The reason for the formation was the lack of songs about the aforementioned city.

As a result of this event, two Andreys decided to write several songs. All this happened in one of the apartments in Atkarsk with a guitar, vodka and canned fish. Then such hits as “When I went to the 1st grade”, “Baby-son”, “How difficult it is to live in Atkarsk without booze” were written. In the end, there were enough songs and the idea came up to record them in instrumental processing and sell them in A. Volkov's store where A. Golubev worked.

Phonograms for the first album were kindly recorded by Vladimir Shnurovozov, and on one of the frosty January days in the studio of the ZhD club, the first album of the “Bardak” group called “City of Bad Luck” was recorded. But the authors were not satisfied with the quality of the recording, and the album was not put on sale, but it had already begun to circulate, rewritten in a pirated way. At the end of June 96, the first album was rewritten and remixed. Sound engineering duties were performed by Igor Avgustinich Ageev.

The first original design of the album is in the form of an interception of the negotiations of an alien ship, which unexpectedly went out of order on the territory of the Atkarsky region, and its pilots mistook the city of Atkarsk for the capital of Russia. Songs Authors talk mainly about Everyday life people of this city, about their way of life and customs, about the peculiarities of the above-mentioned regional center. There are also songs that are somewhat non-standard, which the Authors call “mixes”. They are harmoniously sounding pieces of various well-known songs. In those places where the Authors did not have enough brains to figure out which song to take a fragment from, they composed the music themselves.

Inspired by the results of their undertakings, the authors decided to continue writing their opuses. Thus was born “The Legend of the Good Vampire - 1”, “Helen”, “Wait, locomotive!” . But the cassette “Karaoke in Russian” that fell into the hands of the authors served as the main material for the album. So, within a few months, the second album of the group “New songs about the old” was prepared. Just like the first time, some of the phonograms were kindly recorded by Vladimir Shnurovozov, and

Augustinich, I. Ageev, was again in charge of the sound and sound. IN new album more songs were included with the guitar, but the album itself was somewhat weaker than the first. Along with excellent texts like “Lenochka”, “In the City Court” there were also frankly raw ones. The design of the album also speaks of the negligence of the Authors in this matter. The only thing that saved the album was its cover, which, as in the first case, was drawn by Andrey Golubev and kindly replicated by Alexey Andreev. Also, the autographs of the Authors left on the cover were a good present for the listeners. On the back there was a list of songs in the form of a flip.

However, the authors were not upset. Within two years, solid material for the third album was accumulated. It is also worth noting that periodically all new songs were recorded in the form of amateur recordings. They were not distinguished by an enviable quality and were intended only for a narrow circle of friends. At these acoustic “concerts” there are such masterpieces as “Hairy Bumblebee”, “Three Sisters”, some set of ditties about Stirlitz, cartoon characters and residents of the city of Atkarsk.

At these acoustic “concerts” there are such masterpieces as “Hairy Bumblebee”, “Three Sisters”, some set of ditties about Stirlitz, cartoon characters and residents of the city of Atkarsk. Continuation of the story ... Due to the crisis of 1998, the studio of the ZhD club was closed along with the club itself. By that time, the Authors could not assemble a more or less working studio on their own, so they wrote songs (and this process does not stop to this day), and recorded them on an ordinary “soap box”. True, in 1999 there was an attempt to record a third album at John's studio, but the recordings disappeared along with the last one. In search of food, the difficult one threw Senor Golubev all the way to Portugal and for a year and a half there was indeed a break in the work of the group, however, by the time his colleague arrived, Senor Mikhailenko managed to prepare backing tracks for new songs and in the summer of 2002 a video version of the third album was recorded. At the beginning of 2004, it finally became possible to record in a high-quality form the reworked album "ReaNimation", which was released in November 2004. Not stopping there, literally from the first days of 2005, the group began recording the album "Crooked Efir", which, as planned, was released in December 2005. Then all the material that was not included in the previous albums was recorded, which resulted in the CD "Children's Drawings". At the end of 2007, the BARDAK group recorded the sixth album "BARDAK AKBAR". Today the BARDAK group functions exclusively as an Internet project and has plans to record best songs, according to the results of downloading those from the site. New songs and materials are available and periodically written. And in connection with the fifteenth anniversary of the BARDAK group in 2010, a new anniversary album "15 years" was presented, which included mostly new songs and a couple of remakes of songs from previous albums. On December 31, 2011, the BARDAK group presented its listeners with the eighth numbered album - "Erotic Dreams", consisting of ten songs, including four collections of ditties. At the beginning of 2013, the ninth numbered album of the group BARDAK - Uncensored was released. Songs from Soviet films, in which a bardak vision of the content of famous and popular songs of Soviet cinema sounded, and a song from the famous musical "Notre Dame de Paris - Notre Dame Cathedral" sounds as a bonus.
