We draw a hedgehog in kindergarten with children. How to draw a hedgehog: step by step instructions

What kind of small and cute animal, whose back is covered with sharp needles that protect it in case of danger? Guessed? This is a hedgehog, which is often spoken of in children's poems and fairy tales. When frightened, it curls up into a ball, exposing its spines outward, so predators cannot get close to bite or eat it. Its needles serve not only as a defense, but also as a help during the transfer of fruits, and other food, to their mink. His black nose and eyes cause only tenderness, but if you manage to inspire confidence in this baby, you will be able to touch his soft paws with sharp claws. Here we will draw such a cute animal in this step-by-step lesson using a graphics tablet. But you can also use a regular pencil.

Tools and materials:

  1. Graphic tablet and pen (Wacom Intos Draw was used, but any will do) connected to a computer or laptop.
  2. Adobe Photoshop software.

You can also use a simple pencil, eraser and paper.

Stages of work:

Step 1. In Adobe Photoshop, click File - New. Specify the dimensions of the sheet: height - 2000 pixels. and width - 1200 pixels. We press OK, after which a sheet will appear on which we will draw. Adjust the brush: let it be black, with a size of 5. Draw a large circle in the middle of the sheet. From it we will continue building the body of the hedgehog, so it will be more convenient to do it:

Step 2 Now add four circles of different sizes. The largest circle will be on the left, it will serve as the basis for the ear, the other two for the eye and one for the nose:

Step 3 Let's draw the outline of the muzzle of the animal. The hedgehog's nose and mouth become visible, as well as the inside of the ear:

Step 4 We change the brush to a thinner one - 3. There are also small needles on the muzzle, so we outline them along the edge. There will be two clear highlights on the left eye. Let's outline the border, from which there will be a sharp transition to a dark tone:

Step 5 Increase the brush to 20. Let's sketch the eyes and nose completely, only making a slight tonal overflow. There is also a glare on the nose, not as bright as on the eye, but it is visible:

Step 6 Draw short needles and hair with a thin brush (3) under the ear and lower body, outlining the contours of the body. Add two front paws on which the hedgehog will lean. Remove extra lines with an eraser:

Step 7 We continue drawing small needles and wool on the muzzle of the animal. Now you can remove the lines with the eraser tool, which previously served as a sketch. On the right, we add several long antennae that extend far beyond the muzzle:

Step 8 Above the head we can add large needles (brush size - 9), which, due to the large number, overlap each other, as if pushing each other:

Step 9 From the ear to the back, we will still draw large needles, but as they move away, we make them paler (we reduce the pressure). We do this because it's the background, it doesn't have to be the same as the foreground. This creates volume:

Step 10 We draw the nose with small needles (brush - 3), which have a high density around the eye, on the bend of the muzzle, near the mouth and around the mustache:

Step 11 Draw a drop shadow under the hedgehog's body (around the legs). On top of it from the body with the tip of the eraser, add strokes, creating needles:

Step 12 We have to make the ears voluminous, using hatching. The light falls from left to right, so the left ear captures most of the shadow, while the right ear is completely absorbed by it:

Step 13 Add a shadow between the large needles. It should be denser at the transition from small needles to large ones. Outline the paws, adding four sharp claws on each:

Step 14 Between the ears, we will also work out the shadow from the large needles. In this section, we detail in more detail, because it is in the foreground that the viewer's eye falls first of all:

It may seem at first glance that drawing a hedgehog is quite difficult for beginners. However, such thoughts come when looking at his prickly fur coat with many needles. But this is not so at all! They are drawn very easily and simply.

Necessary materials:

  • black marker;
  • simple pencil;
  • paper;
  • eraser;
  • colored pencils in yellow, black and brown.

Drawing steps:

1. The body of the hedgehog will be depicted as an oval. Such a simple figure may seem quite simple, but it is thanks to it that you can draw a lot of different drawings.

