A similar program first appeared on May 16, 1956 on the radio, hosted by Agniya Barto. Initially, the program was broadcast on the RTR channel once a month on Saturdays at 13:00 live. The first few episodes were hosted by Oksana Naichuk. On June 13, 1998, Igor Kvasha joined her. At the end of 1998, the contract between the RTR channel and the VID television company ended. Soon a new contract was signed, but the TV company no longer produced this program for RTR.
