Youth popular domestic group 5sta Family is a team of bright self-sufficient people: they organized themselves and perform songs mostly of their own authorship. The guys who “shot” after the hit “I will” are trying to keep the bar of popularity. They are known to the general public, especially young people, they give solo concerts, shoot high-quality videos and release hit albums. Who they are, how they met and what they went through - we will consider further.
The origin of the team
The group was formed in 2003 by merging a couple of musical projects: NB (creator - Vasily Kosinsky) and AzonE. Two talented musicians who met in the virtual space and agreed on the basis of the same tastes, driven by fresh ideas, decided to collect musical group. So, Valery Efremov, together with Vasily Kosinsky, became the backbone of the 5sta Family team. Later, the guys invited Anton Radaev and Alexander Sandrik to their place. When the male company was diluted by the incoming vocalist Loya (O. Zosulskaya), the first line-up of the 5sta Family group turned out. In 2008, the musicians recorded the first single - the composition "Night City".
Through hardship to the stars
The guys were passionate about writing music and lyrics, tried to actively promote their tracks on the Internet and organize the first concerts. But still at that time it did not bring them much fame. The situation changed a little when in 2006 the group took part in one musical project channel "Muz-TV" ("Make children") and took second place there. The production company "Music People" (MusicPeople) became interested in the guys and offered them to sign a contract. Young musicians decide to use this chance and pull out a "winning ticket".
Breakthrough
Fateful for 5sta Family was 2009, when they, in tandem with the group "23:45", released a video for the song "I'll Be". It instantly becomes a radio hit, constantly flashes on music channels and surprises with a growing number of downloads on the Internet. The guys begin to understand what real popularity is, and, inspired, delight fans with new hits: “Why” and “At a call away”. In addition, together with old acquaintances "23:45" they are recording a soundtrack for the New Year's film "Christmas Trees".
Personnel changes
In 2011, the composition of the 5sta Family group undergoes changes for the first time. Soloist Loya, preferring solo career, leaves the team. According to rumors, parting with "classmates" was cool, not without conflicts and mutual claims. But a replacement was quickly found - it was the sweet and sweet-voiced Yulianna Karaulova, who came to the "family" almost from the stage of the last "Star Factory". With the advent of the girl, the group sounded in a new way: with great charm and refined sophistication.
Debut album
In 2012, the guys recorded their first album "Why". His presentation became a very important stage in their creative life, and even coincided with the birthday of the soloist Yu. Karaulova.
The young group shared this joyful event with famous musician friends: Igor Matvienko, N. Podolskaya, Vlad Sokolovsky, Dima Koldun, Leonid Rudenko, Nyusha, Hi-Fi groups and Reflex.
In the same year, 5sta Family shot a colorful video for the song “Knock Knock”, as well as the song “We Are Together”. These compositions have become no less popular than the team's previous hits.
The winter of 2012 brought the group useful experience- participation in a global project with the world famous company "Coca-Cola", for which the guys composed the title track "Wake up". This lineup of 5sta Family seemed like the perfect musical team.
First awards
Active tour activity groups, rotation on the leading music channels, communication with fans on social networks became the prerequisites for the emergence of music awards, the first of which was the "Best Hip-Hop Project" from Muz-TV. In total, since 2009, the guys have been noted:
- media center "Russian Radio" - two figurines of the "Golden Gramophone";

- music festival "Song of the Year";
- the annual award "God of the Ether" (the most rotated track).
The hits of the group repeatedly flashed in the top tens and twenties of various music channels. Since then, competitors have not dared to call the guys a team of one song.
Group 5sta Family: new line-up
By the beginning of 2015, two people left the group, and they were left with three. This is all the same backbone - Vasily Kosinsky with Valery Efremov, vocalist Yulianna Karaulova. The latter, by the way, has long been tormented by dreams of a solo career, and for some time she tried to realize them, combining it with work in a group.
Spring 2015 was marked by another change in 5sta Family. Lera Kozlova (ex-member of the girl group "Ranetki") came to the group as a soloist. She easily found a common language with the rest of the participants, and the guys worked together for almost six months. At the end of 2015, Yulianna Karaulova's contract expired, and with a clear conscience, after working for four years, she went on a solo "swimming". But to this day he continues to be friends with the musical group.
So, the current composition of the 5sta Family group: Lera Kozlova, V. Efremov, V. Kosinsky. At the end of 2015, the guys "in a new form" released a video for the track "Metko", which became a very frequent guest on television and radio.
In 2016, the group was marked by the release of two singles: "Erasing the Boundaries" and "T-shirt", for which a video was also shot. 2017 pleased fans with the release of only one single "Vesuvius" so far. But the year has not started so long ago, so everything is still ahead.