2. Now let's add a muzzle in the form of an elongated triangle on the right side.

3. Below, under the oval, draw the paws. They will be in the form of two small ovals. Of course, the hedgehog has not two, but four. But in a cartoon drawing, it will be enough to depict only one pair for a hedgehog located in profile.

4. Then draw a small circle on the right side of the body closer to the muzzle. This will be the ear. It should not be too small or too big.

5. Let's erase a part of this circle with an eraser and form a shape in the form of an elongated letter "c". We will also erase the auxiliary lines between the body and the muzzle. Let's draw the eye in the form of a tiny circle. The same size (and even larger) will be the tip of the nose on the muzzle. Let's not forget about the paws, on which the primary lines should also be wiped.

6. Now we partially circle the pencil lines of the step-by-step hedgehog drawing with a black marker. In place of the body, where there are prickly needles, lines can be omitted. Instead, freehand draw a lot of short lines that will serve as needles for him.

7. We begin to decorate the hedgehog with a yellow pencil. We will go through them even in those places where there are needles, because this will be the base color, both for the body of the hedgehog, and for the muzzle and paws.

8. And now you can take a brown pencil and tone the body with a muzzle to a certain shade. At the bottom of the muzzle, the pressure of the pencil should be increased, as well as on the tops of the paws.

This concludes our creative work. Let this drawing please everyone who looks at it.

This forest dweller is very easy to draw. A funny little animal will surely please the eyes of your relatives and friends. Check out easy hedgehog drawing instructions, at the same time you will learn some interesting facts.

1. Draw an oblong horizontal oval with a pointed tip raised up on one side. This is the future muzzle of the animal.

2. Mark the tip of the nose with a black circle, but do not paint over it completely. A small white reflection will add realism to the drawing. Also, with a reflection, draw an eye for a hedgehog, then a smile, draw an ear and four paws.

3. Now draw one even row of needles around the hedgehog's body.

All hedgehogs have tails although they are not shown in the figures. Tail length - total 3 cm and under the needles it is not noticeable at all.

4. Add a few more rows of needles to completely cover the hedgehog's body. The more prickly needles there are, the more voluminous the hedgehog will turn out. The needles can be dark, or you can add a few light touches to them.

5. Color the forest dweller. The body and muzzle will be brown, the paws will be gray, and the nose will remain black. The hedgehog is ready!

You can draw such a hedgehog.

Paradox! How often on the pages of books we see a hedgehog that carries an apple or a pear on its needles, and involuntarily imagine how in winter it feeds on these simple supplies. However, in reality, hedgehogs eat insects, frogs, worms, and they don't need fruits for the winter- after all, in winter they ... sleep.

Dear friend! I hope drawing a hedgehog will bring you pleasure and pleasant emotions. Good luck!

In this lesson we will look at how to draw a hedgehog (hedgehog) with a pencil step by step in the leaves realistically. In this lesson, pencils of different softness were used, see the softness gradation.

First, let's make a pencil sketch.

Lighting from the back, so the sky will be darker than the leaves, the needles of the hedgehog along the contour are strongly lit by sunlight.

Darken the sky between the leaves.

We carefully go around the needles of the hedgehog, leaving them white and darkening the space around them.

Gradually paint over the sky darker around the light spots, creating a bokeh effect.

A fallen tree is shown larger. First, let's give the tree volume. How to distribute light-shadows can be found here. And then unevenly draw the bark.

Let's get to the leaves. Where the leaves overlap, there will be a darker color, where a single leaf is almost white, not shaded.

We draw the needles of the hedgehog on the other, left side, shading the leaf.

We draw leaves and twigs on the right. I tried to draw from top to bottom so as not to smudge or smear the pencil with my hand. You can put a blank sheet of paper under your arm, then the drawn places will not be smeared.

Let's draw a leaf on the hedgehog, at the same time we begin to draw the hedgehog itself.

First, needles from the bottom up, it's more convenient. The needles should remain white, paint over the space around them.

We create volume at the log on which the hedgehog sits, the leaves in front of it.

The log is in the shade, so it needs to be painted over. Against its background, the hedgehog will appear brighter.
