Full biography

- How did you start?

I started writing lyrics in the year 2009. At first it was just some blank poetry, connected with romance, failed love, etc. Then it all turned into a more street style ...

Quote from an interview

- Why did you choose the direction of rap and hip-hop culture?

As a child and in my youth, I spent under punk rock or classical rock, and how would all these camp activities, campfire songs, all this left a huge imprint in my heart, in my soul, so I sometimes touch on such topics and sometimes play in such motives or by singing these songs, I want to convey this song to the people, because I really like it. But, why not some other style, why hip-hop. I had a friend Rodnique in Budapest, to whom the song Budapest is dedicated, he not only instilled in me, he gave me to listen to hip-hop, I really liked it.

"STANDING TOGETHER" interview. FEDUK

- Why such a pseudonym - Feduk?

In short, I studied at a school in Budapest, in Russian at the embassy. I had a friend Rodnique there. We drew graffiti, well, we started to draw, the first markers, the first paint and all that. Everyone was called somehow, well, for example, I have a brother Kirill - they called him Kiryan. Derivative on behalf of. As a result, they called me something Feduk, that's what they called me at the age of 12-13.

When I started painting in Budapest, I came up with all sorts of other names for myself, because I didn’t like Feduk at all, well, I don’t like it now. I wrote other names, but then someone said to me: “Listen Feduk, Feduk ... like Feduk is fine.” I’m like, “OK, I’ll leave it like that.” and when he began to record the first tracks, he began to be called in general.

Personal life

Fans know a lot about Feduk's work and success, but they know little about the rapper's personal life. She is practically inaccessible. We know that Feduk has a beloved girl Dasha Panfilova, the date of acquaintance with which they celebrate every year on July 27th. We can wish them great happiness.

Feduk and Eldzhey conflict

- When did the relationship (with LJ) go downhill?

It was a surprise to us that relations began to decline. And we asked ourselves this question, why did they decline and, in short, probably, when they began to determine who-what-where. Rights and so on. The story is like this. We recorded the song and agreed... Until then, to make a contract so that you have your own music, I heard about it, but did not attach importance, because it's a sidekick. Alya all in half. Here is such an agreement at first was - all in half. And it doesn't matter how many there are. We didn't know he would shoot like that...

They send us a contract, which says that the music belongs to the label, and everything in general belongs to the label and we are to this track, so I, Fedor Andreevich Insarov, have nothing to do with it. I mean, I gave everything. And we divide the profit in words in half ... They send us a contract where we are not involved in this song at all. We send you our contract. They say: "No, this is not the right contract. We can not split it. We have all the music belongs to us." And now the story turns into the fact that from 100%, 35% belongs only to me ...

Quote from an interview

Feduk now

Feduk continues to create new albums. work in progress on the album that we should expect in the spring of 2018.

Feduk (Feduk, real name Fedor Insarov) is a Moscow rap artist who loudly declared himself after the release of the film "Okolofutbola", for which he wrote the soundtrack. Member of Versus Battle, author of the hit "Rose Wine".

Childhood and youth

As a child, Fedor had to travel a lot. The boy was born on February 9, 1992 in Moscow, and at the age of 5 he moved with his parents to China. The family lived in the Middle Kingdom for three years, after which they returned to Moscow again. There Fedya went to a music school, where he mastered playing the trumpet, balalaika and clarinet.

But his nomadic life did not end there. In 2004 the family moved again, this time to Hungary. Fedya lived in Budapest for four years and remembers those years with great warmth. It was there that he "fell ill" with rap thanks to his friend Rodion Meshkov (Rodnique).

He knew well English language, was fond of the work of Eminem and translated the content of his songs to Fedor. Over time, the guys began to write tests themselves and recite them at home with a guitar.

Career

Returning to Moscow, Fedor took the pseudonym FEDUK (as his friends called him) and with his brother Kirill assembled his first team, Dobro za Rap, which included six more of their friends. In 2010, the guys recorded the first album "Moscow 2010", dedicated to reflections on the meaning of life, "boy" friendship and love for football. It turned out to be a good collection in the underground style, which was positively received in the metropolitan rap party.