The current composition of the 5sta Family group is associated with fashion, advancement and high professionalism in the field of pop music. Compositions with original melodies, light texts and modern sounding predict the group's lasting success, which is what we wish it to be.
Fans started talking about the return of singer Loi to 5sta Family after the release of the video for the song "High-rise buildings", where the artist played the role of a passerby. As it turned out, such a reception was not at all accidental. The other day, members of the group Valery and Vasily announced in their microblogs that Loya would again sing with them. Judging by the comments, the fans were pleased with this change.

By the way, last concert with the participation of Lera will be held on December 2 at Nizhny Novgorod, after which Loya will again become a soloist. 5sta Family (formerly "5ivesta family"; read "fivesta family") is a Russian R'n'B band.
The group was created in 2003 by the merger of two musical projects: NB and AzonE. At first there were 5 members in the group. This is where the band's name came from. Members of the group V-kes (Vikes), CoolB (Cool B) and Tony (Tony) met on the Internet and decided to form a musical group. Later vocalist Olya (Loya) joined them.
The first single from 5ivesta Family was the composition "Night City".
In May 2009, 5ivesta Family, together with the group "23:45", released the single "I'll be" on the radio.
The song becomes one of the most popular on the radio, it lasted 10 weeks at the top of the Russian radio chart. At the end of 2009, the song became the fourth most downloaded single in Russia. The single became platinum in Russia (as a ring back tone), with sales of 200,000 copies.
The group's third single, "Why?" also becomes a number one hit on radio in Russia. On June 18, the song topped the Russian digital singles chart.
In September 2010, the group shot a video for the new song "At the distance of a call."

The group was engaged in rehearsals and concerts in the clubs of Moscow and toured the cities of Russia. At the end of 2007, the group signed a contract with the MusicPeople record label. After a long break, the bright and daring ex-vocalist of the Ranetki group Lera Kozlova returns to the stage. Now she sings in 5sta Family. The creative path of the girl was not easy. the site was the first to whom Lera told about the betrayal of the former producer, attempts to build a family with the lead singer of the group Quest Pistols and working as a florist in a flower shop.
Lera Kozlova has no professional music education, but there is a natural ear and love for music. Her creative way began in the children's ensemble "Pinocchio", where she sang and played the drums. These same skills brought her success in 2005 as part of the Ranetki group. Three years later, the girl left the team, tried to take place as a solo artist, and then suddenly disappeared. May 23 Kozlova in the company of members of the 5sta Family group. Just what is behind this sudden return?
Lera Kozlova: I have known the guys from this team for ten years. We met on the same musical project. And in March of this year, when I seriously thought about returning to the stage, Vasya called me (soloist of the band Vasily Kosinsky, - note .. That's how spontaneously we started working together, and recently announced officially that I new soloist groups. . I am very excited, as if for the first time.
OK.: Because at some point I decided for myself that the stage is not mine. I wanted a simple and quiet life.
“I hoped to build a family. In a pause, I tried myself in floristry, made jewelry. But for four years of silence, I missed the stage. Many thanks to my fans, who did not forget me, wrote to me every day that they love and wait. I wanted to continue my career as a singer, but had little idea how to do it. I had no songs, no team that could help me. Not everything is as simple as it seems"
website: How did the public accept your return?
OK.: Basically, people are happy with my appearance, only a few write that I don’t belong in 5sta Family. There will always be such reviews, and I am also grateful for them: there is an incentive to become better and show how these people are wrong.
. How do you remember that time today?
OK.: In "Ranetki" we did not know how to play the musical instruments. Just every day they gathered at the rehearsal base and studied at Beatles songs, Rolling Stones... And then they recorded something of their own and went to different festivals. Some laughed at us, others admired us.
website: Who helped the young Ranetki group?
OK.: Our Zhenya, a keyboard player (Evgenia Ogurtsova - a member of the Ranetki group, - site note) had an acquaintance Sergey Melnichenko - a talented arranger and composer. He became our producer.
OK.: We had a girl in the group, but her parents forbade her to study music - they were afraid that she would abandon her studies. She had to leave, and I was instructed to take a seat at the microphone. At that time I was 17 years old, I did not fully understand what was happening, and just got high. I have to sing - I sing, I have to play - I play, although I have no musical education at all. Apparently, I'm just lucky in life.
website: A little later, you became the heroines of the series "Ranetki" on STS ...
OK.: We took our songs to STS, where they filmed the series "Kadetstvo" then. Everyone liked the songs and became the soundtrack. We didn't even expect to be so lucky. And then the general producer of STS Vyacheslav Murugov decided to make a series about us.
OK.: The scriptwriters “decorated” our characters a little to make the plot more interesting. But there were coincidences.
“According to the plot, they kick me out of the team. In life at that time I was still in the group, there was no talk that I would leave. But as soon as we played this moment on the screen, it was repeated in reality. To be honest, I don't regret being kicked out. Otherwise, I wouldn’t be in the 5sta Family group now ”
website: It is true that you were told about the dismissal literally ten minutes before big concert in Luzhniki?
OK.: Exactly. It was insulting and ashamed for yesterday's colleagues. The girls were silent to the last, but I considered them friends. "Ranetki" was everything for me, I spent all my time with the girls. But everything collapsed due to some producer stupidity.
OK.: The fact that I was kicked out, I learned from the guys from the Nine Lives group. They came up to me before the concert and said that they also lost a person, because Nyuta, their drummer, has been rehearsing with Ranetki for a long time. Then I went to Serezha (Sergey Melnichenko - producer of the Ranetki group, - site note) to find out why I was being kicked out of the team, and he just patted me on the shoulder and said: "Well, you play for now." I was taken aback and approached the girls. They so embarrassedly and innocently offered to play a concert, and after talking, only I didn’t need all this.
website: There were a lot of rumors that your unsuccessful romance with the group's producer Sergey Melnichenko was the reason for your dismissal, is that true?
OK.: I will put it this way: there were ardent feelings on his part that prevented him from reasoning and working soberly.

