even to the disastrous 9th season of the Smurfs series.

Completion of the 9th season of "The Smurfs": December 2, 1989.
Season 9 has 24 episodes.
Most viewed episode of season 9 The Smurfs series: Episode 9 is called Smurfette's Green Finger.

Season 9 of The Smurfs series earned a very low rating, it almost lost viewer interest, and therefore was interrupted by the creators without even getting a decent ending. The Smurfs, lost in space and time, where they traveled with the help of magic crystals, never returned home. By the way, magic crystals that help to travel in time and between worlds will be mentioned in the 2013 cartoon "The Smurfs 2".

The series "The Smurfs: Johan and Chizh"

This series is often referred to as the 10th season of The Smurfs, although in fact it is not. The Smurfs: Johan and Chizh is a spin-off of the main series and is not a season as such. The series "The Smurfs: Johan and Chizh" consists of sixteen episodes. In this series, there are quite original characters who, of course, are friends with the Smurfs, but they themselves do not even look like blue men. I must say that we have already met these characters on the screen in the 1976 cartoon The Smurfs and the Magic Flute.

The main characters of the series: Johan and Chizh.

Chizh- a short, funny guy who considers himself a musician, but acts more like a court jester, since he is not endowed with either voice or hearing. But he has a kind heart and a wonderful sense of humor.

Johan- the squire of the king, a noble, brave, intelligent guy, excellent with a sword. Chizh and Johan are friends of the Smurfs.

Actors of the universe "The Smurfs"

Over time, the voice actors in the stories about the Smurfs have replaced each other. In order to understand how this happened, and who most often voiced this or that character, it is worth taking a closer look at the lists. Consider only films made in the 21st century without looking far back, especially since the 1976 cartoon The Smurfs and the Magic Flute does not include Gargamel.

The Smurfs 1 actors: Gargamel - Hank Azaria; Papa Smurf - Jonathan Winters Smurfette - Katy Perry Muddler - Anton Yelchin; Egghead - Fred Armisen.

The Smurfs 2 actors: Gargamel - Hank Azaria; Papa Smurf - Jonathan Winters Smurfette - Katy Perry Muddler - Anton Yelchin; Egghead - Fred Armisen.

The Smurfs 3 actors: Gargamel - Rainn Wilson; Papa Smurf - Mandy Patinkin; Smurfette - Demi Lovato; Muddler - Jack McBrayer; Egghead - Danny Pudi.

Actors of the cartoon "The Smurfs" in 2011 - "A Christmas Carol": Gargamel - Hank Azaria; Papa Smurf - Jack Angel; Smurfette - Melissa Sturm; Muddler - Anton Yelchin; Egghead - Fred Armisen.

Actors of the cartoon "The Smurfs 2" 2013 - "The Legend of Smurf Hollow": Gargamel - Hank Azaria; Papa Smurf - Jack Angel; Smurfette - Melissa Sturm; Muddler - Anton Yelchin; Egghead - Fred Armisen.

Now you can see that some actors were lucky enough to play the role more than once.

Gargamel in four of the five tapes is voiced by Hank Azaria; in addition, he twice played the wizard in the movies. Unfortunately, we don't see Hank's name when reading the cast of The Smurfs: The Lost Village 2017. However, in the cartoon "The Smurfs 3" the actors who voiced the main characters were completely replaced. Perhaps in order to make the film completely different from the rest.

Also four times out of five voiced Egghead Fred Armisen. Many note the real similarities between Fred and Egghead. But, one way or another, in the cartoon "The Smurfs 3" the actor speaking for Egghead becomes Danny Pudi.

Muddler, like Gargamel and Egghead, has the same voice four times out of five. And that voice belongs to Anton Yelchin. In the list of actors of the cartoon "The Smurfs: The Lost Village" in 2017, he is also not, but could not be. And if we can hope to hear the usual voices of the little men in the Smurfs 4 movie, then the Clutzer will never be the same. In 2016, Anton Yelchin tragically died.

Smurfette is voiced twice by Katy Perry (The Smurfs 1 and The Smurfs 2) and twice by Melissa Sturm (we see her in the cast of The Smurfs in 2011 and 2013). The Smurfs 3 is voiced by Demi Lovato.

And again, as in the version with Smurfette, Papa Smurf is voiced twice by Jonathan Winters (this is again "The Smurfs 1" and "The Smurfs 2") and twice by Jack Angel (shorts 2011 and 2013) And the cartoon "The Smurfs 3" is already voiced by Mandy Patinkin.