FEDUK - Around football

In 2012, Fedor was offered to record the soundtrack for Anton Bormatov's film Okolofutbola about the life of football fans hidden from the townsfolk. The rapper himself is a devoted fan of Spartak, so it was not difficult for him to write a suitable track for him. In addition, the musician was involved in several crowd scenes and received invaluable acting experience, which was useful to him later in his work on video clips.

After the release of the film on the screens, Fedor was immediately recorded as a football hooligan, but his subsequent work quickly destroyed this stereotype. From 2013 to 2014, he released three albums at once, met fellow rappers: Raskolnikov, Pasha Technik and Kalmar, with whom he organized several concerts in Moscow and St. Petersburg.

In the same year, he took part in the Versus Battle, where he won a convincing victory over the St. Petersburg rapper Yung Trappa.

In 2016, together with representatives of the Moscow rap party (Kravts, Bang Ro, Leah), Feduk recorded the album Free, which made listeners take a fresh look at his work. FEDUK partly moved away from the underground and turned to freestyle, which further expanded the circle of his fans.

In the summer of 2017, Feduk presented the album "F&Q" to listeners, which was called by critics "the brightest episode in musical career performer." Beatmaker Qoss helped the rapper with the recording of the album, so Feduk's new release was very different from the previous ones musically. The disc includes 9 tracks, including the sensational "Bassline bitches".

In September, he pleased fans with the original work "Forsim and Post" (as part of a project from Open Flow) - the lyrics of the song were compiled from comments from YouTube.

Aljay & Feduk - Rose wine

The peak of the young artist's popularity was the track "Rose Wine", recorded together with the Novosibirsk rapper Eldzhey. He became real musical event 2017, took pride of place in the top ten of Russian iTunes and collected a huge number of views on YouTube.

Feduk's personal life

On July 27, 2009, Fedor met model Daria Panfilova, who became the lady of the heart and the muse of the brutal rapper. Every year they celebrate the date of their acquaintance in a romantic setting. 0 March 7, 2018, 15:10

"Rose wine" settled in our heads more than six months ago and does not get bored at all. And after the insanely funny parody shown on the Ivan Urgant show, even those who had not heard it before learned about the song. The magic of this track (the video got more than 60 million views!) is unknown, but the culprits of the fact that the line "It's so beautiful here, I stop breathing" sounds in almost every headphone are now familiar to many - this is Fedor a.k.a. Feduk and Aleksey, better known as Eldzhey.

The artists almost immediately after the release of the video stopped communicating with each other. Reasons Feduk, aka Fedor Insarov, already discussed in an interview with Yuri Dudyu. the site met with Feduk on the eve of the Moscow concert and asked about the correspondence with fans, the new song "Flakes Fly Up", the release of the album and the scar on his stomach. Let's make a reservation right away: Fedya turned out to be wildly sweet and modest. Gossips, sounds to a minimum, let's go!

The hit "Rose Wine" has been on the playlists for more than six months and almost no one has bothered until now, even you - the person who performs it over and over again. What is the magic?

I don't know, but we really did end up with some kind of audio drug. The chorus is euphoric - I don't know how to explain it. The worst thing is that the song really does not bother and constantly causes some kind of unusual feeling, including me - and so with every listening! It is very interesting how much more she will be heard and on the dance floors.

Have you resumed communication with LJ? Will you perform "Rose Wine" together?

No, we still don't talk much. We are both very busy, we do not have time for this and, most importantly, there are no common topics. Everyone is minding their own business, everyone, roughly speaking, does not care about each other. As for the joint performance of the song... I don't know, maybe. Everything happens in life. I have no conflict with him, I am unforgiving and unvindictive. Offensive thoughts do not creep in.

What about him?

