Dances from TNT is the Russian version of the Western format of the talent program, in which the best dancer in Russia is chosen. On the air of the channel, the premiere of the first season took place on August 23, 2014.
The annual broadcast focuses on the selection among thousands of dancers from all over the country and near abroad the most skilled craftsman. Persons from 16 to 36 years old can take part in the project. Competitions are divided into 4 stages: "Casting in the cities of the Russian Federation", "Sifting out 24 participants for the project", "Competitive concerts" and finally "Final". The selection of participants, and then further elimination are carried out by three judges who look at the small number of the participant, evaluate his skill and make a decision about his future fate. The jury consists of two permanent judges, director and choreographer Yegor Druzhinin and dancer-choreographer Miguel, as well as a changeable presenter, whose place has already been visited by more than 20 Russian show business stars. The participants who have passed the selection are divided into two teams: the first is prepared by Druzhinin, and the second by Miguel. Then they will have to show their skills in the final competitions. The winner of the competition, who is chosen by the audience by SMS voting in the final, will receive fame, as well as a prize of three million Russian rubles.

“Dancing on TNT. Season 2"– continuation of the popular dance show on "TNT". Anyone who knows how to dance can take part in the show. Among the applicants are experienced professionals, and ambitious amateur dancers, and self-taught for the first time on stage.
Casting for the selection of participants takes place in the largest cities of Russia, where the jury members are professional choreographers Egor Druzhinin and Miguel- trying to select the best of the best.

The opinion of the viewers is taken into account during the SMS-voting, which subsequently affects the decision of the project managers. Every week, several participants leave the show, while the rest continue to fight for the title of the best dancer in the country and a prize of three million rubles.
Miguel, mentor: “In the new season I will be much tougher, and I will not trust people so blindly. I'm not going to arrange a rematch for the members of Yegor Druzhinin's team, because this is not an end in itself. We, of course, will strive for victory, but it is dictated to us by viewers. For many viewers, judging by the feedback, I made a mistake last year by not taking Anton Panufnik to the final, because I know that he would have won for sure. His popularity is much higher compared to Ilshat, but I acted honestly in relation to the dance project: I brought the dancer Alisa Dotsenko to the final, who is one degree higher than Anton. If I wanted to win by any means, then I would have acted differently then.
In the new season of the show Dancing on TNT season 2» The creators decided not to change their traditions, and Yekaterinburg again became the first city they came to in order to begin the selection of participants for the new season of the project. According to the judges, to get into the show you don't have to dance something new - dance what you can, but do it well. The participants amazed the jury members not only with their dance numbers, but also in terms of height. For example, for one participant it is 1 m 95 cm. Representatives of exotic countries - Cuba and New Zealand - were at the casting.

I have other tasks - to invite the right choreographers to the project, recruit the right dancers and do a lot of interesting numbers. Per last season we put in about 118. This year it will definitely be no less, so we need at least 50-60 of these 118 numbers to be interesting, memorable, smart and innovative numbers.”

The second concert of the largest dance show on Russian TV met the high standards set by the first broadcast of the second stage. Already in the general room, the audience was waiting for an unexpected turn - on the stage, in addition to the project participants, there will be a TNT star, who is familiar with dancing only as an observer.
After common room show host Laysan Utyasheva announced the results of the first public vote. This is an incredibly exciting moment for everyone - for the first time the participants will understand how important it is to like the audience, and the audience - that you need to vote for your favorites. On December 19, 2015, the audience learned the names of the four finalists. It is from this quartet of the best that the winner of the project, who deserves the title of the best dancer in the country, should now be selected.
This time, the contestants were given the opportunity to appear in not one, but two numbers, so that the audience and mentors could get a better look at them before making a final decision. The audience saw both solos, duets and trios - and all this in crazy scenery and trendy tracks.
The concert was opened by the Flyographers, already familiar from last season, who took 3rd place at the World hip hop dance championship (HHI) in Las Vegas in 2014. Also in the show finale DANCING» spectators were waiting for: a couple of mimes sharing one prison cell; incredibly atmospheric ethnic dance; dialogue between father and son family values; two drunk but smiling women in a karaoke bar; a story about three such similar and at the same time such different women's destinies; a dance about a hedgehog and his friend a hare and much, much more ...

About the show Dance! season 2
Selection of participants in the show "Dance!" consists of several stages. From the questionnaires sent and those who came to the casting, the creators of the project selected 320 candidates. It is they who will be admitted to the on-air casting, as a result of which the judges of the project will select a hundred of the best dancers.
Next, the participants will have a big dance gathering, where teachers will test their ability to work with a choreographer, learning ability, communication skills, as well as the ability to work in pairs. After this stage, 24 participants will remain in the project - 12 couples will be presented to the audience, who will become the main characters of the project. For each broadcast, couples choose by drawing lots which dance they are preparing (latin, ballroom dance, hip-hop, contemporary, folk, jazz) and with which choreographer. According to the results of the voting of judges and viewers, after each broadcast, one of the couples leaves the project.
The contestants perform in pairs, but the jury and TV viewers evaluate the performances of each participant separately. At the end of the show, the audience will learn the name of the best dancer in the country - the winner of the project.