website: Is it jealousy?
OK.: It is possible to say so. He considered me as a girl, and I saw him only as a friend. And it offended him. Serezha, thank God, did not harass, but courted very actively, spoke loudly about his feelings.
. Where were the parents looking?

website: Do you communicate with former colleagues now?
OK.: It happens. There are no more insults. Now I myself do not know what I would do if I were in their place. Girls have their own lives, each is trying to realize herself in a solo career. Anya Rudneva got married and is expecting her second child. She and her husband have their own studio, she writes songs, makes jewelry, and soon she will have a new collection of dresses. Both Zhenya and Lena have solo careers. Natasha lives with Sergei, they have a family. To be honest, I don't know what they do. I don't communicate with them.
website: How did your career develop after leaving the team?
OK.: Then I met with Nikita Goryuk and lived in Kyiv, where the KRUZHEVA Music company, which also works with Quest Pistols, took care of me. Producer Yuri Bardash took me under his wing. This period in my life means a lot to me. His team gave me wonderful songs that tell about my fate.
website: And what are you?
OK.: I am simple, romantic. Yes, I love ripped jeans. But at the same time I remain very gentle. I can make faces, fool around, but these are all childish pranks.
site: Solo career started well: 3 clips came out, and suddenly you disappeared.
OK.: At some point, I was very tired. I no longer performed in the Ranetki group, and the shooting in the series continued. In addition, I started solo project. From morning to late evening shooting of the series, at night - rehearsals of solo songs. I realized that I simply did not have enough time to quickly record an album and start performing. There was no strength, and I threw it all away.
OK.: Yes.
“At one time I worked in a flower shop, and I managed to create bouquets, but selling them is no longer my story. In fact, I don't like money so much... Of course, we depend on it, but it's still somehow not very pleasant to deal with it. With a friend and Nikita, we began to deal with jewelry - we bought the material ourselves, fantasized, created earrings. They posted it on the Internet, but it didn’t work out, and it took a decent amount of time ”
website: Your romance with Nikita did not work either. Is your heart busy right now?
OK.: I am free. At one time, I decided that I would build a family, I sacrificed my career for this, but everything turned out to be in vain. It was necessary to continue to sing, then maybe something happened with the family. But if I fall in love, then I completely dissolve in a person, and generally score on myself.
OK.: We have different outlooks on life. Plus, two creative people, each with their own ambitions - it was hard for us together. We still communicate, the relationship is very warm, but we are not made for each other.
OK.: You know, when a person says that he is ready, these are words. But in fact, maybe he really was not ready, and if he wanted a family, then later.
website: If you draw a parallel, then Quest Pistols now new stage and new concept. And you have a dramatic change in life.
OK.: Nikita and I are sincerely happy for each other. I was at the Quest Pistols show in November. Very talented guys, cool team, it's a pleasure to watch them. I wish them only success. Nikita also says that I will definitely succeed.
website: Many call your appearance in the 5ivesta Family group the last chance to stay in show business.
OK.: If it weren't for 5sta Family, I would still have taken up a solo career again. I had offers from different producers. But I met people with whom we are on the same wavelength. I left it to chance and I'm waiting, because I don't quite understand what I need. I wouldn't have joined this group if I didn't like it.
Soloists of "5sta Family" do not sleep with each other