The opinions of the audience on the account of replacing the voices that the Smurfs speak in the new series of 2017 were divided. Some want the classics, others claim that the Smurfs are better now, but everyone is looking forward to the sequel. One thing should be said for sure: the cartoon "The Smurfs: The Lost Village" took the story of the blue men to a new level.

Songs of the Smurfs

The most popular song of the Smurfs, for all the time of their existence, is, of course, the composition from the 2011 movie The Smurfs. Even at the mere mention of little men, this motif begins to sound in my head. The music for the 2011 film The Smurfs was composed by Heitor Pereira. Based on the film, a soundtrack with 36 tracks was released.

The most popular song of the Smurfs in 2011 and in the history of the blue men in general:

La-la, la-la-la-la!
Let's have fun!
La-la, la-la-la-la!
Smurf day after day!
Well, don't be discouraged
Rather smile!
Catch happiness by the tail
And have fun with us!
La-la, la-la-la-la!
La-la, la-la-la-la!
La-la, la-la-la-la!
La-la, la-la-la-la!

Perhaps only songs from the cartoon "The Smurfs: The Lost Village" can compete in popularity with the soundtrack of 2011. In particular, the song written by Megan Trainor - "I" m a Lady ".

One of the best translations songs "I'm a Lady" in Russian:

I talk with my mouth full (ooh-ooh)
But there is no one better than me.
Yes, I'm cute in my own way
I don't play games, I'll always do whatever I want.

And I'm different

I don't talk like everyone else (But I don't worry about it).

Because I am a lady!

Because I am a lady
Let's! I am a real lady!
Hey my girls, show everyone that you are a lady!
Tell the whole world! Say you're proud to be a lady!

I know that I'm laughing too loud
And I cry too often
This is what evil tongues think.
But I'm ready to give you so much love!

I don't move like them (But I don't care)
I don't move like them (But I don't worry about it).
I know I'm a real diamond
I don't care about it, don't worry about it
Because I am a lady!

Because I am a lady
Yes I am a lady

Hey my girls, show everyone that you are a lady
Tell the whole world! Show that you are proud to be a lady!

I'm very sweet
I am very smart,

Do you feel the same? You can join me!
I want to see you dance, I want to hear you say
"I'm very, very sweet,
I am very smart,
And when I want, I can create a real masterpiece.
Do you feel the same? You can join me!"
I want to see you dance, I want to hear you say...

I'm not like them
I don't talk like them
I know I'm a real diamond

Because I am a lady!
I don't move like them
(But I don't worry about it)
I don't move like them
(But I don't worry about it)
I know I'm a real diamond
I don't worry about it, I don't worry about it.
Because I am a lady!

(Yeah) 'cause I'm a lady
(Hey yeah hey yeah)
I am, I am a lady
Hey my girls, show everyone that you are a lady
Tell the whole world! Show that you are proud to be a lady!
Hey my girls, show everyone that you are a lady
Tell the whole world! Show that you are proud to be a lady!

The Smurfs Games

The Smurfs are present not only in comics, cartoons and movies, many games are dedicated to them. The Smurfs are literally made to be video toy characters: agile, brave, fast and funny, they captivate the player instantly. Baby Smurfs are masters of all sorts of tricks, you can’t remain indifferent to them. Particularly popular are games for two, because the Smurfs are team players, and rpg games, where the Smurfs reveal their love of travel and curiosity.

We list the most popular toys about the Smurfs:

Adventure games: "The Smurfs: New Year”, “The Smurfs collect gifts”, “The Smurfs 2: The Smurfs Adventure”, the adventure game “Save the Smurfs”.

Smurfs games for two: The most popular of them is probably the Smurfs for two game. According to the plot of the game, Smurfette and Trickster are trying to gather mushrooms in the forest, but Gargamel has already set his traps, and his cat Azrael is not asleep. It is also worth noting in this category the already familiar to us from the walkers the game "The Smurfs 2: The Adventures of the Smurfs". In this toy, you can control two different characters using one keyboard.

In addition to adventure games and games for two, the Smurfs feel great in other game genres. It is worth paying attention to the following toys with their participation: "The Smurfs' Dinner", "The Smurfs Shoot a Cannon", "The Smurfs on Bicycles", "The Smurfs: Shootout in the District" and "The Smurfs Dress Up". The girls will really like the last toy.