I never heard anything sincere from him. I don't know how to rate this.

You recently returned from Bali, did you manage to write new lyrics and tracks there?

In fact, in such places, I first feed on emotions, and after a while they overtake me, and I write about it. Yes, I wrote a few choruses there - two or three. But these are such short things that I will finish already in Moscow.

On vacation, you did not part with your smartphone: you published a lot of photos and funny stories. He rode a scooter, danced, sang and just fooled around. Not without beach photos - and everyone noticed that you have a scar on your stomach. How did he appear?

It was a very serious operation on the stomach and intestines, which I did as a child. My life was in danger, but now everything is fine. I don’t like to talk about it, because I was sick a lot all my childhood and spent months in hospitals.

You said yourself that your audience is Instagram is mostly female. Do girls often write to you, send their photos? Do you think you could fall in love with your fan? And is it difficult to understand whether they love you for fame and money or just for what you are?

Yes, they write, but they don’t send me explicit photos, by the way. It happens sometimes, but very rarely, and then these are some too young girls.

Insincerity, in fact, can be seen, but the girls have now gone (and they used to be) very cunning. Therefore, sometimes it is really difficult to understand where is the truth and where is the lie. Maybe, of course, it depends life experience. Now, when something like this happens, I try to translate relations into super friendly, but this is if the person is really good, Yes, I understand that someone can use my fame, but let such people themselves be embarrassed for their actions, and not me (by the way, now Fedor's heart is free. - Approx. ed.).

I read a lot as a child, because my mother is a teacher of Russian and literature. Almost everything that we were asked for the summer, I read. But now, recent years six or seven, I read very little, I don't have a favorite author, I can't argue with someone about the style of some poet or discuss a book. Everything has already gone out of my head, and those books that I opened relatively recently ("Atlas Shrugged" by Ayn Rand, "Three Comrades" by Erich Maria Remarque, "The Alchemist" by Paulo Coelho), I could not even read to the end. The problem is that there is no self-organization.

You already had a period of glory after the release of the song for the movie "Okolofutbola", but quickly passed. Five years later, you're a star again. How do you feel about popularity now?

I don't feel like a star and I'm mediocre about it. Now it is much more difficult to appear in some public places: if I go to eat in some ordinary place, then I start to catch surprised looks on myself. And I do not immediately realize what is happening, because I just came to eat. After a while, people begin to come up, take pictures, ask something ... There is such a concentration of attention that I feel embarrassed. I don't want to get used to it, because the popularity can suddenly disappear.

Many say that you sing with eyes closed. By the way, when you give an interview, you also don't always make eye contact. Where does this shyness come from? And is it shyness?

When I sing, I try to feel and hear the song from the inside. Inadvertently, I even forget where I am, and this is normal, typical of creative people, songwriters. I always sing soulful slow acoustic compositions with my eyes closed. On the contrary, I sing something energetic and dancing with open eyes and always look at the audience.

Yes, I have always had embarrassment. You see, I'm just getting used to all this. For me, things started to happen very abruptly. Before, I didn’t give interviews much and didn’t go to TV shows. There are no problems with clips - there is no fear of the camera.

Yours came out the other day new song, which fans have been waiting for - "Flakes are flying up." Tell me, what kind of flakes and why do they fly not down, but up?

Of course, the first association with snow. But the fact that they fly up is rather strange, I agree. I won't attribute this song to any particular time of the year, because the song is not about that. The idea is this: something incredible is happening, as if not in reality - so the flakes fly up, the logic is violated. Something just flies up.

"Flake" is a different style of music compared to " rose wine". In most cases, acoustic music is not as popular as dance music, but these songs can become yard hits, and among different audiences. For example, the songs of the Dances Minus and Lyapis Trubetskoy groups. By the way, their music has always been close to me .

Tickets for your next Moscow concert on March 9 are already sold out. Are there any touring plans and when can we expect the release of the new album?