The 5sta Family group has been successfully operating in the domestic show business for eight years. In the spring of 2011, Yulianna KARAULOVA joined the company of Vasily Kosinsky and Valery Efremov to replace Olga ZASULSKAYA (LOYA). About personal life, all three prefer to laugh it off, stating that they and the three of them are fine. But the veil of secrecy was lifted to the correspondent of Express Gazeta. The most talkative was, of course, Yulia.
Yulianna, you are a participant in the fifth season of the Star Factory. On the project, she was remembered not so much by bright numbers, but by a vivid romance with Ruslan Masyukov. And they say he's gay. It's true?
- At the "Factory" I was very small, especially for show business, where everyone plays adult games. Then I didn’t think about PR: I just lived with everyone under the same roof. Ruslan and I quickly found a common language: we kissed, hugged ... He always treated me with tenderness. Since we did not have sex in the "star house" because of the cameras placed everywhere, I was not able to check Ruslan's orientation. But then again, there is the so-called "gay" love: when a guy admires a girl, but at the same time does not feel sexual attraction to her.
So you didn't even ask him?
- It didn't cross my mind! Maybe he's bi-sexual?! Actually, I don't see anything like that. In show business, every cross-counter looks at its floor.
- Were there any serious relationships in your life after the TV show?
- Oh, literally everyone was crammed into my suitors! After the "Factory" we went on a big tour. Our guys were getting more and more into themselves - I mean Mike Mironenko, Miguel and others. But the fans ran after the bus, guarded at the hotel, passed love notes and plush toys at concerts. There was one serious romance during this period, it lasted two years. I almost got married.
- How did you meet?
- In the park. I went to the university for classes, and Pasha walked there. He says he fell in love at first sight. Then he found out who and what I am. First he met my friends, and then he got to me.
Why didn't the wedding take place?
He didn't like what I sang. For the sake of Pasha, I stopped my career for a while. He proposed to me, but we soon realized that it was better to remain friends.
- And then?
- Nothing serious. After my relationship with Pasha, I left for London for six months. She studied at the economic school. She returned six months later and if she had not done this, she would have stayed there forever.
- What was waiting for you in Russia?
- Nothing. I went to work at MTV, then - in a magazine. And I met the guys from the 5sta Family group. I interviewed them, they remembered me. And then, when they were looking for a soloist, they called me to a casting, which I passed.
- What are the relationships within the team?
- At first, when she first appeared, Valera and Vasya, like normal heterosexual men, reacted very violently to me: they looked at each other, showed signs of attention. But we realized almost immediately: relationships and work are incompatible things. They just became close friends. Now they are laughing at me, more precisely, at my personal life. I won’t say that I’m windy or often change partners, but there was a case when one guy drew love messages on the pavement in front of my house, and the other one I met covered them over. One left flowers on my car, the other periodically threw them away.

- As soon as Karaulova came to us, a black streak began in my personal life, - says Valery Efremov, the soloist of "5sta Family", - Not a single girl could stand even two weeks: scenes of jealousy began, scandals because of my working relationship with Yulia . The girls did not understand: “How are they just friends?! You have exactly love affair at work!" And recently I found my soul mate, but due to the tight concert schedule, meetings with my beloved are not enough, like oxygen.