Collectible figurines of the Smurfs

The Smurfs from Kinder Surprise

Kinder has released several series of figurine collections dedicated to the Smurfs. By the way, among Kinder Surprise collectors, blue men are often called "schlumpfs".

The very first series of figures "Kinder Surprise", dedicated to the Smurfs, came out already in 1983 - it appeared two years after the release of season 1 of the cartoon "The Smurfs". And to be more precise, this collection coincided with the release of season 3 of The Smurfs. By this point, the blue men were already very popular. It's funny that in Russia, initially, the Smurfs became known thanks to the Kinder figurines. The original name of the series is „Super Mini Schlumpf Parade – Erkennst du deinen Schlumpf?”. The collection includes twelve Smurf figurines, each of which has its own accessory, by which you can guess the name of the creature.

In 1984, a series of toys appeared - "Smurfs at the Olympics", the original name is "Olympiade der Schlumpfe". There are eight one-piece figures in the series, depicting very far from the Olympic sports, but very funny and funny, for example, such as sack jumps and blind man's blind. The series appeared simultaneously with the show of the 4th season of the series "The Smurfs".

In 1988, another collection on a sports theme starts - "Smurfs-footballers". The original name is "Die Fussball Schlumpfe". There are eleven players in the set and the referee is Papa Smurf. The episode corresponds to season 8 of The Smurfs.

In 1996, two collections of figurines were released at once - “Smurfs-Musicians” and “Smurfs-Gardeners”, but since there was no time gap between them and the figures are very similar, the collection is considered single or double. In each of the options, there are five figures with a common insert. Smurf figurines are modular. Based on these collections, in the same 1996, two super puzzles were released.

The Athlete Smurfs set was released in 2001. Original title: "Sportschlumpfe". The collection consists of ten prefabricated figurines. Stickers were attached to five of them.

The new Smurf collection for 2008 is called "Die Schlumpfe total verschlumpft". There are nine Smurfs in the set, but, in addition, there is a unique figure released in a limited edition of 50,000 copies, it repeats the shape of one of the standard figures, but is strikingly different in color. The 2008 collection is not quite ordinary. In the German version of the inserts, there is a hint that Papa Smurf messed up something with the spells, and everything turned upside down in the Smurf village - this can be seen from the figures that have accessories that do not match them. You need to collect them all and fix the error.

In 2010 Kinder Surprise released a set of Smurfs "I Puffi - Les Schtroumpfs". It has eight figures - Gargamel, the Smurfs and the Kid.

The next collection was dedicated to the 2013 Surfs cartoon. The original title is "Die Schlumpfe 2". The Kinder collection simultaneously served as an advertising campaign and started before the release of the Smurfs 2 cartoon. It consisted of nine toys depicting the main characters of the cartoon - Papa Smurf, Smurfette, Egghead, Clutch, Grumpy, Handsome, Gargamel, Splinter and Stout.

In some countries, for example, in Israel and China, the 2013 collection came out somewhat modified, this particular version is considered the most rare and valuable. It, like the main collection of 2013, is assembled from the characters of the cartoon "The Smurfs 2", but includes three more toys that were not included in the main series, the most original of which is a puzzle. And in Germany, where naturally the collection appeared earlier, there is information about the character on the inserts, which is not available in other countries.

The new Kinder series "The Smurfs: The Lost Village" appeared in 2016 before the release of the movie "The Smurfs: The Lost Village", which premiered in March 2017. The original name of the collection: "Smurfs: The Lost Village". It includes five figures of Smurfs - Papa Smurf, Smurfette, Strongman, Egghead and for some reason the Master, who is not a hero not only of the usual, but even of the full version of the cartoon "The Smurfs: The Lost Village" 2017. Four figures of the series have houses, but Papa Smurf does not have a house, but there is a table with flasks on which he can conduct his magical experiments. Separately, it is worth talking about cute houses, they open and you can look inside. Their interior, however, is very monotonous, but very cute and fabulous. Although the collection is dedicated to the history of The Smurfs: The Lost Village of 2017, it could be released in any year, for any season of the series or movie, since there is absolutely nothing from the plot of the Smurfs cartoon in 2017.

However, in Germany in 2017, another Kinder-Surprise collection went on sale, which, unfortunately, has not yet been presented in Russia. This set really reflects the story of the 2017 Smurfs cartoon - in addition to the figures of the Smurfs and Gargamel, you can find the inhabitants of the Forbidden Forest in it. And in this series dedicated to the history of "The Smurfs: The Lost Village" in 2017, there is a figure of Azrael - the cat Gargamel, which was not previously released in sets.