From the beginning of March, we start a big tour of Russia: 40 cities, more new ones will be added! It's a very interesting experience for me because I'll be performing almost every day. After Moscow and St. Petersburg, we fly all over Russia to set the heat. And in the fall on November 18 at the Stadium we will present a new album. It will be almost all dance. I can’t say exactly what style this music has, but it’s nice to dance and ride a car to this. Such a cool dance lounge and house - all together.

Do you get offended when people call you the Russian Drake? Do you like his work at all?

By the way, I had never even noticed before that I looked like Drake. Once I somehow cut my hair, and everyone started talking to me about it. No, I'm not offended. I really like how Drake develops and how quickly he came to success. For very short term Drake has achieved amazing results - more than all the western rappers put together.

Initially, I liked Drake because he was one of the first to integrate singing into rap. I do this too, but in a slightly different way. I don't rely on it much and I don't copy anything. In general, I noticed that over the past five years, everyone has picked up this wave.

Drake

Why do you even write songs?

If you read my texts and listen, you can notice a lot of incomprehensible things. I have unusual images, the lines themselves add up. I don’t plan anything initially - the words just flow by themselves. I understand that it comes from outside. I must be connected to something supernatural.

Of course, I wonder why I am recording this, for whom, what is the meaning of all this. In fact, all my work is based on kindness, honesty and warmth ... Life is not always smooth, and with my songs I want to make people a little kinder. I pay attention to the emotional moments of life and examine them under a microscope. You know, it's like in books, when one natural phenomenon is described on four pages. So I pay a lot of attention to the description of emotions or phenomena.

Sometimes banter is visible in my texts. I like this contrast: when famous, successful and wealthy people behave simply, embarrassing people who consider themselves popular, media and talented . I am somehow in simple terms I can besiege them, not on purpose, but I like it. The same thing happens in my compositions. I can laugh at someone else, and make fun of myself, but without humiliating anyone and without hurting at the same time.

We thank Anastasia Bazarnova for her help in preparing the material!

They say that you quickly get used to good things, but every time he enters the big stage, he can hardly believe his eyes. “Every time I go nuts when I see a huge place - a platform that I probably went to a couple of years ago for some famous musicians". But five years ago, schoolchildren in the back desks whispered that they would go to the concert of “the one that “Futbolchik” sings.”

Football, hooliganism and brotherly love in principle have always been the main themes of his work. There is little romance in his songs, but under “Flakes are flying upstairs”, one of the last ones, all the lonely girls of Russia have been crying for a couple of months now. Fedya wrote it after breaking up with a girl named Daria, whom he had met for more than five years. The reasons for the gap are unknown (it is also useless to look for them in the song), but even the most ardent Feduk fans adored this couple. “In Flakes, everything is mixed up: some feelings, memories, images ...” But they managed to maintain a warm relationship. Dasha still shoots him from behind the scenes in Stories when he performs, and is almost always in the same company with him. True, Feduk assures: "It is in the past, now - only music."

Of course, he doesn’t think about new novels yet: “It’s not that I’m not ready, I just don’t plan - there is no time at all, there are a lot of things that need to be done, and do them with a completely clear head.” And this is not surprising - he travels 15-17 cities a month, but nothing can compare with a flight to Malaysia, where they filmed a video for "Wine". “I was sick then, and we flew for 16 hours, of which I did not sleep for a second. Arrived, slept for two hours, filmed a video and flew back to Moscow. We flew to Moscow, then to St. Petersburg, and then back to Moscow, and all this in one day.

He is tired and it shows. Filming, interviews and press attention “for fun” are always only at the beginning, then the same questions start to make me sick. And he is one of those who have always loved freedom: words, actions of creativity - he painted graffiti, hung out with football players and, of course, wrote rap since his teenage years.

Today, even his father, a lecturer at MGIMO, has to tell students that they misunderstood - they say, not my son. And this is not surprising - he and Andrei Lvovich are like two drops. “Complains. He says it used to be funny, but now there are too many people approaching him.”