It should be noted that not only Kinder creates collectible figurines, and other manufacturers have released quite a few sets dedicated specifically to the cartoon The Smurfs: The Lost Village. For example, figurines of the Smurfs, which could be purchased in cinemas during the showing of the cartoon "The Smurfs: The Lost Village". The collection included five figures, very large and quite well-made - Clutch, Egghead, Smurfette, Smurfclover and Strongman.

Smurfs Burger King toys

The Burger King collection of Smurf figurines has become very popular. A total of six toys were presented, all of them based on the movie The Smurfs: The Lost Village. Her heroes are the most popular Smurfs of 2017: Smurfette, Papa Smurf, Egghead, Smurfville, Strongman and Clutch. In each set "The Smurfs at Burger King 2017" you can find a fairly accurate copy of the Smurf, and the figures are not very small - about 15 cm, and they can move their arms. But most importantly, the Burger King Smurfs are just a copy of the Smurfs 3 cartoon characters. There were no complaints about the quality of the figurines. In addition to toys, The Smurfs at Burger King 2017 sets include French fries, a chicken burger, juice and a wet wipe, as well as a discount coupon for the purchase of the next set.

The Smurfs at McDonald's

Didn't have time to rent full version cartoon "The Smurfs: The Lost Village", and on March 31, 2017, a series of toys based on this film appeared at McDonald's. Recall that world premiere The Smurfs-3 cartoon started on March 23, and in Russia the Smurfs: The Lost Village movie was shown on March 30, that is, on the eve of the release of the collection. And although McDonald's Smurf figurines are not perfect, they just have smurf houses. Each set includes a house, a paper insert and two figures with characters from the movie The Smurfs: The Lost Village. These are the well-known Smurfs - Papa Smurf, Smurfette, Strongman, Egghead, Clutzer - and the inhabitants of the Lost Village, as well as creatures from the Forbidden Forest. For example, most often a luminous rabbit goes to Smurfette's company, and a fire-breathing dragonfly, on which he flew in the cartoon "The Smurfs - 2017", goes to Clutzer. The Smurf houses from the McDonald's collection differ in the color of the roof. In total, McDonald's presents 10 sets dedicated to the 2017 Smurfs 3 cartoon.

We looked at the most popular collections of Smurf figurines - in fact, there are many more of them and, interestingly, most of them were released precisely on the story of The Smurfs: The Lost Village of 2017.

Public opinion

It would seem that what could be harmful in cartoons about the Smurfs? These are funny blue little men, very friendly and benevolent, but it turns out that not everything is so simple. According to psychologists, fictional characters that do not look like people do not allow the child to adequately assess the world around him, because of which he moves away from reality, plunging into fictional worlds.

It is also worth noting that The Smurfs is a series, and watching animated series causes addiction in children, which negatively affects their psyche. Many children watch The Smurfs all episodes in a row without stopping, which also greatly impairs their eyesight. Here is what a Russian scientist, Doctor of Psychology, Professor, specialist in child and developmental psychology, scientific director of the Moscow City Center for Psychological and Pedagogical Expertise of Games and Toys of the Moscow City Psychological and Pedagogical University, Elena Olegovna Smirnova, says about watching animated series by children, which, of course, itself, applies to the TV series "The Smurfs": "This is also one of the factors of psychological impact. This is a way of tying, tying to the screen. I watched one episode, it was cut short, or you know that there are more episodes, and already you seem to have to watch and find out what happened to the characters. So if you choose, then holistic cartoons, short, with a certain clear end. Plus, if this is a serial cartoon, the quality inevitably drops immediately. After all, this business is now very cynical. Manufacturers are not interested in children - they are interested in profit.

The fairy tale "The Smurfs" of 2017 is completely accused of being too bright. A very popular article found on literally every parenting site says: “Acid bright colors and fast-paced screen flash scenes oversaturate the psyche of children. If you watch such cartoons in the evening, the child will get too excited, and it will be difficult for parents to put him to bed. In addition, bright cartoons can negatively affect a child’s vision and even provoke an epileptic attack in sick children.” There is no direct evidence of a negative impact when watching the 2017 Smurfs cartoon, but many parents are afraid to show it to their children.

In favor of the Smurfs, it is worth saying that the blue men teach not just to be friends, living as one big friendly family, they show how necessary family values how important it is to bring joy to others, and that unity and support will help to overcome any difficulties. It has been noticed that parents who watched the Smurfs cartoon in their childhood later showed it to their children.

"We will learn more about the all-powerful Gargamel and how he uses the Smurfs for his magic, show how it all began, what really happens in the wizard's castle." It is not known whether the forecast will come true, but so far the 3rd full-length cartoon "The Smurfs" has been released by a completely different team and has nothing to do with the first two cartoons about the Smurfs.
  • Like everyone famous characters cartoons, blue men did not escape the fate of serving as a muse for possible confectioners and cooks. Cake "Smurfs", sweets, chocolate bars, chewing gum and lollipops - all this is produced with the image of characters from the cartoon "The Smurfs". But in terms of complexity, the Smurfs cake, of course, surpasses all other works of confectionery art. The small blue figurines on it are not for everyone, and they are often replaced with real toys. By the way, in this version, every mother can make the Smurfs cake for her baby, just take any cake and decorate it with blue characters, say, from the Burger King collection of Smurf toys.
  • If you watch all the episodes of The Smurfs in a row without stopping, then it will take 4 days 3 hours.

  • In total, exactly one hundred screenwriters took part in the work on all seasons of the Smurfs series.
  • In the TV series The Smurfs, all seasons and all series in a row, male roles in Russian are voiced by Dmitry Filimonov.
  • The name of the cartoon "The Smurfs: The Legend of Smurfy Hollow" in 2013 immediately, not without reason, is associated with the film "Sleepy Hollow".
  • Christopher Lennertz, whose genius is the music from The Smurfs: The Lost Village, also wrote the tunes for the very popular TV series Supernatural.
  • The story behind the song from The Smurfs: The Lost Village, written by Meghan Trainor, is very remarkable: it was created in one evening.
  • The only movie about the Magical Blue Men without such a prominent character as Gargamel is the 1976 cartoon The Smurfs and the Magic Flute.
  • It has been noticed that it is worth singing the song of the Smurfs "La-la, la-la-la-la", as the mood immediately improves. Don't believe? Try it yourself!

mother nature

0 0 0

Lady of nature, of all nature in the forest. She is the mythical embodiment of nature. She is able to control all natural phenomena in the world.

The "father" of the popular Smurfs was the Belgian artist Pierre Culliford, aka Peyo.

The Smurfs first appeared in comics in 1958, and as minor characters in one single episode in the comic book La Flute a six trous (Flute with six holes). Readers liked the little blue imps so much that they flooded the editors with letters asking them to create their own comic book starring the Smurfs. And such a book was published under the new title La Flute a six Schtroumpfs (The Flute of the Six Smurfs).

And since then, the Smurfs have come full circle from a small episode to movie stars, and the specially invented language of the blue men has spread faster than Esperanto or Volapuk.

Why are they blue?! - everything is simple here. Peio's wife, who worked with the artist, chose this particular color as the most suitable color. It could not be a human color, because the Smurfs are not people, the red is too aggressive, the green and brown merges with the color of the trees, so the blue remains.

Gradually, the Smurfs moved from comics to television, the publishers sent a pilot short film to the NBC channel, and at that time the head of NBC had a granddaughter who carried a plush Smurf with her everywhere, which surprised her grandfather very much and only after watching the sent series did he understand where such love for the Smurfs came from and decided to release an animated series.

The first feature film was planned to be released on the eve of the 50th anniversary of the Smurfs, but, unfortunately, was delayed a bit. The film differs from the classic series in that the characters were transferred to modern world, combining computer animation and the game of live actors. The creators of The Smurfs were very worried about how the animated characters would come to life in the real world. The characters in the frame should not be too toy, plastic, but at the same time they should not be too “human”, they should look like people from another planet. And everything worked out, especially the eyes, which are simply amazing and most of the emotions are transmitted through them.

The second movie just came out, but the makers of The Smurfs have confirmed that a third series will be released soon (planned release date 2015), and if all goes well, then maybe more episodes await us.

Do you know that

  • The filmmakers chose actress Katy Perry to voice the characters by simply blindly listening to recordings of the artists' voices. She had no idea who the Smurfs were, so she did not watch the original 1981 film as a child - conservative parents considered it frivolous.
  • The growth of the dwarfs is verified with the utmost precision and is 7.5 inches (19 cm). The value was obtained in the course of long and varied experiments - if they become a little higher, they will lose their charm. And smaller creatures will not be able to adequately interact with the objects of the human world.
  • Sony Pictures Imageworks animators specifically studied the structure of human skin when developing textures so that the blue smurfs did not look like "alien".

Plot

Beware, the text may contain spoilers!

In the Smurf Village, preparations are in full swing for the celebration of the Blue Moon Festival and everyone is busy. But Clutzer, who violated the ban, inadvertently opens the way to the village for the enemies. All its inhabitants flee, except for a small group that happened to be at the Forbidden Falls. They are sucked in and thrown out in modern New York, but Gargamel, who needs all the Smurfs for experiments, follows them.

A group of toddlers meet Patrick and Grace Winslow, who allow them to move into their apartment. The next day, in search of the Star Count, the Smurfs sneak into Anjelou Cosmetics, Patrick's workplace, unwittingly annoying him. Meanwhile, Gargamel, using an elixir from Smurfette's hair, rejuvenates his superior's elderly mother and enlists her help. But he does not take into account the realities of another world and ends up behind bars, from where he later escapes with the help of magic.

Papa Smurf has calculated their current coordinates and can make their way home, but a teleportation spell is needed. Patrick guessed that he could be found in an old bookshop, but Clutter, playing with a laptop, sends the wrong letter, and the designer is furious. The Smurfs enter the store on their own, find the right book, but Gargamel, who follows them, takes possession of the dragon rod and captivates Papa Smurf.

The action moves to Belvedere Castle - using the hairs from the prisoner's beard, the sorcerer teleports the entire Smurf people in one place, to his device, with a powerful spell. A battle begins, to which Patrick and the others join, defeating the wizard in a difficult battle - the Clutzer hit him with his own weapon. The Smurfs return home, the designer gets a promotion, and soon he and Grace have a son, whom they name "Blue" (blue).

The premiere of the third film about the blue gnomes has not yet taken place in Russia, and he is already being accused of feminism. main character Smurfette despaired of finding her calling in native village and dragged three of her friends through forests full of mysterious creatures to hell - to look for a lost village where knowledgeable smurfs can explain to her - who she is and why she was blinded.

It is still difficult to say whether the cartoon can be called feminist (considering that at the beginning of the film Smurfette was not particularly useful in her native village and went in search of the meaning of life), but in our arsenal some interesting facts about the main characters of the cartoon were lost, which you need to know before going in the movie theaters.

The Smurfs are from the 1960s

Belgian artist Peyo (Pierre Cullifort) came up with blue gnomes when his car broke down in the woods. While Pierre was waiting for help, he walked deep into the thicket and saw large mushrooms. It is not known whether Peyo tried them or not, but it was then that he came up with the idea to make comics about gnomes living in mushrooms.

According to legend, in the process of creating the first characters, Peyo mixed up a brown pencil with a blue one ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Papa Smurf is a revolutionary

The favorite headdress of the Smurfs - a white cap - is known to historians as Phrygian. AT Ancient Rome a similar headdress was red, symbolized freedom and was called "pileus". Later, the Phrygian cap became the prototype for the caps of the Jacobins during the Great french revolution- since then, the association with the word "freedom" has become even more entrenched in him.

In the Smurf village, the heroes wear white caps, and the main and wisest - Papa Smurf - wears a historical red headdress.

Smurfette was made to embroil all the other Smurfs.

According to the plot of the original comics (which were released with the participation of the creator of the blue gnomes), Smurfette was created by the evil wizard Gargamel to sow envy and discord among the close-knit male team of the "blue" village. Gargamel's recipe for Smurfette was something like this: sugar, spices, crocodile tears, bird's brain, snake tongue, cat's cunning, peacock's vanity, magpie's chatter and a stubborn temper on the tip of a knife.

(Original: "Sugar and spice but nothing nice; a dram of crocodile tears; peck of bird brain; the tip of an adder's tongue; half a pack of lies, white, of course; the slyness of a cat; the vanity of a peacock; the chatter of a magpie; the guile of a vixen and the disposition of a shrew; and of course the hardest stone for her heart".)

And after this, how can a cartoon be called feminist?

Smurfette is not the only young lady in the village

In addition to the most popular Smurfette, two more female representatives live in the village - Sasetta Smurf and Nanny Smurf.

The Evil Wizard - originally from the book by Francois Rabelais

In the satirical novel Gargantua and Pantagruel by François Rabelais, the name Gargamel was given to Gargantua's mother, a giantess who gave birth to a son through her right ear.
